  Try to use the steps in this article to remove the share of the computer that is located in the folder:
  Stop sharing a folder or drive

  If the folder still appears in Windows Explorer, try pressing F5 on your keyboard to refresh the items that are displayed.

  I am running Windows Vista: Home Premium (32 bit). By mistake I deleted the "Desktop" icon from the folder of the user and it caused all the folders with files have disappeared from the office. I tried several recovery programs, including Recuva, but no trace of these folders and files were found. I suppose they might not actually be deleted recovery programs have been unable to find them. When I try to search for them, their shortcuts (never created by me) are, but they do not lead to files.   You may think it is... but we'll see... In Explorer, go to
  C:\Users\ (assuming that C: is the drive for your operating system). You should see a
  Icon on the desktop. Right click on the desktop icon. Do you see a named tab
  'Location' (if not you have not restored Desktop).

  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE...

  I have a file left behind by an uninstall, '146-200 300 Jetliner just of flight ' folder to be precise!

  After that I removed the program, the file was still in the Start Menu. So right clicked and tried to delete native mode in the start menu which will be presented with the message "unable to delete the folder. Check the location of the item... "or something in that sense.

  I tried many fixes but all without success. I tried CCleaner, I tried to remove it from CMD, I tried to rename, move and merge the file with one of the same name. I also tried to reinstall the program, delete the folder with the installed program and try uninstall again to remove the folder.

  Literally nothing works. The only thing I have not tried is a Disk Clean Up, simply because I don't think it will work.

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  I show 894 messages in my deleted items folder.  When I click on this folder I don't see any messages.  When I right click to empty deleted folder, I get an error message - some items in the folder "Deleted items" may not be deleted - an error has occurred.

  What I see - when I go in the folder items that are removed in the lower left corner, it says "0 0 messages reading".  If the folder is empty, but how can I get rid of the number in brackets - 894?

  The performance of some applications that had previously been running OK, my pocket computer suddenly began to lock up.  A problem that is pointed to a directory and a file on sd card saying they were corrupt.  I was unable to delete them via menus pocket so I used a card reader on my PC to see the troublemakers.  My PC also would not have allowed the deletion or even to move the damaged items.  Your Forum has proposed using DBFixit I tried, but could not find even the elements.  (DBFixit solves only DBases?)  Help!   I need your magic.    My handheld is a T / X which otherwise works fine.

  It probably belongs to a software, so that when you open the software it creates this folder if it is not there. It's just a guess from what you described above.

  Just look through a Favorites folder "music" and decided to delete the old folder it contains. Unfortunately, I managed to delete the folder music together!

  If you have not yet closed Firefox, just open the library window and use organize > Cancel.

  If you have closed Firefox, restore a backup of bookmark to before this is deleted.
