    OK, I have finally installed. FixIt program find nothing, however. IntelliPoint is installing or uninstalling in there list...

    The problem was the center of the keyboard and mouse. I removed which, and then the Intellipoint Setup program has agreed to run.
    I'll post more if the mouse works correctly even with this driver, but I have to try for awhile. I must point out that it is confusing that the mouse and the keyboard Center is the first program listed on the support page, when it doesn't work properly with this mouse and even stops the good driver installer.

    My connection is set up from the following:

    When I test the connection, I get the following response:
