Unable to print from Safari browser
I'm running an Early 2009 Mac Pro with Snow Leopard OS. I try to print to a HP Photosmart Premium C410 series (62C97D). I can print from all applications except Safari (version 5.05). Whenever I hit the "print" button or command-p Safari frozen and must be restarted. The funny thing is, if there is a button "click here to print" on the web page that it prints very well. But with the button "print" on the toolbar, the command-c or the file > print does not work. Anyone have any ideas?
I forgot to say that the printer icon does not appear in the dock, or any print job appears in the queue. Safari freezes everything and everything stops here.
Thank you
Scott
Make sure that your OS is in good health. Download 10.6.7 Combo Update from here.
Then repair disk permissions:
Applications > utilities > disk utility. Select your Macintosh HD on the left side, then click repair permissions from disk on the bottom.
Finally, we will restore the print system:
-Sys Prefs, Print & Fax
-Right (control) click inside the box that lists your printers and select Reset Printing System.
WARNING - This will remove ALL your printers!
-Select the sign + to add again. Search for the printer, select it, and wait until the button 'Add' becomes available. Until it clicks.

Welcome to the community of HP @mikiev,
I read your current and previous posts about how you can't print from the internet, and I wanted to answer you with my suggestions. I understand that you have tried to use different however search engines, try to return to my colleague's response @RnRMusicMan on the link below and try to use another web browser altogether. Again, if you use Google Chrome, try Firefox or Internet Explorer.
If Chrome and Firefox will not print, try printing from NotePad, which is a program that is preinstalled on your system to see if the draws work from there.
You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome or Firefox, whatever one you use often, to see if that helps the printing problem.
Let me know what is happening and we can go from there!
Good luck

Hp6700: Unable to print from my ipad
Recently changed internet service providers and now I am unable to print from my iPad to my wireless printer. My iPhone works, and the computer works, but cannot print anything on my iPad.
Hello
Sorry to hear that you are experiencing printing problems.
Try to restart your apple device - it's a simple solution that sometimes allows to restore the connection to the printer.
Other things to check would be that there has been no recent changes to the wifi password and the password for wifi on the ipad has been updated. -

Hi @phlump,
Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!
I see that you are unable to print from Internet Explorer 11 to your HP LaserJet 1022n printer. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.
I understand that you are able to print from other applications. While this question would be better suited for Microsoft, I can make some suggestions. If these solutions do not help, please contact Microsoft.
Reset Internet Explorer settings (backup your Favorites):
You can reset the Internet Explorer settings to return to the State they were when Internet Explorer has been installed on your PC. This can be useful to solve the problems that could be caused by some settings changed after installation. Reset Internet Explorer is not reversible, and all the previous settings are lost after reset.

PDF file with print restrictions still prints from gmail browser
I saved a pdf file that is password protected. The file is quite locked, no no printing, no images, no text copy change...
But the problem is that when the file is considered to be an attachment in gmail and return 'Preview' of the browser mode (in this case, firefox) it can be printed from the browser. a way to solve this problem? basically adobe security was bypassed easily even without a sophisticated hack. #disappointed adobe!
Actually, it depends on how you password protect a document. If you just put a password on the file, but don't encrypt, Yes, not comply with can applications rules and opens the PDF file. But you can encrypt.
See Security with passwords, Adobe Acrobat PDF files.

I use 7 Captivate. I need the user to be able to print the results. The certificates are not an option. They are too limited. When not published in HTML 5, I have a print widget. He wants only half of a print screen. If I publish to HTML 5, I can then the file menu of the browser user to print. However, she still shows only a mosquito net. How can I fix this.
They must be able to print the results page. I've included a sample using the login screen. Below you can see what I see on the screen of the printer browser
This is what it must have printed.
What is the cause? Can anyone help?
It ends up being a problem for chrome browser after all. Easy correction. Use Internet Explorer. This works well for us. Our intranet uses Internet Explorer by default.

Hi, thanks for your time! I have problems printing from FireFox. I use PayPal for print shipping label (I sell on Ebay) and he's a few weeks that I have to use IE to print from the Internet. Nothing is printing from Firefox. And since it is my browser FAVORITE, it's boring. I have the latest Java, reinstalled my drivers (uninstall and install fees). I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing seems to work. Update Java, reinstalled drivers for my Epson Styllus NX215, change USB port, cleared cookies and all things... It works with Internet Explorer. I have to use Internet explorer to print from the Internet... Can you help me to not use IE anymore?
- (o) thank you.
I use a computer MDG with an Intel CoreI7, with Windows 7 Home premium (64-bit) SP1, 8 GB of ram
Thank you very much, I already did. It didn't work... the problem is solved by uni at a standstill and re-install Firefox. (the update does not work).
Thanks anyway

have a Firefox to date and was able to print on HP printer from the internet until recently. Am sure that the problem is in a setting of Firefox so I can print from the internet using Safari. The printer is selected in the preferences and it seems to send a message to printer but only blank paper comes out... and ideas of what to try would be appreciated!
Hi timcasey.
I recommend you read this Support article on troubleshooting printing problems:

Nothing else in the system has been changed. Previous editions of Firefox perfectly printed on a Samsung laser printer. Now the computer attempts to save the file to print and get a display "unknown error occurred in printing".
I can get a print from a website if I using Internet Explorer. However, I would like to continue using Firefox as I prefer by far its display and the best speedThis seems to be a problem with margins in the page layout. Open the file > page setup and set the upper and lower at 0.5 margins (inches or what is appropriate region). I then restarted firefox and presto chango, it works.

Unable to print from the web... allows to print from notepad or wordpad since
Well Firefox using more than a year with a Lexmark printer. Switched to an Epson printer yesterday and used the Epson install disk by following the instructions. Tried to print 2 different elements of the internet tonight and got a msg that the printer cannot communicate with the PC. Called Epson which had me a test print om Notepad and print it out. Print very well. Epson said it isn't a problem with the printer, but rather a conflict with Internet Explorer (which I use is any more). Can advise you. The Epson has by default in my control panel and I unplugged then replugged my USB cable, the printer power cable and restarted my PC.
Bob please remove your E-mail address, we spam bots that cruse forums, looking for things like that. Also what starts here ends here, if others have this issue and the answer is not here that it is not very useful.
Removing printer:
Disconnect the printer from your computer. Click 'Start' and open "devices and printers". Here, you will find your printer. Right-click on the icon and tell "remove hardware".
When the printer is removed, restart Windows and make sure that the printer is not available.
At this point, plug the printer back in and turn it on Win7 must track a driver to make it work. Remember that the word 'works' Win7 found a driver and installed, it does not mean that it is the biggest driver.Epson is one of the original designers of printers I would be shocked if they did not have the driver you need right on the Web. That being said, that is where Win7 would receive the driver. BUT Win7 is going to pull from a pool of drivers based on what they get back from pinging your printer, they will pull what is said to work by the printer builder, it would be up to the printer builder to keep the pool up to date.
So once you are up and running you may want to go to Epson and search that out. The proper Epson driver may give you options Win7 won't know about.

iPhone 5
Printer HP Photosmart 7525
We bought a new router and when it was installed, I cannot print from my iPhone 5. My phone is set up on the new WiFi router. I guess the signal to the printer is going through the router. I don't really know.
I need help to know how to enable printing from my iPhone.
Hello
AirPrint is based on Hello (multicast), which should be supported by your router.
Some routers does not support such an and some may need to change the settings of the multicast router work.
Please let me know your router brand and model to understant better capabilities.
So, you can try the HP ePrint app and check if that can allow the addition of the printer by its IP address.
Click on the plus sign while choosing a printer and type its IP address, which can be found by clicking Setup > network > network display the summary on the front of the printer:

6520 photosmart e-ALL-IN-ONE s: unable to print from iPad to a wireless printer
Cannot print from my iPad on my wireless (Yes Internet is on it) printer Photosmart of HP 6520. I tried to send a recipe and he sent me a message to my email saying that he had received and was ready to print from my Photosmart printer. But it only printed the address http at the top of the page (web address) but no recipe.
Thanks for any help that the alleged aid 24/7 is closed for Mac devices.
NSDebHello
AirPrint is already built into the iPad. I have included a link below with some instructions on how to use it. As long as your ipad and the printer are connected to the same wifi network, AirPrint must operate, your printer is active AirPrint.
