  • Cannot print wireless even if 6510 is connected to my network

    Hello

I bought a Photosmart 6510 who said I could print wireless and also use AirPrint for my iPhone.

I am running Windows 7, connected the printer on the network, run a test report which shows that everything is connected, strong signal, IP address, etc.  Everything looks good at this point.

When I try and add a printer through Windows and her request to connect through the network, I get to the point in the configuration where the IP address is required, but then he says: I can't sign in - cannot find the printer!

I have downloaded and run the troubleshooter of HP, but in vain.  None of the solutions work.

I can print when I connect to a USB port, but that defeats the purpose I have to drag the laptop to the printer, plug it, etc... not really what I signed up for!  Also iPhone can't find the printer, even if the phone, laptop computer and the printer are all connected to the network.

If anyone has the offerings that I'd love to hear from you.

    Thanks in advance.

Try to disable your firewall temporarily to see if it is the culprit.

  • printer wireless 3050 j611 guard lose connection

My printer wireless-3050 j611 guard a lose connection. Sometimes the Internet work to a crawl when this happens. I have run all kinds of utilities, virus checkers, re - install printer DCP. When he gets back online, the Internet seems to run at full speed. It's embarrassing. I am connected via ATT Uverse.

    Hello hollywodBDA

I work on the assumption that you are running Windows 7 that you have not specified a operating system that you are running. I will give you is a called HP support document: troubleshooting your wireless network and Internet access (Windows 7). If you are not running Windows 7 just Google search "Troubleshooting your wireless network connection" and Internet and pick the one with your operating system. Now, this document should help you identify what is happening on this is the cause of your network to go down. It is not a coincidence that you lose the connection to your printer when your network goes down that it communicates on the network. Think of it as a phone line, you talk to someone to say New York, and the telephone system breaks down. It is not a problem with the person you're talking to New York, but the network which has cut off the communication.

Now, this does not mean that a printer can't get a network, it is just unlikely. I would consider the most obvious causes such as computers on the network and even the router itself.

If you want to identify which device is take them down to remove network devices one at a time until the problem stops and/or Exchange on to see which is causing the problem.

I hope that this will lead you to the solution on what take down your network. Thanks for posting this topic on the Forums of HP feel free to re-post if you still need help. Have a nice day

  • Cannot print to a printer wireless HP using Windows 7 computer

I just purchased and installed a wireless HP 8630 computer and installed on a desktop computer connected to my router as a network printer.  The computer recognizes the printer, like the network, but the computer cannot print to it.  I can ping the printer from the computer and you can see it as a device connected to the network web interface.  When I run HP diagnostics, it allows to print a test page and tells me that all is well.  When I try to print from Word, Outlook, web browser, or anything else the computer it just does not print.  I get no prompt or anything else.  It just says: 0 jobs on hold, then disappears.   I can print from a computer using Windows XP on the network.  I can also print from my ipad with airprint.  I can't just simply print to the Windows 7 computer.  I can copy and same scan, but can't print.

I read that all the prior tries to fix the problem, but it remains pursists.   Windows 7 computer is 64-bit.  Netgear router N.  Everything is updated.    Any help is appreciated.

The solution to my problem was install the 8630 driver and software, then driver update for the printer instead of the 8630 8600 driver.

  • HP DJ 3520 cannot print wireless to laptop (Windows 7, 64-bit)

    Hello

My HP Deskjet 3520 stopped wireless printing.

    I already tried the following:

    -Disable the firewall

    -Uninstall and re install software

    -print and scan the doctor

-result page test print network (which confirms all okay, pass, etc.)

I think I've exhausted all the self-help options that provide HP.  Configuration guides annoyingly tell me that it turns out that the printer is already connected to the wireless network, but it is not found when I want to print something!  Please can someone help!

(I can still print using the USB).

I just bought the printer less than 5 months ago, but apparently it's out of warranty when executing control online?

    Thank you.

    Is a Deskjet 3510 or a Deskjet 1050 - J410 series printer?

We'll find the IP address of the printer by pressing the Wirelessbutton or by printing a Network Setup page.

    Do not remove the IPv6.

It's the all-in-one series Officejet 6500?  It would be very different from the set of Deskjet 6500 (which as far as I know, do not have a wireless option).

  • Printer wireless to a direct PC connection

I have a HP Office Jet 6450 all-in-one - wireless.    I've only had problems with the wireless on the first day.  Went through all the checks by the site Web HP, internet has changed business - now I want to just connect my printer directly on my PC when I want to print.    How do I do that?      I can't find my first start disk space, if I had a.  If I need to change it on?

What operating system?  Download and install the latest version of the software for your printer from the "Support & drivers" link at the top of this page.

Many times wireless problems are caused by routers at low prices (particularly those issued by Internet service providers).  What router are you using?

  • Deskjet D2660 printer: unable to print from your PC Windows 10 using printer HP Deskjet D2660 shared connected to Windows 7 PC

    Hello

I have two PC Marge and Homer connected through a NetGear router:

Margin: A Windows 7 32 bit laptop computer with an HP Deskjet D2660 printer and one scanner HP Scanjet 2400 attached to it. All these devices work perfectly well.

Homer: 10 64 bit Windows desktop without devices.

The two computers share their photos, music, videos and documents folders and printers via a homegroup. However, although Homer can see the printer connected to the margin, if I try to print anything from Homer, it fails. To give an example of this, if I print from 2013 word on Homer, the dialog box is shown below:

At other times, on Homer, the item to be printed appears in the print queue, spool but then disappear. Moreover, I am aware of the problems of HP driver causing the elements to disappear with the disappearance of print queues in Windows.

All the HP diagnostic software I tried did not detect the printer, perhaps because it is an older model.

    Can someone advise?

    Thank you

    Martin O'Shea.

For the Dissapperaing of print job in the queue. Please follow the path below.

Step: 1 Goto C drive--> Windows System32-->--> coil--> printers (right click and click Properties).

Step: 2. under printer properties. Click the Security tab.

Step: 3 Under Group or user name-> click on each one, then click on modify.

Click on allow on all the paramaters (Permission) and then click on apply and then click ok.

Step: 4 reboot the system and unplug the power cable from the printer without pressing the power button on the printer.

Problem should be solved, it's usually because that computer allocates the permission for printing.

I hope that this should take care of the concern.

  • OfficeJet 6000 computer connected to windows 7. Unable to print from the laptop Windows XP

Printer connected by USB to the Windows 7 desktop.  Printing is fine.  I have two computers on the same network of working group, file sharing is allowed.  My laptop detects the printer on the network, but there is apparently a driver problem.  The disc supplied with the printer will only install on XP and Vista, so downloaded the drivers for the new office of windows 7.  I either get a message "Failed to print" or "the handle is invalid."  When I tried to connect to the printer via the network of sharing and tried to open it, I was told that the wrong drivers were located on the server.  He had the air of a file with *. INF.  Do I have the wrong drivers on the desktop or do I need to install the drivers on the laptop?  I never had this problem with my old Vista desktop.

Hello.  Finally, I was able to install additional drivers for XP on the server computer and can now print from the laptop.  Thanks for the help!

  • Unable to print - Officejet J5780 all-in-One, connected to the laptop USB

I bought a HP all-in-one Officejet J5780 in 2008 and all this year I started having problems printing. I am a student online so I need to print assignment or documents related to the class of my laptop, or make other personal business which involves an impression. I connect the printer to my laptop with a USB port. I have Windows 7 Edition home premium on my laptop. When I bought the printer, I used it with another laptop with Vista. Last year, I bought a laptop.

I'm going to open a document, click on print, a box will appear as if sending information to the printer, and then nothing happens. The file is located in the print queue whose status is empty. Sometimes stop the printer and re - start, it would start printing once reconnected. But no more. Sometimes if I start my printer first, let it sit, start my laptop, let it sit a bit, connect the USB cable, let them rest a bit, then try to print it will work. But it is rare now. Sometimes if I am performing a repair online it suddenly started working. But it becomes harder and harder.

I guess I need to new drivers or something, but I don't know which ones to download from HP. This new laptop does not recognize the printer software disk came with.

I try to start printing HP and doctor Scan and it detects my printer at the start, but at the next step, it does not, said that it can not be connected. I can print an alignment page or test page.

Or is it time for a new printer?

I know that is not the USB port on the laptop, because I used the plug with other types of USB cables and everything works. I was wondering if the printer USB cable is bad or corroded the output on the printer itself. I bought a new USB cable and tried. The printer has been detected, updated drivers, and until now it works fine.
