Unable to re - activate my usb headset__

I just bought a Logitech H330 usb headset. Initially, it was working fine. I then disabled and now am unable to turn it back on. It appears on my devices/Printers page, but when I open the sound settings is not listed here. Have you tried searching device, by disconnecting and reconnecting it, have restarted with the device is connected and without and in him after reconnecting. Nothing seems to work. I'm under the Win7 RC on a custom machine. If you would like details of my setup let me know, but as I said at first it worked perfectly, I'm just unable to re - activate the device.

Hi Aeonhutch,

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!

Check if the device is listed in the Volume Control Options in the system tray.

Right click on the speaker icon in the tray at the bottom right and check if your USB headset is in the list. If it is enable and check if it works.

This could also be a problem because you are using the Release Candidate of Windows 7 version; Some features do not work as it is supposed to Release Candidate. Go to Windows 7 Release manufacturer.

Hope this information is useful.

    Hello

Don t know what modem you have and need this modem but I recommend checking that my modem manufacturer supplied installation instructions.
You should also visit the modem manufacturer for more information about the new software, installation or updates

PS; usually, you can uninstall the software installed in the Panel-> Add & Remove software.

Otherwise, I recommend tool called CCleaner. It cleans the operating system, the registry and it s useful to remove the software from the HARD drive.

  • Impossible to activate the USB Belkin, f5d8055 wireless adapter in Windows 7

I have an old Dell Laptop Inspiron 6400 PC I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on. The built-in wireless adapter works well, but I would like to use an external Belkin F5D8055 N + USB adapter for inclease & range performance.
So far, I installed the drivers for the correct adapter on the Belkin site and they seem to install correctly. The adapter is recognized and no error display in Device Manager.
If I disable or uninstall the integrated Dell wireless adapter and try and turn on the Belkin adapter, while the message displayed indicates that it allows, the adapter is disabled and grayed out. I even turned off the Dell Wireless card in the bios that actually no difference.
I know that the adapter Belkin F5D8055 working as I tried to install it in another laptop (Lenovo) and it works OK.
My question is what could be causing the adapter Belkin to stay disabled? Is this something that is that collide with the Belkin drivers?
I find a second laptop Dell Inspiron 6400 with the same generation and has the same symptoms with the Belkin adapter.
I also tried a former C and W USB wireless adapter and it also will not help.
Is there a fundamental issue with computers Dell laptop, Inspiron and Windows 7?

    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you very much

Hi Zach, you are quite correct! I have now uninstalled Zonealarm and the Belkin adapter install and activate OK. Thank you very much.

Do you know if Zonealarm can be configured to work with the Belkin adapter, or is it one or the other?

    Thanks again.

Unfortunately, it's going to be one or the other, try to reinstall.

  • Unable to connect to the USB Dongle (Aladdin Knowledge Hardlock USB 1.02)

I use a RIP that requires a USB Dongle (Aladdin Knowledge Hardlock USB 1.02). I am unable to connect to the device. As soon as I check the "USB connection" he shoots himself. If you would like more information, I would be happy to provide it.  Other USB devices work as expected.

I'm running a guest XP Pro and the latest version of Fusion and tools.

    TIA,

    Laurent-

If you perform a search in the forum on e00002c5 (the error in the log), you will find several messages stating that some process host has control of the device and is not giving up on it. There are some discusson about uninstalling drivers OSX to allow the virtual machine to grab the device, but it is probably best that you look at and avoid having to misquote me!

This mistake, by the way, is OSX. We are just reacting to a return of zero by a function call down in Mac-land.

    Hope it will be useful.

  • Key to activate the USB on Satellite M70 boot sequence

I have a Satellite M70 with Bootable USB connected on a USB key.

"After cold start if I press F2 to select the boot sequence, a" + "sign near the HARD drive may be developed (such as a directory in explorer.exe) HDD / USBdevice by pressing the"Ctrl + Enter"."

Then you can choose the HARD drive or USB key to start.
But if I press F12, I had the same pattern as before (+ HDD) but 'Enter' or 'Ctrl + Enter '.
does'nt put the HARD drive / USB stick but the boot disk HARD and Windows to start.

    My question:

After pressing F12 key support to allow a start on USBdevice?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Usually, if you use the F12 key to start up you can use up and down arrows to choose the right device and if you press ENTER the boot device will start.

In your case it doesn't start t because you cannot use USB to start but the floppy USB drive.

  • Unable to load the driver USB BT adapter for Aardvark I2C total phase

I tried to install the Total Phase Aardvark I2C USB driver for LabVIEW on two computers and two versions of LV (8.5 and 7.1) without success. The Windows driver seems to work very well as their command center that GUI terminal-esque program works without a hitch, but the DLL LV do not seem to work.

The very simple vi to find the Aardvark USB devices (aa_find_devices) is attached. It always returns the same error code, 8002, which resolves to:

    AA_UNABLE_TO_LOAD_DRIVER

    -2

Failed to load the USB driver

    Their documentation: http://www.totalphase.com/docs/aardvark_datasheet/sect005/#s5.9

It sounds like maybe the DL of LabVIEW, 'aardvark.dll', maybe have a problem of version control. So my question is this: using LabVIEW, how debug DLLs dependencies and solve the problems of this kind? I need the source code for the lib?

    See you soon,.

    Joe Gorse

    This is the "aardvark.dll".

I took a quick peak in the dll provided with the LabVIEW and that comes with the control center with IDA, has seen the same entry points, but that the files were different. So I thought that because the control center worked and did not have the LabVIEW, perhaps the control center dll would work for LabVIEW. After the swap, it worked like a charm.

    Thanks for the suggestions!

  • HP 15 r036tu: unable to boot from USB

I'm unable to boot from a USB key, I started correctly the USB, it works on other laptops but not on mine. I also changed my boot order in the bios, but still, I'm not able to boot from USB. I read somewhere that it's because of security windows 8.1 can you help me with this.  Thanks in advance

The trick to this is to use a utility that will make your USB boot EFI and MBR.

The following link goes to a third party site with free downloadable open source utilities to do exactly that and even more.

  • X 220 and Mini Series 3 with USB 3.0

    Hello

I am recently received a Mini Series 3 with USB 3.0 for my laptop company ThinkPad X 220 Windows 7 64 bit.

However, after installation of the USB 3.0 driver downloaded from the Lenovo Web site, I still do not see USB 3.0 in my Device Manager device.

I have also some test using an USB3.0 external HDD but the USB 3.0 port seems to have exactly the same speed as all the other ports.

How can I activate USB3.0 on this Docking Station?

    Thank you

    Jeremy

ThinkPad X 220 with i7 (i3 and i5 has usb 2.0 ports only) has a single USB 3.0 port, but the way it is connected through the motherboard, it is unable to support port additional usb 3.0 from the dock.

  • How to enable the USB Support after that it disappeared from all USB keys on computer, so that the Webcam & printers no longer work?

My Canon printer and my HewlettPackard printer-copier-Scanner, as well as my Web Cam just stopped working, and when I checked the Device Manager, I found that (IP), (PPPOE) WAN Miniports and (PPTP) had all of their disabled drivers.   I'm unable to re - activate these drivers, and my Web Cam and printers were not included.    Restoration of the system, and many re - start didn't help.  Microsoft Fixit did not help.   Can someone please help me solve these problems?

    Hi WaggaJohn,

    1. What happens when you try to activate?
    2. You receive an error message?
    3. What happens when you connect the webcam to the computer?
    4. How the printers are connected to the computer?
    5. You are able to use other USB devices on the computer?

The WAN Miniport driver on Windows XP system allows to connect to some networks such as networks wireless large-scale.

    Method 1

I suggest that you uninstall all the software driver for the webcam and the printer to the computer using Device Manager and Add/Remove programs and then reinstall the updated driver from the printer manufacturer website and check if it helps.
