  • Unable to restore the iPhone!

I'm trying to restore my old iphone 5s so I can use the storage just for recording videos. First, I tried to restore the iphone settings. When he asks my apple ID password, I enter and then nothing happens. The password box just gray go button and stays there and I end up having to close the settings window of the thing of multitasking. I turned the phone off and tried again, but the same problem occurred. I then plugged the phone in iTunes and tried it that way, but he asked me to turn off my phone function discovery. I went into the settings on the iphone and tried to turn it off when he asked my apple ID password once again. I went in and the same problem occurred. The password box and gray buttons and I returned had to close the window of parameters with multitasking. It's kind of scary, given all that I want to do is wipe the phone of its stored in the memory and I can't do it again!

Nevermind, I found the solution on this cool site!

  • On startup, I get the following message: __Error C:\WINDOWS\cleamsat.dll the specified module is not found .__I am unable to restore the system to an earlier date and now everything is real slow loading.

If anyone can help please let me know. I had a virus recently (antivir solution pro), which is now deleted. The message appeared from this point.

It is easy to get rid of the error message by doing something like disable the startup item in msconfig (if you can still find), but I suggest you fix the problem and difficulty not only the symptom of the problem simply remove the startup message.
I would recommend also you start to search in the register, unless you have a backup because there is no 'Cancel' or 'quit without saving changes' option in regedit.  If you make a mistake, that's all.
These ideas relieve 'rapid' and sometimes risky of the symptom, but may not actually solve the problem.  Also, I'd be suspicious of ideas that begin with the words "try."  You don't need to try things, you need to fix things.
Here are the detailed instructions that protect you and solve your problem in the 'right' way.
There is very little. DLL files that should be loaded from the C:\WINDOWS folder and is not one of them.
Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira
!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..
A "Cannot find...". ', ' Failed to start..., "Could not load..." ». "Might not work... "" Cannot run ""error loading... ". "or"specific module could not be found"message at startup is usually related to the malware that has been configured to run at startup, but the referenced file has been removed after a malware scan, leaving behind him a startup item or the registry entry pointing to a file that does not exist.
It might be a removal of malicious software or an application not installed.  The entry may have a curious looking name since it was probably generated at random when the malware was installed. If you search your system for the referenced file, you may not find.
Windows attempts to load this file but cannot locate because the file has been deleted for most probably during an analysis of the malware. However, an orphaned associate of remainders of startup parameter or registry entry and tells Windows to load the file when you start or connection.
So you should delete the referenced entry Windows stop trying to load or run the file. It may or may not be included in the registry, but you can find it.  Autoruns (see below) you get the elements no matter where it is.
If you just locate and uncheck the item in msconfig, which disables the element but does not remove the reference to the element of false starting your computer.   The msconfig program is not a Startup Manager, that's a troubleshooting tool.  Disabling things in msconfig to put an end to the messages and think that your problem is solved is short-sighted and leave behind him a sloppy XP configuration.  Just disable the display of a start-up error message should not count as a 'solution' to the problem.
If you are comfortable editing the registry, you can find and remove the reference directly from there or remove it using a popular third-party tool called Autoruns.  The problem can always be found in the registry well.
Before making any changes to your registry by hand or with third-party tools, don't forget to first make a backup of the registry. There is no cancellation or exit without saving the option in regedit.
Here is a link to a popular registry backup tool:
You can use Autoruns to find the element of start remains little matter where he's hiding.  Autoruns does not install anything on your computer.  It will display all startup locations where the reference may be then you can turn it off or remove it completely.  Here is the download link for Autoruns:
Run Autoruns.exe and wait that he at the end of the filling of the list of entries.
When the Autoruns is finished scanning your system, it will say "Ready" in the lower left corner.  Autoruns can be a little intimidating to first if you have never seen it before because it displays a lot of information.  You are really interested only a few sections.
The problem is usually to start the system or the user startup entries, then click the connection tab and see if the startup item is there.
Scroll through the list and look for a boot entry associated files in the error message.
If you can't find on the connection tab, look in any tab.
Right-click on the offending entry and choose Remove.  If you are not sure what it is, you can simply disable, restart and if the problem is resolved and then remove the offending entry
.  If you don't see it in Autoruns, you may edit the registry and remove the item from your startup folder it.  Autoruns shall display the same information however.
Given that you had or have an infection, followed with this:
Perform scans for malware, and then fix any problems:
Download, install, update and do a full scan with these free malware detection programs:
    Malwarebytes (MMFA): http://malwarebytes.org/
    SUPERAntiSpyware: (SAS): http://www.superantispyware.com/
They can be uninstalled later if you wish.
Restart your computer and solve the outstanding issues.

Do not guess what the problem might be - understand and resolve it. I need YOUR voice and the points for helpful answers and propose responses. I'm saving for a pony!

  • When I try to restore my iPhone 6, it keeps freezing on the loading bar.

About a day after buying an iPhone 6 (16 GB), it began to restart loop (the logo of Apple, black screen, Apple logo, etc.) constantly. Over the next few days, this dilemma has happened more often, until I started looking for a solution. I tried everything, nothing worked. Thought it was a software problem, I have so I installed the beta version of IOS 10, hoping that the software does not contain what I well was a bug. He worked, for a day, while the closure began. Then, I visited my local EE store (where I bought the phone). They said they couldn't do anything while he was running the IOS beta 10 in which I installed. So, I put my phone in recovery mode and tried to restore the device. However, when iTunes was finished the extraction software, my phone has decided to restart. The phone was stuck in recovery mode and I could not access the device. I tried to do the restore again, and iTunes extracted the software successfully, however, when the loading bar was revealed, he didn't budge. I left the phone for an hour, which has yet to result in any kind of progression. For the entire hour, iTunes also said "Waiting for iPhone" or something of the kind. I have since renounced solutions after trying several times to restore the phone, which leads only to no progression of the extraction of the software. All solutions?

    Hi AtomicSamantha,

I understand that your iPhone is stuck at the start after trying to restore with recovery mode. I know it's important to have an iPhone that can run when you need it, so I'm happy to provide advice to help this issue.

To eliminate the possibility of a communication problem, the cause, my first recommendation would be to try to restore the iPhone in recovery mode, first with another well-known USB cable, then with another computer well known or network if necessary.

If you continue to have problems with your power on iPhone after trying to restore with all new connections, you can find more information by using one of the Apple here support resources:

  • Unable to download iOS 9.1 iTunes to restore my iPhone 6 s

    Hello

Now, I tried to download iTunes 9.1 12.3.1 iOS software twice and failed. It's almost done, and then I get an error message. And then I have to restart the whole download of 2GB. It's particularly frustrating because I have a slow internet connection. Is it possible to continue this download where it was. I need it to restore my iPhone 6 s as it has been disabled

    Hi sahil.s,

The resources below will provide some troubleshooting steps if your iPhone has been disabled.   If there is an Apple store or Apple authorized service provider near you, they would have a fast internet speed and may be able to help.

If you have forgotten the password for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, or your device is disabled
    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204306

If you enter the wrong password to an iOS device six times in a row, you will be locked out and a message that says that your device is turned off.

Choose a way to erase your device

Unless you make a backup before that you forgot your password, there is not a way to record the data on your device. You will need to erase your device, which erases all your data and settings. Choose a way to erase:

    • If you have synced with iTunes, use iTunes.
    • If you are connected to iCloud and Find My iPhone is enabled, use iCloud.
    • If you do not use iCloud and you cannot synchronize or connect with iTunes, use the recovery mode.

Erase your device with the recovery mode

If you have never synchronized with iTunes or configure find my iPhone on iCloud, you will need to use the recovery mode to restore your device. This will destroy the device and an access code.

    1. Connect your iOS device to your computer and open iTunes. If you don't have a computer, borrow one from a friend, or go to an Apple Store or Apple authorized service provider.
    2. When your device is connected, force restart it: press and hold buttons sleep/wake and Home at the same time. Do not let go when you see the Apple logo - keep pressed until you see on the screen in recovery mode.

    3. When you see the option restore or put to update, choose restore.

iTunes will download software for your device. If it takes more than 15 minutes, your device will exit Recovery mode and you need to repeat steps 2 and 3.

    4. Until the end of the process. Then, you can Configure and use your device.

    Take care

  • iPhone photo edit says "Download".

Hi, I've just updated the software on my iphone 6 and now when I go to edit a photo (in the photos app), something appears that says "Download"... and it is just like that forever. I thought maybe he was downloading new software photo editing, but it never seems to end.  I have icloud and "my photo stream" goes out. What is going on?  Thank you

Try resetting the Photos App close pictures completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the photo preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If that doesn't help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

  • iTunes downloads 12.2.2 iOS9.1 when you try to restore the iPhone with iOS9.3.1

I have the Macbook Air with 10.7.5, iTunes 12.2.2.25 and iPhone 4S iOS9.3.1

When I try to restore my iPhone, iTunes downloads iOS9.1 and fail to restore after awhile.

Can someone help me solve this problem?

iOS9 on a mobile device requires iTunes 12.3 or higher, which in turn requires a computer running OSX 10.8.5 or higher.  Update of the system only checks the updates for the current version of the system you run, but that itself can be updated.  It may or may not be possible to upgrade your computer to the system requirements. Find your computer on the web site of http://www.everymac.com model and near the bottom of the specification of the system section, he will tell what versions of the operating system, it is able to run. If you can not run a newer system, you will not be able to sync this phone to your current computer. If she can run 10.8.5 or higher, you can either buy a download for Apple OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion code online, or you can try to install the free El Capitan OSX 10.11.  El Capitan can run slower on older machines and require the additional purchase of RAM.  Making a big jump in versions of system is also more likely to affect the old software.

  • Many problems, try to restore the Iphone 7 - help!

I'll try to make a long story short:

I backed up my iPhone 6. It was a 128 GB, which took some time.

I have connected my iphone 7 (also a 128 GB) to iTunes. I got an error message that says something to not received data from the device. After a google search, I decided that I had to put my phone into recovery mode to restore the backup of the iphone 6. I did it. Then I got an another error message that says that I should update my iTunes. Updated my iTunes on my computer, I rebooted my computer and tried again. This time, he acted like it was going to work. My computer went through the lengthy process of installing the software and my new iphone restore 7. At the end of the restoration, I got a different error message saying that it was impossible to complete the restore.

Now my iphone 7 is stuck in this mode where everything he says is "data recovery cannot take place. "Restore to your iPhone, please backup." He won't do anything else. When I connect it to iTunes, it says "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a password. You must enter the password on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes. "However, when I push my iphone home button 7, enter the password and then check the password, I will just go back to the screen that says"data recovery cannot be completed... ". "and the error message remains on my iTunes.

I tried several times to get the iphone 7 in recovery mode, but I can't. I hold down the sleep and lower volume button, the Apple appears, I keep pressing the buttons, the Apple disappears, Apple appears again, I'm all in now the buttons, the Apple disappears and then nothing happens.

I got a phone call from Apple in the AM, but I'm really frustrated that I was stuck with a device $ 700 that I can't do ANYTHING with all day. No indication at all is appreciated.

Same old IPhone backup issues that have been around for years. This will be my last IPhone if I eventually return. My iPhone cannot be saved to icloud for some reason any and my iPhone 7 will not restore from iTunes backup. What a joke after so many years. ITunes has got to be the worst application ever created.
