"Unable to upgrade to Vista XP, error" unable to load manifest to C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\dlmanifests\errorreportingfaults-dl.man.

Original title: manifest errors in the log file of the installation after the upgrade to Windows XP Pro SP3 for Windows Vista Ultimate

I was looking for an answer to the following problem.   I tried to move from XP to Vista a few months ago, without success.   I thouhgt it might be a compatibility problem with my old ASUS motherboard, so I tried all of the suggestions. down to 2 GB of RAM to 3 GB, to remove all the necessary equipment before the upgrade, disable unnecessary hardware support in the BIOS, etc..

I just bought a new ASUS motherboard with their 890 chipset.   I tried the upgrade again, same thing: the upgrade runs without error, then starts at the restart to complete the installation.   He gets the Green and white Microsoft amimation loading and goes no further.

After reading a few peosts in this forum, I found my upgrade/install error logfile.   I found the following few lines below:

2010-10-11 12:14:34, error [0x0808ff] MIG COutOfProcPluginFactory::CreateInstance: m_currentHostSurrogate-> LoadDllServer (C:\$, WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\dlmanifests\Microsoft-Windows-IE-ESC\EscMigPlugin.dll, {196B9C00-9ECD-11DB-AF15-0014223890F3}, 0) failed, hr = [0x8007007f].

I guess he can't find a certain file he wants so that the upgrade can complete.

Scientists here know what I need to change?

Thank you.
