  I just checked https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage and it shows (for me) after I click the button Edit in the Security section. Two possibilities - 1) this is the bottom of the screen on my screen so I need to scroll down to see it and 2) If you scroll further down after clicking on the button Edit in the Security section, does show that the two-step verification is on?

  1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

  2. do you have security software installed on the computer?

  This would happen if the settimgs of security on the computer have been modified.

  I suggest that you reset the default security settings and check.

  To apply permissions to a file or a folder

  (a) right click on the file or folder and then click Properties.

  (b) click on the Security tab, and then click Edit.

  1. If you want to set permissions for a user who is not listed under group or user names, click Add, type the name of the user or group, click OK, select permissions and then click OK.

  2. to change or remove permissions for a user or an existing group, click the name of the user or group, select the permissions and then click OK.

• How can I change the folder under Folders options browse to open each folder in its own window?

  No matter how many times I select "Open each folder in the same window", the files still open in a separate window. So I then several windows open in order to view the other subfolders. Also when I select "File Types" tab and I see that the extension of the file types: (folder) and (folder), they both show (none), which I guess is OK.  So when I click on the "Advanced" tab area 'Actions' watch [find] and [open] with Open being the DEFAULT action. But for Edit or delete buttons are greyed out! So anything that can be changed is the default action is open or find it.

  I just want to be able to open and view the folders in the same window! Do you think I have to reinstall XP Home Edition, running around SP3?

• Can I import a folder under folders and complete at a time?

  I'm fairly new to LR and have TONS of files in a main folder on Vista.  These files have duplicate names, some have been taken with the digital camera of early gen as well as more recent files with my 40 d. But import each folder and subfolder 1 will both take 1 million years.  Here is basically what I want to do.

  (1) import all photos (probably about 6-8 thousand) at a time

  2) pass through these photos and mark thus get rid of the obviously crappy pictures that I'll never do anything with it, kill the dupes

  (3) tag Meta as much as I can

  4) export to a new foler

  All files are in jpg.  Day Memorial project well huh?

  Yes!

  First I place them in a single master folder, where you want your photos of LR to reside. The use of import in place, and "do not import duplicates" checked. This will make your job a little easier, hopefully.

• Features of Windows, under Security, should basic authentication be checked?

• rv180 has no RADIUS under security option

  We used RV180W devices and the security, there is an option to configure a RADIUS server (we use it to authenticate the IPSEC VPN with Active Directory connections).

  We have installed a RV180 (wireless) and it seems to be missing the RADIUS configuration options.  Documentation is not State of RADIUS is not supported on the RV180.  Indeed, it involves two models should support this feature (page1 under strong security).

  I applied the last (to date) version 1.0.4.14 without change.  On a whim, I checked some of the other RV180 we installed and found the RADIUS was missing in a RV180 with 1.0.3.10 firmware too, yet all versions of RV180W we made do.

  This is a firmware build feature that was "missed" and never caught or documentation does not reflect the features actually supported or has been deleted after the liberation (false advertising in my humble OPINION).

  I do not consider the RADIUS authentication an exclusive feature in wireless technology.

  Has anyone else encountered this problem?  RADIUS is supported on the RV180 and if so, how can I access these settings?

  With the support of Cisco, I confirmed that it is a feature not in the firmware RV180.

  Adding to the next version maybe not possible then Cisco opted replaced my unit with a RV180W that supports the RADIUS authentication (an offer I think).

  Cisco did not specify if the RADIUS feature will be added to the RV180 firmware (or not) in the future.  Thus, the documentation will be updated to reflect the current functionality or a future update can add this feature to the RV180.  My advice would be to check the most recent firmware release notes if you need this feature or get the RV180W instead if you consider the RV180.

  So far, my experience with the RV180W was satisfactory (although the web gui is slow sometimes).  I also used the RV110 and found the VPN settings exposed on that to be very limited in comparison.  I choose to use the vpn ipsec shrewsoft client with of the RV180W rather than the fast Cisco VPN client (which seems not to connect more than not).

• How to make folders to move messages in store them?

  I want to do a variety of issues such as: family; Friends; Stuff to keep; Orders; Travel Info... etc. to store the e-mails refer at the latest. I don't want to have to look through a thousand emails to find a certain email. Other e-mail programs have a column where you can make any number of folders next to the list of e-mail messages.

  Not sure why you clicked on a space under local folders. If you want a subfolder under folders local folders local right click and select new folder.

  When I right click in the empty space under local folders dialog box opens and says that it will create the new folder in my Inbox. Try reading the dialog box that opens. It tells you where the new folder will be created. There's even a drop down menu where you can choose the destination.

  Go to the BIOS by pressing F2.
  Then put the BIOS on the default settings, save the changes and power the laptop off.
  Then switch on the device and access to the BIOS, once more the key F2.

  According to my experience, secure boot option must be available, and you should be able to change the startup mode UEFI/CSM layout too.

  However, in another thread, the user gunsh were able to resolve this problem by restoring the original state of recovery disks. This somehow automatically restored the UEFI parameters

• SECURITY! "Intruder" on Telstra BigPond 4 G advanced II AirCard 790s

  I really wanted it to appear under the security, but the site led me here so if mods, you decide I'm in the wrong place, I tried.

  As stated, our family has a Netgear, BigPond wireless 4 G advanced II AirCard 790s hotspot.

  One day there, I noticed a unknown device in the page Manager online. Being alone and knowing that no other devices were, I did my normal thing - don't note the device ID, a not log to get its IP address or block - just freaked out and got the Internet. Later, I came home and waited to see if he joined, when I would snare its details and take things from there. He didn't reappear so far here.

  Oh dear! It's time to fess up.

  At the suggestion of my wife, I checked the bottom of a small device sitting on the TV.

  Could it be that? She asked. Today, very late in peace, I checked. The device is a WD TV Live Media Player Streaming. On his back, of course, is its product sheet - with its MAC number listed on it! The same number as the "intruder".

• Device and the user does not add security to the family account

  First post.

  Win8 running on a laptop. He was previously a partner in a family safety account, that I had put in place. I removed the unit and the user to try to resolve a problem with a web page. However, the account will now add the user or the device back to when clicking on many user form accounts for managing issues online.

  Family safety account is under my email address. laptop user is my child, who is defined as a child with a separate e-mail account. The security account for the family is still working and control another portable under win7 under a separate connection.

  Help!

  I managed to solve my problem.

  I created a new administrator account on the laptop under different parents email address.

  Logged in under that account, I was able to edit on behalf of a child who then it adds the new parental control under the new e-mail address of the parent.

  Only problem I have now is a child under a security account for the parental family and one under the other, but I can live with that...

• Impossible to install security software 1603,0, 0 x 000 errors

  For the last 3 weeks I tried to install Trend Micro Internet Security software. Initially the 1603 error is out of my attempt to upgrade my version 3.51 to the latest version 5. Software Trend Micro uninstalled my old version then threw a 1603 error when you try to install the latest version. I tried this site and had a broad Trend Micro remote support. The last attempt to remedy the situation failed after 2 1/2 hours of support away from the Hungary and about 5 trying to clean my registry windows and re install my deep security software. Their developers (Tren Micro) came to the conclusion that the fault lies with the installer of windows on my pc. Even if I ran sfc/scannow and no error was detected, I can't get any software security at all to install not only Trend Micro.

  As I mentioned briefly earlier that I did everything what to do in what concerns the cleanup of registry entries and temporary directories that is the first step to try to resolve these problems

  I need options. Windows reports under its security suite that Trend Micro is installed, but not in a format it recognizes. This is misleading and does not allow me to make one installs clean

  Any ideas?

  This is just to inform everyone that this problem has been resolved. Extended support Trend Micro resolved after suspending system restore facilities which I think affected the file access permissions. My security software is now installed, updated and working properly

• a critical security update problem

  Sunday, I searched until a later date on my calendar (under the clock) and forgot to get back to the current date.

  In the middle of the night my MSE updated, and it now shows the last date of update in the future.

  It shows the last update 8/31/2112

  Also, it is orange and will not allow the current update.

  I uninstalled it and re-installed but it always shows the last update is in the futre.

  How can you re - settle this?

  Download it again or if you kept the installer try this

  Disconnect from the Internet and uninstall it again

  Once uninstalled, remove all the files found in Program files

  The files are listed under Microsoft Security Client

  Then do a search by using the Client Security Microsoft, then Microsoft Security Essentials

  Delete all files found, attention do not remove your installer because it will also be seen

  Reinstall MSE and update

  Restart the computer in Safe Mode with network.

  Click Start > run > type inetcpl.cpl > click OK. In the Internet Options window, click the Connections tab > LAN Settings button. When the new window opens, place a check in the box auto detect settings and remove the box to use a Proxy. Click Ok and close the windows.

  Then, open your browser and return to this topic. Click HERE. Download Malwarebytes. Update Malwarebytes and perform a scan.  Choose to quarantine found nothing. Once completed click HERE and download Superantispyware Portable. A quick, analysis in quarantine found anything yet. Restart your computer in normal mode and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes.

• To enable IIS controll password in the IIS 5.1 Document Security tab?
