underlined text query

I use CS5 and CS. CS5, I presented the living text to be destructible, so the younger version must recognize all fonts.

I saved down to CS, opened in CS and the open dialog box saying that the police is not recognized then it replaced. Looking at the file, it appears exactly how it was created, underlined text. My question is why does do this but no font is really with the following. Should I save in EPS?

Edit: found the problem. When you select ALL, there is a small floating text live is invisible, then of course the saved class included everything. I'll be selecting ALL before a record for any version.

Are you sure that there are no text object in the file?

Probably hidden or just a text object is empty?

    Is there a quick way to apply a style of underlining of text in canvas mode?  Unfortunately animate for a reason (or lack thereof) does not support this text style.

    Why I need to underline text?  I use some text in my document as hyperlinks.  To distinguish them from ordinary text, I used a "BOLD" font, color.  But my client wants to blind people of color to be able to identify the text of the hyperlink.  It is a convention that is well known in web browsers and a simple and obvious solution.

    Everything I've seen so far is complex JavaScript to achieve this, and it does not work with multi-line text.  Apparently animate for a reason (or lack thereof) does not support CSS styles.

    I could draw a line under each word-, but I hope it doesn't come to that.

    Someone at - it a fix for this problem?

    The reason (or its absence) animate is not supported (or lack thereof) underlined text mode is because the API element canvas itself does not support the underlining of the canvas text. There is no explicit style parameter as in CSS. Bold and italic are available by directly specifying police bold and italic variants. It is rather primitive.

    The underline must always be the same color as the link unless you have written some custom CSS.

  • Conversion of underlined text of the word by using a script

    Hello

    When you place a Word document, I want to use a script to convert the text underlined italic character Style (which I have already created). Which should read the line of app.findGrepPreferences to find the underlined text?

    Thank you.

    It's as simple as that:

    app.findTextPreferences = app.changeTextPreferences = NothingEnum.nothing;
    app.findTextPreferences.underline = true;
    app.changeTextPreferences.appliedCharacterStyle = app.activeDocument.characterStyles.item("italic");
    app.changeTextPreferences.underline = false;

  • Text query including reserved keywords

    I'm trying to figure out how can I make sure that a text query defined user that can contain reserved keywords (for example ABOUT, WITHIN) ends up actually to look for these strings rather than having the applied special behavior. I tried different ways to escape then but nothing seems to work, or I do not understand why Oracle returns the value it returns. So here's a small example, I used to try to test this out:

    Drop index tbl_test_text_index;

    drop table tbl_test;

    create the table tbl_test (tid number, text clob);

    create index tbl_test_text_index on tbl_test (text) indextype is CTXSYS. CONTEXT PARAMETERS ('SYNC (EACH ' sysdate + (30 /(24*60*60)) "" ")');

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (1, 'Hi');

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (2, "hi2");

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (3, 'Salvation 2');

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (4, 'Hi no');

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (5, 'Hi new');

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (6, ' Hey back ");

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (7, 'Hi new');

    insert into tbl_test (tid, text) values (8, 'bye');

    Then I tried to create a search query that would eventually turn only the row with id 4 ' salvation not '.

    When I try

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text, 'Hi no') > 0;

    so of course, this operation fails because 'no' is a reserved keyword.

    When I try

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text,' ' salvation not "'" ") > 0;

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text, "Hi"not"") > 0;

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text, ' Hello {no} "") > 0;

    they all return all rows except the row 2 and 8.

    When I try

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text, ' Hi again "") > 0;

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text, "Hi" again"') > 0;

    Select * from tbl_test where contains (text, ' Hello {again} "") > 0;

    they all return just the two lines that I expect lines 5 and 7.

    The version of Oracle that I use is:

    Oracle Database 11 g Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64 bit Production

    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

    CORE 11.2.0.1.0 Production

    AMT for Linux: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

    NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

    I also tried the same thing on Oracle XE

    Oracle Database 11 g Express Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64 bit Production

    NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.2.0 - Production

    Why is this works is not as expected, i.e. only return lines with 'Hi' followed by 'not '? Is this a bug in Oracle?

    No, it's not a bug. 'no' is an empty word as a keyword, so is ignored when you search for it.

  • Can I move text highlighted for comments, but not underlined text?

    So I just upgraded to Acrobat Reader yesterday so I could take notes on books for school.  I discovered how to export comments from a PDF file to a new document using a JS and appreciated the help of the following:

    Get the comments in this document and sort by author

    1. this.syncAnnotScan ();

    Annots = this.getAnnots ({nSortBy: ANSB_Author});

    Open a new report

    var = new Rep Report();

    1. Rep.size = 1.2;
    2. Rep.Color = color.blue;

    If {(annots)

    1. rep.writeText ("" summary of comments: by author ' ");
    2. Rep.Color = color.black;
    3. rep.writeText("");
    4. rep.writeText ("number of comments:" + annots.length);
    5. rep.writeText("");

    var msg = ' \200 page % s: \"%s\" ";" "

    Acidulated annots = var [0] .author;

    1. rep.writeText (theAuthor);
    2. Rep.Indent (20);

    for (var i = 0; i < annots.length; i ++) {}

    {If (acidulated! = {annots [i] .author)}

    Acidulated annots [i] .author =;

    1. rep.writeText("");
    2. Rep.Outdent (20);
    3. rep.writeText (theAuthor);
    4. Rep.Indent (20);

    }

    1. () rep.writeText
    2. util.printf (msg, 1 + annots .page, annots [i] [i] .silence));

    }

    } else {}

    var msg = "no annotation not found in this document, %s.";

    1. rep.writeText (util.printf (msg, this.documentFileName));

    }

    Now, open the report

    docRep var = rep.open ("myreport.pdf");

    1. docRep.info.Title = ' comments for "+ this.docuentFileName;

    docRep.info.Subject = 'Comments ';

    What I am curious about, is if there is a way around having the text highlighted and underlined go instantly to comments.  It is possible to get one or the other to automatically enter comments that could save me a ton of time manually copy and make decisions as "is - this really interesting extra of the output file size."  These decisions really slow down my reading process.  Rigth now I exported pages of stuff, and even if I can get what I export it will become unmanageable.

    The only thing I can think of is to just copy things that I wanted to specifically exported to the comments and to do everything by hand so I don't end up with a too underlined text / stressed.

    (Also, and this one is not so important... y at - it a way to save the JS I used for all the PDF files I have?)  At this time I was just copy paste to every PDF I do.)

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

    The forums have mangled the script (which looks strangely familiar) but if you want to only list with a specific type annotations, add a new line between these two:

    for (var i = 0; i)< annots.length;="" i++)="">

    If (annots [i] .Guy == "Highlight") {}

    {If (acidulated! = {annots [i] .author)}

    and to add an another brace at the end

    }}

    } else {}

    'type' has several strings defined, all documented in the software development kit. You would be using "Highlight" or "Stressed" to filter.

    If you want to run the script several times, you can put it in Action (by using the step "run a JavaScript"). Don't forget that you cannot run against multiple files at the same time that reports are not registered, then set the properties of the Action to apply only to the currently open document.

  • Change the spacing of underlined text?

    If I want to emphasize text with CSS, I can controll until below the underline text appears?

    Thank you

    Hello

    If it is not possible to control where the underscore is placed as defined by the manufacturer of the browser, it is possible to use border-bottom rule of css to simulate a line of underscores, and if used with margin-bottom/padding-bottom correct rules, custom positioning of underscore may give a more professional look to your text/link underlined.

  • For image in underlined text clipping mask

    WellnessWorkplace.jpg

    Mac G5 Mac OSX CS4 - I'm creating a Visual for a website and I have an image I want to insert in the specified words "wellnessworkplace", but the image does not appear when the clipping mask is applied. I realize that it must be the result of multiple paths of the text but I remember that I used to be able to do this in CS2. For the moment, I made a form of Pathfinder composed the word on a gray rectangle lite and the image is located below to get the effect, but this has drawbacks and I prefer to use a clipping mask.

    I am under CS3 and never really noticed this before, maybe CS4 is the same. The only way I could get the clipping mask to work is to select the underlined text, go to object > compound path > make. Select the entire document, and then create the clipping mask (make sure that the text is on top).

In this way, the line is a character. What is the shortcut for this?

  • Full-text query performance

    Consider a table (textable) with at least 2 fields.
    1 field docid is long and is indexed. It is not unique.
    Textclob field 2 is a Clob and contains text.

    Queries

    Select * from textable where contains (textclob, "DOG") > 0;

    and

    Select * from textable where docid = 12345 and contains (textclob, "DOG") > 0;

    both take the same time to run even if first of all to limit the query to the docid relevatn will reduce the necessary lines text search
    by orders of magnitude

    How to evaluate the docid where before you start searching for the query text

    You cannot create an index on a long data type, so I don't know what makes you think that the long column is indexed. Long columns are deprecated. For most of the things the long columns were used for, you must now use a clob column instead. For a digital ID column, you must use a number data type, which can then indexed. You must have current statistics so that the optimizer to choose the best execution plan. You can use dbms_stats.gather_table_stats to obtain these statistics, after having inserted your data and created your index. It is possible to use views inline and the index indicators, etc. to influence the optimizer, but generally the optimizer knows best.

    In the example below, I made the docid one column type data number, inserted enough data for testing, created the index on two columns, allowing you to collect statistics, set the timing and autotrace on dbms_stats.gather_table_stats, ran both queries and the second ran faster, query using the index on the docid column first then the index on the textclob column.

    You need not use the underscore for this feature. You can apply
    Leader points to tabs, it is a system much better. Also make sure that you are
    using the decimal tab when price lists.
