  Mac G5 Mac OSX CS4 - I'm creating a Visual for a website and I have an image I want to insert in the specified words "wellnessworkplace", but the image does not appear when the clipping mask is applied. I realize that it must be the result of multiple paths of the text but I remember that I used to be able to do this in CS2. For the moment, I made a form of Pathfinder composed the word on a gray rectangle lite and the image is located below to get the effect, but this has drawbacks and I prefer to use a clipping mask.

  I am under CS3 and never really noticed this before, maybe CS4 is the same. The only way I could get the clipping mask to work is to select the underlined text, go to object > compound path > make. Select the entire document, and then create the clipping mask (make sure that the text is on top).

• Underline text in canvas?

  Is there a quick way to apply a style of underlining of text in canvas mode?  Unfortunately animate for a reason (or lack thereof) does not support this text style.

  Why I need to underline text?  I use some text in my document as hyperlinks.  To distinguish them from ordinary text, I used a "BOLD" font, color.  But my client wants to blind people of color to be able to identify the text of the hyperlink.  It is a convention that is well known in web browsers and a simple and obvious solution.

  Everything I've seen so far is complex JavaScript to achieve this, and it does not work with multi-line text.  Apparently animate for a reason (or lack thereof) does not support CSS styles.

  I could draw a line under each word-, but I hope it doesn't come to that.

  Someone at - it a fix for this problem?

  The reason (or its absence) animate is not supported (or lack thereof) underlined text mode is because the API element canvas itself does not support the underlining of the canvas text. There is no explicit style parameter as in CSS. Bold and italic are available by directly specifying police bold and italic variants. It is rather primitive.

  I have a problem that I need help with problems; It could be a bug.  I'm having this problem on all my pages!  I have a text that I converted to be a link, and I've changed this text to be red, and it is pointed out.  When I preview the web page with the text of the red link, it's still red, but the color of the underline of the changes; It is usually blue or violet.  If I close the preview and return to the edit page, the text and underlining are both red again.  Also, if I highlight the red text and open the States Panel, then it is said that you can not change the States of the text, but I think that the underline text IS affected by the States.

  The underline must always be the same color as the link unless you have written some custom CSS.

  I use CS5 and CS. CS5, I presented the living text to be destructible, so the younger version must recognize all fonts.

  I saved down to CS, opened in CS and the open dialog box saying that the police is not recognized then it replaced. Looking at the file, it appears exactly how it was created, underlined text. My question is why does do this but no font is really with the following. Should I save in EPS?

  Edit: found the problem. When you select ALL, there is a small floating text live is invisible, then of course the saved class included everything. I'll be selecting ALL before a record for any version.

  Are you sure that there are no text object in the file?

  Probably hidden or just a text object is empty?

  What I am curious about, is if there is a way around having the text highlighted and underlined go instantly to comments.  It is possible to get one or the other to automatically enter comments that could save me a ton of time manually copy and make decisions as "is - this really interesting extra of the output file size."  These decisions really slow down my reading process.  Rigth now I exported pages of stuff, and even if I can get what I export it will become unmanageable.

  The only thing I can think of is to just copy things that I wanted to specifically exported to the comments and to do everything by hand so I don't end up with a too underlined text / stressed.

  (Also, and this one is not so important... y at - it a way to save the JS I used for all the PDF files I have?)  At this time I was just copy paste to every PDF I do.)

  The forums have mangled the script (which looks strangely familiar) but if you want to only list with a specific type annotations, add a new line between these two:

  'type' has several strings defined, all documented in the software development kit. You would be using "Highlight" or "Stressed" to filter.

  If you want to run the script several times, you can put it in Action (by using the step "run a JavaScript"). Don't forget that you cannot run against multiple files at the same time that reports are not registered, then set the properties of the Action to apply only to the currently open document.

  If it is not possible to control where the underscore is placed as defined by the manufacturer of the browser, it is possible to use border-bottom rule of css to simulate a line of underscores, and if used with margin-bottom/padding-bottom correct rules, custom positioning of underscore may give a more professional look to your text/link underlined.

  The beauty of the Adobe programs, is that they work well together. You could easily import an After effects composition into Premiere Pro. After Effects has an effect called typewriter effect.

  First, you would have to create this effect.

  Create your title, choose "title" in the menu > new title

  Type what you want and close the window of the title. Your title will appear on your left in the project window. Drag title to the timeline, and then click it. It will appear in the source window.

  Go to the effects (window on the left):

  Effects > video effects > transitional > linear Wipe

  Capture the effect and drag and drop it to your title in the source window

  Tap the small arrow to the left of "Wipe" linear The options of the applied effect.

  Tap the small arrow to the left of "Wipe Angle" and change the degree to 270.

  Tap the small arrow to the left of "completion of the Transition. A slider will appear.

  Try to move to the right and to the left. Note that the text gradually appears and disappears. Take it to the extreme right, so that the text disappears. Now press the toggle animation that is the form of the clock to the left of "completion of the transition. Now you start to use keyframes to animate. Move the playhead to time that which the first letter to appear. Tap on the "Add / or remove keyframe button" and move a picture to the right with the right arrow key press. Move the slider "completion of the transition" to make the first letter appear completely. Move the playhead to time that which the second letter to appear. Tap on the "Add / or remove keyframe button" and move a picture to the right with the right arrow key press. Move the slider "completion of the transition" until the second letter is seen completely. Repeat until all your text is animated in this way.

  I have a custom firefox extension that captures data on the Clipboard, as well as a selected text in the document in firefox. It is, whenever I select the text, it replaces the data in the Clipboard with the data of selected text. The Clipboard is always mirroring my text selection. I need to turn it off. Alternatively, make sure that the selected text gets sent to primary Clipboard, while firefox extension accesses Clipboard. (I guess that nsIClipboard retrieves data from the Clipboard vs primary school-press-papers).

  I am convinced that selected text is poured in the Clipboard and not the primary Clipboard. Selected text always overrides everything I copied using Ctrl + C command. Central to the mouse click or Ctrl + V out same thing.

  I have changed the default setting in about:config to clipboard.autocopy value= false. I have restarted my system and selected text still saves to clipboard.  This issue does show up on this thread here https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=854565. But it is checked as solved. Apologies if this question should have been posted there. I am using Linux Mint 17, Firefox 32.0.3

  I solved the problem. Firstly, I've updated all my software, which had no effect. Then I realized that another extension can add this feature. And voila! I'm sure that search the fastest was the culprit. I disabled the addon, even though this feature can probably be disabled.

  I hope this helps future users who face this same problem.

• I lose effect of glass to Ai when I resize the vector

  When I created the vector, I added the glass distortion effect. Now I need to resize a plu vector, I will lose it; as it has no effect at all.
  I tried creating bigger from the beginning and then add the effect, but it's not the same.

  

  Left one is the vector, right is when I resize to a bigger.

  This is a limitation of all the effects of pixel. You must change the settings for the filter in the appearance palette it coincide with the release of your largest.

• Effect of scrolling text box does not

  I am designing a Web site that uses scroll opacity effects and there is a text box that I've created to fade at the bottom of the page when the user scrolls. However, although this effect worked well yesterday, it stopped today, the text box is simply invisible. (screenshot below). The strange thing is the price is also a text box using exactly the same effects of opacity still scroll which seems in good condition. I will note that the area of text without appearance was originally a block of text related to the use of system fonts, which has since been converted to web fonts. Please can anyone provide any assistance or advice to solve this problem?

  

  Thanks for your reply. The problem occurred again even after a new text box has been created, but after several tries it now seems to work again.
