Understand the attributes, entities and regions AK...

Hello...

I am looking for a document that explains the attributes AK, entities and regions. I worked in the past with iSupport. Before this commitment, I have request for the installation service models, the types of request, problem codes and mappings, type mappings of responsibility, content and responsibility mappings, by default and mandatory content, etc. However, it is necessary to change the region mappings page and parts of the AK. "Change" means no 'customize' in this case. We want to exploit the feature planted to show and hide fields, display popups, etc..

I have the responsibility of Forms Html Ak and starting to get an idea of what capablilities are available. However, I am still not completely how these elements fit together. Also, I have experimented with unchecking a display field but did not see the change reflected in the page after closing and return to the it. Is there a process (such as a simultaneous program) that must be run before the change can be seen?

I read iSupport Oracle application and User Guide, but it does not explain AK attributes, entities, regions and how they relate to each other.

(We're 11.5.10 shop.)

If anyone knows a good document or note, it would be appreciated.

James

Hello

Can you tell me how to identify my ATG ORS level?

Run the query in (Note: 390864.1 - how to check what patchsets Techstack were applied to 11i or R12?), it should tell you what ATG OR level you are on.

Kind regards
Hussein

• I don't understand the different readers and how to use them.

Original, I got a partioned C: / for the OS and video. After talking to you guys, I found out that was a big no no.

So, I installed two additional internal HDD. C:/OS now only new D:/work place new F:/video storage.

I also have an external HARD drive upward used excessively for the video.

I have another drive external HARD, backup documents and other things on the C: drive.

My question is that my D: drive is 3/4 full. I don't know what it means to use as a work space only.

Is it as simple as delete everything on D: / after that I sent a copy to my readers of storage?

Then just copy a return project in D: /? Send a copy to storage, and then delete it on D: /?

I am very afraid to delete all video files. I don't want to lose them.

If I'm missing something please let me know.

Thanks Jim

Go to the Explorer. Look for *. CFA on your D drive. Select all and delete. Repeat this for *. PEK. Then go to the directory of Adobe Premiere Pro preview files and remove the complete directory in this directory. It will end with. Safety valve in the directory name. Then go to the PR and select Edit/Preferences/Media and clean the media Cache. Then save all the remaining files to your disk storage and clean up afterwards, the rest of your D drive by deleting everything that is no longer necessary.

• Force an order in which LOV or the attribute must be filled.

Experts in the morning,

I have a case, I LOV 5 attributes, I have them set up so that each list in the menu dropdown is dependent on what is selected in the attribute above it, for example, if you select the attribute top of 'Region' in Europe, you will see no country in Europe to the LOV below him.

What I need to do, is make sure that the second attribute and attributes of 4th and 5th 3rd later cannot be selected until the respective attribute above it has been filled.

If the 2 attribute cannot be filled unless attribute 1 has been selected.

Attribute 3 cannot be filled unless the attribute 2 has been selected and so on...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Jamie.

Jamie, tell us your version of jdev, please!

Each of the LOV components store their value in storage represented by the value property. If nothing is selected, the value must be null or empty. If a value is selected (and autosubmit is true) value is not empty. You can use this information to disable subsequent LOV on the page by assigning has disabled the property to an EL as disabled = ' #{empty bindings.myLov1.inputValue) ' where myLov1 the storage of your LOV. This you can do it in any depth.

• Change the Type of the attribute at the request of the View object

Hi all

I use JDeveloper 11.1.1.6. I am trying to achieve the following problem.

My Table has a column of type VARCHAR2, but this field is to store, say, displayed in canonical format "YYYY/MM/DD hh '. I want to show the date in a nice format, as October 30, 12 ' and be able to use the datePicker adf (date. MinValue) on the attribute.

So I created an entity object, and I changed the type of the attribute of Date String.

I also created a ViewObject and the test on request module retrieves a date but seems to not understand the canonical format and date it recovers is wrong (something like 5049-02-20 12:45:30.45).

Since then, I work on EBS I oracle API access and so on, so I changed my query View object;

SELECT St St myEO.ExpiryDate-> FND_DATE.canonical_to_date (myEO.ExpiryDate) SELECT as displayed in St St. (FND_DATE.canonical_to_date would be the same thing as to_date (date, format))

When I run AppModule, NICE! It works, it retrieves the date without time and if simple format to give the attribute I can even get the format I wanted.

The problem is that when I try to update and validate changes to DB, (I replace the doDML so I can analyze my Date to a string with the format YYYY/MM/DD hh: mm: as is supposed to be) I can't even the part update. Complains in the framework;

Invalid state, another user has changed the line and blah blah blah and the problem is here:

(oracle.jbo.RowInconsistentException) Houston-25014: another user has modified the line containing oracle.jbo.Key [592674 primary key].

[178] compare entity did not attribute display
[179] original value: 2013-06-28 (that I ran with my FND_DATE.) Procedure CANONICAL_TO_DATE)
[180] target value: 5048-02-21 22:47:53.0 (I guess that the automatic distribution or conversion of the original string)
OracleSQLBuilder [181]: ROLLBACK WORK point registration "BO_SP".
[182] DCBindingContainer.reportException: oracle.jbo.RowInconsistentException

Any suggestion? I'd really appreciate it.

Edited by: Alejandro T. Lanz on 1st November 2012 06:34

Well, in short :):
When you try to update the line, frame checks the data in db and cached (from the entity object) value is different from the db value (because you Date and String objects), so that it will throw oracle.jbo.RowInconsistentException exception.

• How to hide the attributes of the OAM Board?

Hello

We have a requirement to update some of the attrributes configured in panels (PPP using plugin) to OAM. We want to hide the attributes to modify Profile Page. How to get there? Anypointers on this is appreciated.

Thank you inadvance.

Srikanth

Hi Srikanth,

In the Access Control attribute, you do the attributes oblockouttime and obresponsetimeout visible only by the account that runs the IDXML (which is not necessarily the same account issuing the IDXML command) then they will appear to someone else when displaying the user profile - but they do need to be added to the Panel in the Configuration of the User Manager. I think that should meet your requirement, if I understand.

As a matter of interest, how you build your custom plugin (I guess that this issues the IDXML)? You use the identity events API?

• Restrict access to the IP address and the Application

Hello

I have a problem with the application of database access. I want to limit the users using Toad. I want users to use only their application, not of Toad. But as a s/n, I still need Toad. I do like this limitation?

CMIIW.

Thank you and best regards,

Wiwin, ST, OCP.

Wiwin,

If you want to try to make decisions about access based on the application used to establish the connection, you can look into some of the attributes sys_context and see if there is something that could work. However, there is no guarantee that a given attribute is populated and precise. And, as Andy, it would be possible for a user to usurp a request for his client if he can change the name of the executable file, or even to change the attributes with the DBMS_APPLICATION_INFO package or OIC.

Here's a query that can help you research how a tool or a given application is filling these attributes. First connection with the tool you want to analyze, for example, TOAD. Then, run this query. It covers two sys_context attributes that I will be dedicated to implement an application 'fingerprint': MODULE and CLIENT_INFO. If this does not work, you can try substituting one or several other attributes listed under the function description SYS_CONTEXT in the SQL reference manual .

Select

"CLIENT_INFO: ' | '. "sys_context (' USERENV', 'CLIENT_INFO' ') |

MODULE: '. sys_context (' USERENV', 'MODULE' ') "SYS_CONTEXT Data".

Double;

If you find a 'fingerprint' that you think that you can use, you can try that integrate your logon trigger. However, I would exercise extreme caution due to aforementioned unreliability of these attributes. Do a lot of testing! Or better yet, try the recommendation of Andrew; It cannot take more time to use the application role he suggests that it would for enough to code and test a change of logon trigger, and it makes a better job of dealing with the risks.

• How to access the attributes of VO through binding...

I have a lookup table that has 2 columns namely encode and attrib.

I created a ViewObject with SQL like:

SELECT THE CODE, REFER TO THE STUDY_TYPE_CODES

And he stated in an Application Module.

Now I want to post it to the end-user as part of a selection
that should show REFER to but returns the value CODE.

I want to iterate the elements and generating the choices myself.

"< af:selectItem value =" #{row.code} "label =" #{row.describ} "id ="si3"/ >

< / af:forEach >

< / af:selectOneChoice >

It gives an error. Looks like how I use
"#{row.code}" or "#{row.describ} ' is false.  If I ' # {line} "then
It's OK, and I could see that the line is a

ViewRow [oracle.job.Key []]

But I do not know how to access attributes by name 'Code' and ' means ".". " I also tried
"#{rank." Code}"with the capital and it does not work.

• Code that delays the display of a region

What is the best way to delay display appearance of a region from 3 to 5 seconds on a page load?

Depends on why you want to delay display.
The easiest option is to define the attribute in that region (style) for * 'hidden' * so that it does not appear when the page is loaded. Then, write an onload (plain JS or Jquery) event that starts a timer within the required time.
The programmer, call a JS function that will be * 'show' * the region.

• get the value of the attribute of Advanced Table & set

Hello

I am a beginner in the OPS, that's why your help is very appreciated. _

Can one advice me please how I can get and set values for the attributes in Advanced Tabel.

I have an advanced array (dtls_advance_tbl) that contains 5 columns and I want to get the value of the attribute (class_1) and change the value of the attribute (class_1_image) on this basis.

Please advice the code and what class / method I have to write it (I mean it is in the controller / VOImpl)?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards... Ashraf

No ok ok, so no need to go to rowreference or PPR.

change the code below and the writeh in the PR of the extended controller method

OAViewObject vo = (OAViewObject) getEmployeeSummaryVO1 ();
Line EmployeeSummaryVORowImpl = null;

This tells us the number of lines that were recovered in the
Rowing together and away the extra lines as some of the
other methods 'get County '.

int fetchedRowCount = vo.getFetchedRowCount ();

We use a separate iterator - even if we could scroll the
the lines without it - because we do not want to influence the currency of the line.

RowSetIterator deleteIter = vo.createRowSetIterator("deleteIter");

If (fetchedRowCount > 0)
{
deleteIter.setRangeStart (0);
deleteIter.setRangeSize (fetchedRowCount);

for (int i = 0; i)< fetchedrowcount;="">
{
line = (EmployeeSummaryVORowImpl) deleteIter.getRowAtRangeIndex (i);

For performance reasons, we generate ViewRowImpls for all
Objects in view. When we need to get an attribute value,
We use the accessors appointed instead of a generic string search.

Number primaryKey = (Number) row.getAttribute ("EmployeeId"); / / Get two rows here at a time when you want to compare

Number primaryKey = row.getEmployeeId ();

If (make the comaprison here)
{
write your logic here
break; only one selected line in this case
}
}
}

deleteIter.closeRowSetIterator ();

• get the attributes NAME / VALUE of a XML

I love this forum :)

I load a XML one fill a tree, where I started to drag items.
the XML looks like this:
< myTag attrName = "attrValue" otherAttrName = "otherAttrValue" / >

var ds:DragSource = event.dragSource;
var var1:String =(event.dragInitiator as Tree).value.@attrName;
-> the variable var1 is now: "attrValue".

My question is... How can I get the names of all attributes? in this example: attrName and otherAttrName (assume that I don't know the structure of this xml node)
What attribute values?
Thank you!

The snippet below takes a node xml (nodeCur), made a loop through the list of attributes and built a table that contains the attribute name and value of each attribute. It is a sample application that allows you to edit an xml file.
I'm sorry that the forum will remove formatting

var aDPAttributes:Array = new Array();
var xlAttributes:XMLList = nodeCur.@*;
var: attribute;
for (var i: int = 0; i< xlattributes.length();="" i++)="">
aDPAttributes.push ({name: xlAttributes [i] .name (), value: xlAttributes [i]});
}
dgAttributes.dataProvider = aDPAttributes; Set the sheet dataProvider property

• Force evaluation of the rules for the non-existent entities and unknown attributes...

Hi all

I have another issue potentially easy for the gurus of the OPA in this forum - there must be a simple explanation to this question but I'm just not see it.

The problem that I am having with several of my rules, it's that the conclusion is not evaluated due to the non-existent entity instances or unknown entity attributes. As an example of the first scenario, I have a rule that checks for the existence of an instance of an entity with a type and status. The conclusion is evaluated as if there is at least an instance of this entity, otherwise, the conclusion remains unknown.

Similarly, I wrote an equation to annualize all its (financial) obligations in a case, where the frequency of the obligation can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.. I created an attribute for each type of frequency, which are then added to the equation. The issue in this example, is that the equation does not conclude if there is not a value for each attribute in the equation. For example, if:

assign 1 = A + B + C

where A = 1, B = 2 and C is unknown, does not examine the attribute from 1 to 3, but will remain unknown. Logically, I expect that the lack of a digital defaults to 0, and rather unknown attribute value, but this is not the case.

I looked at the 'Certain and known operator rule examples' help topic to try to understand how assign a value to an unknown attribute, but the example at the bottom of the topic page does not provide a sufficient explanation as to how the logic:

point of the total team = team 1 round points + points of the round 2 team + team of turn 3 points

the team of the round 1 points = 0 if
Round 1 team points (such as recorded by the team) is unknown

the team from round 2 points = 0 if
etc.

It seems from the example that there are 2 attributes used to the same variable: [team of the Tower, 1 points] and [team of the round 1 points (such as recorded by the team)]. It is not clear to me how the original equation can be concluded if the values are stored in the alternate attribute [points of the round 1 team (such as recorded by the team)] etc.

I have also considered using fragments of rule by the help topic "Prove an attribute using multiple rules", while I could use two equations separated to set the value of an attribute according to the circumstances, that is to say:

assign 1 = A + B + C

1 = 0 if attribute
attribute 1 is unknown

This attempt results in a logic loop error, probably because I am trying to set the value of an attribute based on the same attribute value.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Philippe

Hi Philippe,.

I suggest the following way to solve this problem, although there are other ways too.
You can use a table of rules for it.

Open a Working Document, and then press 'Alt + Z' created a rules table.

Use the following rule: -.
Keep the text in bold in the left-hand column and the text in italics as a condition for the title in the right column. Use a correct indentation during the compilation of the rules.

-------------------------------------------
Attribute 1
-------------------------------------------
*0*     any
A is unknown or

Uncertain East
and
any
B is unknown or
B is uncertain
and
any
C is unknown or
C is uncertain
----------------------------------------------
Has any
B is unknown or
B is uncertain
and
any
C is unknown or
C is uncertain
----------------------------------------------
A + B C is unknown or
C is uncertain
-----------------------------------------------
A+B+C in the opposite case

Thank you

• Data modeling for a small database tutorial - understand the part 'Creating relationships between entities'

I'm trying to understand and make use of Tutorial: modeling of data for a small database

In this tutorial, I'm supposed to make Entity Transactions containing two attributes that designates the bosses (patron_id) and Books (book_id) (2.1.4) entities

Later, I add two one-to-many relationships that attributes mentioned twice in the entity of Transactions (patron_id1 and book_id1). (2.1.5)
