Uninstall Java from Windows Vista

Original title: Java

I have Windows Vista Home Premium. I was told to get rid of Java. Have tried, I am uncomfortable to do so. There are three different entries for java. I don't know whether to uninstall each individually or choose one and the others will follow.

When I try to uninstall java I get a message that it could be dangerous, because of the software publisher's certificate is not recognized. What should I do?

Jerry.

HI Milton,

Thanks again for the response.

I want to suggest to follow the steps here in the link. Put the computer to boot and then try to uninstall Java.

Place the computer in a clean boot state, then check if it helps. You can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to perform a clean boot for a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8

Note: please go through the section: How to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair by clean boot of article to start the computer to a normal startup after you fix the problem.

After you clean boot the computer, and then open the link given here and then uninstall Java.
