Uninstall Windows Live Mail

Was having trouble with my email account, so I thought I would uninstall and reinstall my windows live mail program. I don't think that it completely uninstalled sound "self and he's definitely not reinstall as it should." Any ideas? Equipped with Vista

It's unsettling.
Would you care to try UN-installing again through programs and features.
Or is Windows Live Essentials still listed there?

Original title: I hate the last email and want to go back to Live Mail.

Really, I hate the new Live Mail (with Live Essentials, or whatever it's called) and want to return to the regular Live Mail that came with my Vista.  (I prefer to Outlook Express, but at least to are familiar with Live Mail. I'm afraid to uninstall, however, because I fear that I will lose all my email if I do.  I tried to do a system restore, but it will not change that.  How can I restore Live Mail and to get rid of this new version which is related to Hotmail?

We are the ones making guess! You have uninstalled Windows Live Mail, or even all of the Windows Live Essentials programs. This will not affect your user data (such as messages, calendars, and contacts). Is expected uninstall Word to remove all .doc files, would you?

Please visit Ronnie gave two years ago and reinstall Windows Essentials. When it has finished installing, you should see all your old accounts, messages, calendars and contacts.

  • Pavilion HPE Elite 150ff: error message on windows live mail

I have 1 email account which works fine, but when I try to enter a different e-mail account, even if it is configured correctly, I get an error message code 800cc0f, I'm not a grumpy if don't want not to mess with the registry, this office has 8 GB of ram and a 1 terabite HD and almost nothing on it except for a couple of videos no music or images, but every time I try to download the necessary files for this new e-mail account, I get this error message.

I did a certain rate of recovery by using the discs purchased from HP, I have Norton installed and also have Malware Bytes Anti Malware coming to clean up so no malware or viruses. Everything that I do is check my email and write my own recipes so enough on it to use my disk space or memory, but I can't get the address of an e-mail to work. I contacted my ISP server and they checked to make sure that I had configured it right and they suggested to uninstall windows live mail and reinstall what I did several times as well as recoveries from the factory

Any ideas on how to fix the Please this problem, I'd appreciate it.

MIcrosoft has taken a decision on Windows Live Mail (WLM).  Last night I suffered, once again. I thought that my advice was useful, but I'm also trapped me.  As I have 5 computers with WLM, whenever I change the password on 1 machine, it cripples the other 4. Looks like Microsoft has a plan? only 1 machine? It's maybe just me opening WLM on other machines, trying to work around their decision.

    (1) it made me 3 times to call manager automatic password change my password because I have treid open WLM.   It retains all the passwords you have used, so I have to choose a new password. I can ALWAYS use a previous password.

    (2) forced me to change my Messaging Manager in OUTLOOK.   This isn't like WLM. He also forced advertising as a sidebar to the right.

    (3) now I hate Outlook. I mentally joined the millions he hate too.

    (4) now, I have to have 2 different e-mail managers, (Outlook and Cox.net) just to get all my mail.

  • Sorry, something unexpected has occurred and Windows Live Mail should close.

I started having this message this morning on my XP machine.  I ran a registry cleaner.  Uninstalled Windows Live Mail, re-directed the registry cleaner, then reinstalled Windows Live Mail and still get the same message.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is Windows 7 64 bit...

I installed wlme and since the beginning, I received the message

"Sorry, something unexpected happened and Windows Live Mail should close."

I found the problem was a character from my username, I used the alt 0160 for an essay to white, and that's the problem for me...

  • Windows live mail will no longer allow an attachment to send

Started having problems with sending attachments with windows live mail.  It started 2 days ago. We have windows XP, I can send an attachment by hotmail and also by windstream.net, but not by windows live mail.  All solutions?  What will happen if I uninstall windows live mail, and then re - install.  I would lose all my e-mail if I did?  Spent 2 days looking for an answer to this.  As far as I know, nothing changed in the last days.  I sent attachments via windows live mail for years.

Thanks anyway, but I have advanced and removed and reinstalled windows live mail.  everything seems to work now.

  • You want to CANCEL Windows Live Mail Initiation and remove it from my computer.

Start Windows Live Mail to see what 'new' services it was available.  She TOOK over MY COMPUTER, copied/converted all my e-mail folders to in its files and formats. (Fortunately it seems to have left my files of such ordinary Windows Messaging what.)  I don't see anything new he worth having, format is less than plain Windows Mail - more spread out, more junk to eliminate through to get to what I need.

I so WANT to CANCEL THE 'CONVERSION', REMOVE THE (duplicate SPACE GASPILLER) FILES IT CREATED AND THEN REMOVE ALL TRACES OF WINDOWS LIVE (all THE COMPONENTS) OF MY COMPUTER.  HOW CAN I DO THIS WITHOUT > WITHOUT< damaging="" my="" original="" plain="" windows="" mail="" folders,="" emails,="" contacts,="" accounts="" etc.="">

To uninstall Windows Live Mail (WLM)...
Start button > Control Panel > Classic view > Porgrams and features (or Add and Remove) > scroll to find Mindows Live Essentials, right-click, click UNINSTALL > follow the instructions from there.

    Note: you can check if
1.) your contact lists are the same in WLM and WM. If this isn't the case, you will need to save it in csv.
2.) you want to keep the WLM email messages. (If you "leave a copy of messages on the server" turned on, so you have no question there).

If you like and you don't know how, please post back.

    Summary of the issue
I can't open Windows Live Mail

What version of Windows Live Mail do you use?
    Version 2011 (15.4.3508.1109)

    Additional details

When WindowsLive Mail opens, it enters a State "Not responding" immediately. The only button that accepts the interaction is 'Close' or 'X '. • How can I reinstall WLDCore.dll so my Windows Live Mail will work

I uninstalled Windows Essetials so I could reinstall to fix some problems.  I reinstalled and got an error message "WLDCore.cll" and Windows Live Mail will not

function without it.  I can't uninstall Essentials because the resettlement has not worked... Now, I have NO email...

I think I want to use system restore to go back before that happened.  I don't know if this you will get out of the woods or not because the system restore does not reinstall programs, but it's worth a try.  During the uninstallation of the components of Windows Live Essentials, there are options to simply install specific parts of it.  I would avoid uninstalling Windows Live Mail if I could because this program is rather eccentric without sleeping with her.  It's a bit like the old expression "let a sleeping dog"!

I did a Google search for WLDcore.DLL and got a lot of success, but none of the sites that I recognized.  If all else fails, you can try some of them, but I would like to back up data that I wanted to save before doing so.

    Good luck.
