Uninstalling a theme

I installed a theme to a Web site that sony posted in twitter, now I want to uninstall it, but I don't know how

Settings - applications and swipe everything then look for and open the said theme then press on uninstall top-right

    I installed a custom to my windows theme pack. I rebooted it and tried to open a session, but it instanty goes back to the logon screen. I eventually uninstalled the theme and now there is no login account to connect to. I tried the mode without failure and everything, but to no avail. I looked everywhere to find a cure, but nothing helped. Then... of ideas

    Still, I can't connect to the computer to do anything at all.

    Here are two additional methods to call for the restoration of the system:

    1. Keep tapping F8 during the first phase of startup.
    2. Select Repair from the menu.
    3. Select an administrator account, and then enter its password.
    4. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    5. Configure Windows to a point before this problem occurred.
    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before the problem occurred.
    And if you do not have a repair CD Windows (which is absolutely essential for those who have chosen to do their own maintenance rather than having served machine):
    • Burn it on another computer.

    Currently, I use firefox 21 and like the way it looks, but I tried to download firefox 39 and restorer of classic theme to see if I could get 39 to look like 21. I couldn't get it to look the same, so I deleted firefox 39, but firefox 21 now has this bar downstairs. When I click the x nothing happens.

    I have redownloaded firefox 39 uninstall Classic theme restaurant and bar is now missing. Thanks for the help and quick responses.

  • Can not see clearly the content of the area from the top of the window of Firefox (Mac) because of the colorful background. How to make it solid (gray, for example)

    On my desktop Mac, the edges of window and the border are gray. On my laptop, there is a background sky blue - as in the top of the window of Firefox and a translucent version of the same through the bar where web addresses are registered and the search criteria. I have a very hard time to see the superior information because of this. I want a background gray (or white) standard. I can't find any Mac preferences or preferences of Firefox that address this issue.

    My Macbook Pro has been constantly been too slow in terms of open any application, open any file and graphics intensive anything running.     After removing these programs using the procedures to uninstall for them and do not do just a drag & drop them into the trash. All programs of the pieces themselves everywhere in the OS on your Mac and the only way to get rid of all the crud is to use the uninstall procedure.

    Once you do this, please run another report from EtreCheck and post it here. So that we can be sure that it is not something that we've missed.

    Need to reinstall all the software for non-native Mac (OS 10.9.1) at a MacBookPro 2009 vintage, I had installed Firefox v. 27. As I tried to connect to the web links (which many were not problematic), I started gradually to meet the pages that would never load. Then I got a similar behavior with URL entered manually (only some; gradually more frequent). I had installed some standard modules of privacy, but I uninstalled then them. I tried to reset Firefox without result. I freshly reinstalled (or so I thought) nothing works. I tested the performance against the native Safari and initially had some problems but could access certain websites. At the point where I realized I should do a clean removal of Firefox, I was no longer able to access to any site of Mozilla in any way, except the Help menu on the installed copy and who wouldn't let me download a new copy of v.27. I was able to access a CNet Firefox download page, and he agreed than an interrupted download request but each test (5). I'm hoping to learn a way (may need to be drop the a v. 27 dmg, but hope not) to return to the operation.

    I am also successfully to access the download sites. I think that it is now OK. Thanks a lot for the replies and suggestions. The firewall seems to have been it.

  • The new Director of 4 Add-on firefox does not display any of my extensions, but they are all still installed and functional.

    When click on Firefox-> Add - ons, the new Add-ons Manager opens in a new tab. It shows the links to the page Get-addons, Extensions, appearance, Plugins and Scripts (for Greasemonkey) user in the menu on the left. All these excellent work except for the tab 'Extensions', which says that I have no extensions. However, in the lower right of the window, icons for extensions, I was using Firefox 3.6 appear as they did in this version of the browser. All my previous extensions are fully functional. Is there a way I can re - access the menu for the configuration/uninstall/disable them? Thank you very much to all those who are ready to help!

    You seem to have been using this profile with some testing of Firefox version according to the presence of many extensions.checkCompatibility. * prefs in your list of system details more.

    You may create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

    There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

    So, as I had a moment of inactivity, I decided to check my console logs. When my mac has restarted, I discovered the console log generated lines similar to the following for each Audio Unit audio plug-ins (component) I (no error for VST).     The thing is that I have no problem running any software I can load plugins (component) I get warnings from the console on. Do I need to worry about this.

    It's probably a third incompatible plug-ins. try to remove it. Please DO NOT publish a newspaper EtreCheck unless someone asks. You may be able to load plug-ins, but they can still be incompatible, therefore, errors of the Console. Some hardware/software you use, you should quit and detach. Then, uninstall the software responsible for plug-ins. If you do not have a program to uninstall for them:

    Most OS X applications are completely independent "packages" that can be uninstalled by simply dragging the application to the trash.  Applications can create preferences files that are stored in the folder/Home/Library/Preferences /.  Although they do nothing once you remove the associated application, they take up little space.  If you want you can find them in the location above and delete them, too.

    Some applications may install an uninstall program that can be used to remove the application.  In some cases, the uninstall program may be part of the installation of the application program and is called by clicking on a custom button that will appear during the installation process.

    Some applications can install components in the Home/Library/Application Support / folder.  You can also check here to check if the application has created a folder.  You can also delete the folder that is located in the application Support folder.  Once again, they do nothing but take up disk space, once the application is trashed.

    Some applications may install a startupitem, or Item Log In.  StartupItems are usually installed in the folder/Library/StartupItems/and less often in the folder/Home/Library/StartupItems /.  Journal items are defined in the preferences accounts.  Open system preferences, click accounts, and then click the login items tab.  Locate the item in the list for the application you want to remove and click on the "-" button to remove from the list.

    Some software uses demons start or agents which are a new feature of the operating system.  Look for them in/library/LaunchAgents/Library/LaunchDaemons/or in/Home/Library/LaunchAgents /.

    If an application installs all the other files that the best way to find them is to search for Finder using the name of the application or the name of developer as a search term.  Unfortunately, Spotlight look in certain default folders.  You can change the behavior of Spotlight or use a third-party, EasyFindsearch utility, instead.

    Some applications install a reception in the folder/library/receipts /.  Usually with the same name as the program or the developer.  The element typically has an extension ".pkg".  Do not forget that you also remove this element because some programs use to determine if it is already installed.

    There are a lot of utilities that can uninstall applications.  Here is a selection:

  • New X120e: slowdown in hard drive problems

    Hello. I bought a brand-new x120e last month and I feel stutters intermittent video (but not audio usually). He plays very well for a few minutes, then I get massive frame drops and resumes after a few seconds. This problem can be seen with mpeg videos 4 code of SD resolution. Initially I suspected that my videos have been corrupt, but they are actually perfectly fine (even video will be stutter at various points. They are also very well on other machines). I tried at least 10 different videos, and the problem can be seen in each of them.

    I tried VLC, windows media, classic CCCP Media Player, player and they all have the same problem.

    When I look at the CPU usage history, there is no unusual spikes or falls in the use of the CPU for stuttering (constant at 20% or more).

    I had the same problem with the stock drivers. I installed the latest update of drivers and bios Lenovo site but same problem (I also tried the drivers far more directly from AMD, but uninstalled prompty them because they seem to break the brightness of the screen.) Unfortunately I forgot to try video playback).

    I tried to disable all the options from the Catalyst Control Panel, but no improvement in video post-processing.

    I'm sure this isn't malware or virus related - I have MS security essentials running home and I didn't download all applications other than steam, chrome and above media players.

    Flash (youtube, etc) and video Netflix seem unaffected.

    I suspected that maybe my HDD wakes up from his sleep after a few minutes of inactivity, but I doubt that's it. Power management settings are defined so that my hard drive goes to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity, but the saccade occur more often than that. (Besides, I don't think that video playback counts as inactivity)

    While I was watching the resource monitor during playback of movies, and there are spike use highly visible hard drive for stuttering. I tried to increase the size of buffer in VLC settings and that seems to help a lot.

    But I found a behavior more disturbing while experimentation. It seems that whenever there is any vibrations or movements, the drive slows down. This could be constantly observed by typing or moving the laptop while the benchmark of HARD drive is running. It is about half of what he would normally get.

    I don't know if this is a defect or some sort of safety mechanism, but I have half a mind to replace it with the SSD. Users of laptop lenovo saw something like that?

    EDIT: Well, too bad. I have discovered that now the Protection System Control Panel activates that allows me to set the sensitivity.

  • Pavilion g series: removing malware from rocket, tab and tablika of google and internet explore

    I discovered that my google chrome and internet explore have rocket tab and tablika malware on them. I went to the Add/Remove (or were) as well as the two browsers to reset. I was told that I had to delete these, there was no entry in the extensions, but I have reset the browser.  I know I missed something? Thank you.

    Sometimes you need something like CCleaner to remove the no side program. If not, look under your Program Files directory and see if you can find a link to these programs/toolbars and see if there is an uninstall for them otherwise you will have to make a Chrome uninstall and see if he has hidden the uninstallation of these emissions.     I have several times attmpted to activate the Spider Solitaire so many hearts to no availe. What should I do as I attmpted each method I know? Before having windows 7 installed by the staff of the Office Depot, I have not had any problems with games.

  • Why keep the view that I would not 'probably' remove old updates?

    I run XP Home SP2.  I have 1 million of updates for this and other programs using disk space.  Whenever I ask if I can delete the 'old', the answer is probably 'no '.  I want to know why not?    And I want the answer to be more definitive that "well, the new updates a day can depend on the 'old' to run '.  Isn't that or Don't they?  Thanks for the definitive answers
