Uninstalling Adobe with vacuum

I was working in Illustrator, got a GPU needs driver update message, updated my driver through Dell, closed, but still got the same message when I have opened Illustrator.  So I uninstalled most CC individually, but Illustrator uninstalled until the last 1% and would not go completely - even at night.  So I downloaded the Adobe cleaner and uninstalled all of the remaining pieces of Adobe.  It says uninstall is complete, but with errors.  I'm looking in the log file, but don't know what to do with it.  Can someone help me with this please?

Hi LWolf,

Please follow the steps below to remove all remaining files associated with cloud creative apps:

(1) delete the following records: ( If you do not see any folder skip this step )

C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\ MAA UPDATER and OOBE ( App data & Program Data is hidden folder please see, Show files and folders hidden in Windows 7, 8.x, 10, or Vista)

\Adobe\ DONNÉES C:\Program rename SL-STORE like SL-STORE_OLD

  • Update fails, uninstall Adobe with Error 1303

I had an employee report that he could not open the PDF files.

I go to his machine, and thought which is strange Adobe Reader X is not installed.  I have re-installed and think a lot about it.

About 10 minutes later, he called again and he was missing once again.

I've delved into the issue and concluded that when the update is running and running because I have it set to automatically install updates, it fails with an error:

Error 1303 the installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: c:\program files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\ARM\1.0.  The installation cannot continue.  Log on as an administrator or contact your system administrator.

I tried to take possession of the Adobe folder under c:\programdata\, and one located in c:\program files (x 86) \Common files and inherited the correct permissions.

I restarted the machine and the update always uninstall Adobe and then fails to install the update.

I thought it's Kaspersky which is interfering, but best I can tell I have disabled policy and each component of Kaspersky and it always fails to apply the update.

    Any ideas?

Also, the user is an administrator account, I double checked.

Has exactly the same problem on Win 7 x 64 system.  After making many changes to permissions and properties, restored to a point before that these changes, disabled windows firewall, installed the windows KB947821 hotfix and then put to day/install Adobe X (10.1) and it worked. Not sure if it was the fix or disable the firewall, since I did both at the same time.  Note: When you install the hotfix, it hangs at about 70%.  In fact, it scans your system, so let it run its course.  Good luck and let me know if it works for you.

  • should I uninstall adobe flashplayer? I'll always be able to watch videos?

must I first uninstall all the Add-ons adobe flash player? If I do, I always will be able to Watch youtube and other videos? I have windows7. Thank you.

    Hello

It's yours if you want to uninstall Adobe Flash. There have been a number is security related to problems with Flash recently and while Adobe has released updates, you may want to re-evaluate if you want to update Flash for video content you watch.

You should be able to watch YouTube using Firefox without Flash. YouTube makes its videos available on HTML5, that Firefox can display without additional software. I do not have the plugin Adobe Flash installed myself, and I can see videos from Youtube without problem.

I hope it's of help, but if not, please come back here and we'll see what we can do to help.

It is compatible with Windows 7.

  • Adobe Creative applications Cloud do not uninstall, Adobe Cleaner does not!

A while back, I downloaded the trial versions of the first pro and audition to edit a project I was working on, once I did using the apps I tried to uninstall the. That's where I met the first problem. I use 10 windows on my PC and I went by the uninstaller on the cloud no creative operating system to remove the apps for a reason any failed, maybe I had to use the creative cloud to uninstall it, but honestly I don't think that he must have made a difference. So after a few hours of frustration and a few days without taking account of the question, I used the Adobe Cleaner tool in the hope that it could solve the problem. He has not, in fact, there absolutely nothing. Then by pure frustration I uninstalled I could that was just the Creative launcher app cloud and left the apps on my computer for a few months, forgetting that they even existed. I thought that this update of Adobe apps and perhaps update of the operating system would be sufficient to solve the problem by the time I would need to use the Adobe Creative cloud, but there is no surprise. Today I reinstalled creative cloud and went through the same frustration of installing, updating, uninstalling and using of cleaning without success. I'm at the point now where I desperately need to use the apps, but I can't because I have a corrupted version of the first pro and hearing that cannot be updated or deleted from my computer. I really need help on this Adobe!

I also spent a few hours today trying to find a way to contact someone with adobe live via my computer as an e-mail or via a chat, but I couldn't find anything. So now I'm stuck just post on their forum in the hope that someone sees and knows what to do. Its really disappointing that someone has to go through something like that to get help. If someone could help that would be great.

  • Impossible to uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud - stop trying to force me to update!

I am the owner of the content of the CS6 Adobe Production Premium, and I'm not planning to update. I'm happy with my products, they do what I need to do for work and play, and I fundamentally disagree with creative cloud.

A few days ago, I made the move to 10 Windows.

After that, I was unable to open one of my Adobe products. I received an error message that is marked as "Error Message: 12' and it said to uninstall and reinstall my programs." I found a solution for it on Youtube, but wishing for a fresh reinstall, I chose to open the Adobe Application Manager.

From the opening, the Update Manager itself 'Adobe Creative Cloud '. There is no option to manage, uninstall or repair my current products from Adobe. The only options were to their level at the creative level Cloud. I am currently unable to find anywhere, on the Adobe site or in my new creative program Cloud which is also useful as a potato and INCAPABLE of BEING LOVE, but uses a lot of system resources just by being there.

NO, Adobe. I is not going to INTIMIDATE by not being is not able to use the products I paid money for and forced to pay more money to use your creative cloud. Stop trying to me corner off to use my own products! If there is a problem with a product that I own on my computer, I should be able to manage and reinstall cleanly using the Manager it is came with, without jumping through the hoops or manifestly excessive internet search just to locate these versions of your products on your website.

    I need a way of:

    (A) repair or reinstall my current products from Adobe

    (B) uninstall Adobe Creative cloud, that I have no use for and eat up system resources.

    Please and thank you.
