  For some reason any firefox stopped to load the site youtube for me. I can watch videos other people uploaded on facebook for example, but can not enter the site. Explorer is in charge of the site, so I tried to change the proxy settings in my firefox such as recommended in the Help Center, but nothing helped.   Hi Annmac,

  Generally, you will see a bar at the top of the page asking you if you want to allow pop-up windows. This happens to you?

  If this isn't the case, you got nothing to worry about. You can add an exception for the blocker. Take a look at this article and it will show you how to allow popups for a particular site.

  I use a laptop of opportunity that has been the factory--update to Vista (I don't know the original operating system for this computer), but the centre is completely empty. On each page, I get the following messge:

  Y at - it a patch that I can install to get the Help Center? I have the same problem if my internet is connected or not. I think it's a mistake when the factory updated (they have not also add enough memory). I can't find patches for this when I searched.

  Create a new user (Administrator), and then log in as this user and see if the problem persists.

  Boot mode safe mode with networking and see if the problem exists as well.

  If this does not work, try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

  If this does not work, we will check your system and hard disk for corruption files:

  Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt and right click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.

  Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  Try to put all the corrupt files here so that we can see if they can be repaired with good copies of the installation disc (unless there are too many).

  If it does not, then thanks for posting error messages in Event Viewer on the help (Start / Control Panel / administrative tools / Event Viewer).  Here's how to use Event Viewer: http://www.petri.co.il/vista-event-viewer.htm.  Look in the section system or Application.  I KNOW there must be errors each time it failed.

  Let 'see where that leaves us.  Please answer all questions and to report on all procedures in your answer and we'll see what to try next.  I suspect that we will have to do a repair system/upgrade.  You have a disk for Installation of Vista genuine?

  I found a solution that works for me, I think it's only a driver error. It is reproducible, and the solution is to create the correct folder structure. PM me if you need more information.

  Where and how you see this message 1083 and what the program that does not work?  I don't understand that part at all if you need clarify the part.

Windows cannot find helpcenter.exe.

  I tried to use my xp SP2 disk and repair or reinstall the files, and it does not work. I also tried helpctr - regserver nothing helps. I also downloaded IOBit malware fighter and ran a scan and it came back negative.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  Have you tried to go to the system restore by using an alternative method?

  It is best to download the drivers from the website of your computer manufacturer. As stated in another discussion about this HERE "the reason is that the OEM typically customize drivers for optimal performance on their particular hardware."

  Other options to solve the problem would be to take the initial configuration computer or reinstall Windows. BE WARNED, a factory restore will erase all data stored on the C:\ drive so don't forget to backup everything you want to save on an external before restoring. Make sure you have the installation CD and the product keys for all of your installed software (e.g., Microsoft Office, etc.). Don't forget that you need to download/install the Windows Service Packs and all other Microsoft updates and hotfixes after you run PC Restore.

  Two of these measures are pretty drastic unless you have good backups.

  I try to access my ASA 5510 firewalls, using SFTP (or SCP) Protocol on port 22 WinSCP. I can authenticate (database LOCAL on the AAA rules) but so can not go further because it throws an error message to me (photo attached).

  I can SSH on port 22 (PuTTY) successfully. You can also access it via the ASDM software.

  All this is done within the network on an IP address that has access rights to the ASA to management.

  Hope, one of you people of genius can help me solve this cheeky pest of a problem.

  You try to access the file system on the ASA? If Yes, then I don't think that WinSCP is supported by the ASA because of the mechanics of the works of WinSCP. Some of your other alternatives are:

  -ASDM > tools > file management

  -SecuireFX > SCP

  -SCP on MAC/Linux
