  Compaq Presario C720TU Notebook PC comes with Intel ICH8 chipset. System would be able to detect SM Bus controller drivers by installing the chipset of the motherboard drivers. You can find the chipset drivers on the site of the manufacturer in general.

• Add an HP network printer and receive error 0x000005b3

  Hi all
  a user has a windows 7 Enterprise and this machine is joined to a domain. I tried to add a universal printing PS (v5.2) HP printer which is a network printer and it gives me error 0x000005b3.

  What I've done so far?
  -Removal of all existing printers
  -Install the driver manually.
  -tried to add this printer to the title of local administrator rights.
  -tried the administrator account.
  -Windows is up to date and there are no missing drivers.
  D ' other people use this printer without problem. This user is having only one problem.
  -This user is able to add / print on other printers with no pain!

  The weird part is when Windows tries to add the network printer. so it means printer is known for windows and OS trying to get the driver for Windows 2008 R2 Print Server. The wizard detects the printer and starts to download the printer driver. Then he said: "Windows cannot connect to the printer."
  Once again:
  PCs: Dell 980
  OS: Windows 7 Enterprise
  Printer: printing universal hp PS (version 5.2)
  Server: Windows 2008 R2

  All comment or suggestion appropriates it.

  Dear Forum gods,

  I am using a VB script to define what I believe to be the units of measure - in other words, the units displayed on the horizontal and vertical rules when opening a document. According to the script:

  myDocument.viewPreferences.horizontalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.inches

  myDocument.viewPreferences.verticalMeasurementUnits = MeasurementUnits.inches

  This does not seem to do anything.

  Error reports 30480 - which I can't find any information on the newspaper.

  You look at the VB reference? your line looks strangely like a line of JavaScript and JavaScript is etque the same syntax as VB.

  A quick Google turned up the VB CS5 reference; your example of a measure is on p. 28, but with different wording.

  I need to adjust the geometricbounds of an Image in a rectangle with a JS script. But when I get the geometric limits for my image, it does not use pixels for measurement unit, using its picas. However, if I manually adjust the preferences in my office about Indesign pixels, the script runs correctly.

  How can I change the preferences of "Pixels" of my script so that I don't have to manually check?

  There's nothing wrong with changing preferences. Simply change it back later. Play with unit conversions, it's more trouble than what it's worth (in my opinion).

  If you wrap your script in a try/catch/finally block (change back in the end), that should change back 99.9% of the time units.

  I am just using the preferences visible, so you know if it changes back fails (and will not break scripts legacy, based on the measures of the user interface)...

• The fax stopped working for the sending and receiving

  This is a new end Windows 7 based Intel i5 upper computer with 8 GB of memory.  I was using the Windows Fax and Scan successfully before.  When I went to receive a fax that area is grayed out.  I lost all my previous Fax history.  Fax number directory name was always there.  I manually copied a few ads.  I also found that I couldn't send faxes.  It seems that in the printed directories printing to fax name seems different.  But I can't be sure. It now says "fax, Microsoft shared fax driver.

  I confirmed that the fax is operational and that the cables are connected correctly by going online via a switched network.  So, I think it's in the software of fax program.

  I tried to remove and reinstall the program, but I couldn't find it in under the Remove Programs Control Panel.  In addition, I don't know where to find the program to reinstall. I have Windows 7 ultimate available disk.

  I tried to go to 'Tools', then 'fax settings. "  The circled blue circle and the window says: "not responding".  And then he stopped.  In other words, I can't access settings.

  Windows Fax and Scan can be found under the features of Windows.
  -Click on the Start button
  -Type in the search box windows features
  -Click on Turn Windows features on or off
  -Locate printing and scanning > click on + to the left to enlarge
  -Uncheck fax and scan Windows
  -Click OK
  You will need to restart your computer, and then perform the same steps except Verify Windows Fax and Scan to reinstall.

  For an extended object as described and illustrated, I think that you can get a medium width.

  Approximate simple, which is near when you have a relatively long object, divide the area (A) of the length (L) the path trajectory and multiply by two (2 * A/L).

  I worked with oracle forms and reports 6i, at the time When elaborate measures of shape, it was something like 7,800 or 6.23... etc - seemed to be in inches-

  When we went to 11g measures appear to be in the 700 points or 800... etc.

  the problem is when I copy anything a report in to 11g 6i, it removes the decimal point, if it was 7,800 in 6i it becomes 7800 g 11, which is huge.

  so is it possible to change the measures of the form points to 11g po or vice versa.

  Yes, you must update the Module property of coordinate system level.  Then, click on the Module of the Navigator object node and select Properties.  Then scroll down and select the coordinate system property and click the more... button.  From there, you can change the properties of coordinate system, true unity and character cell .  I recommend that you open your original form in Forms 6i and look at these property values.  Open your form in form 11g and set the properties so that they match.  Although, if you migrate your form at Forms 11 g these properties should not change.  If you are creating a new form and copy your old objects of form in the new form, I recommend that you create a model form that has the properties of coordinate system you want and then start all new forms using this template file.

• I can't register for Windows update and receive the error code 0 x 80070002 when I try.

  When I try to solve the problem by following the instructions, I'm unable to start or stop the automatic updates in the field of Services. When I click with the right button on automatic updates and then click Start, I get the following error message: error 2: the system cannot find the specified file.
