Unknown and unknown coprocessor device

I have a Compaq Presario F700 full model F712NR.  2 windows for system devices cannot find the drivers for a reason any.

I spent several hours trying to find information on what coprocessor is in the system, but have had no luck.

The unknown device is apparently part of acpi on the motherboard, that is the only detail that I get in the Device Manager.

ACPI\HPQ0006

any info would be helpful.  I got the system used without operating system and installed windows 7 on it when I was finally able to get a hard drive to it.

This unknown device is the HP Quicklaunch.

Quick Launch

The coprocessor is part of the main chipset driver. You have the AMD model and I think he uses nForce 6100 430 with the nVidia graphics chipset. You can use the HP Vista (32 or 64-bit) driver, which should work fine

Driver HP

or you can use the Vista/Win7 driver direct from nvidia.com here (32/64-bit):

nVidia

It is a much more recent than HP driver.

If the Virtual Machine's hard drive one or CD/DVD were defined to SATA, then the unknown PCI device is because Windows XP does not support VMware Virtual SATA ATA Device drive.  Only some operating systems that contain drivers for SATA AHCI / will be able to access the VMware Virtual SATA disk ATA Device.

    Hello

On this path, it is not easy to tell which device needs to be installed. I found an interesting paper on the Toshiba (knowledge base) page. Check it on http://support.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB57014E000QR01.htm

Maybe it will help you identify the unknown device.

  • Satellite Pro L650-1PK: 2 unknown PCI devices

I would really appreciate the help on this one.

I try to get Win XP running on my laptop Toshiba L650-1PK.

I have two unknown PCI devices and I'm not sure which driver they refer to. Research on pcidatabase.com seems to offer litte help as well. That's why I wonder if there might be someone who would be able to point me in the right direction.

The device ID are as follows.

    PCI device
    PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_AA68 & SUBSYS_FD121179 & REV_00\4 & 2A 7 D5098 & 0 & 0108

I have an idea that they could relate to my audio driver but remains uncertain.
If yes which manufacturer, ATI or Conexant.

However when I try and run the update driver audio drivers available to these devices, that he told me that a driver is found on both.

    With our thanks

    Dave

I agree with Akuma. You must install SP3 and all the other patches.
It of needed to get the support for HD audio.

As mentioned; the VEN ID 1002 means ATI
It seems to be a missing graphics driver.

B 3, 56 FRI ID means Intel. The laptop was equipped with Chipset Mobile Intel HM55 Express so possibly that the chipset driver is necessary. On the other hand it could be also linked to audio HD if you didn't install the SP3 in the past.

  • Satellite L500 - 19 X - Webcam listed as unknown USB device

I had problems with my camera is not visible to the software Toshiba or Skype. Restart resolves the problem, but he then disappears again after a while.

I downloaded the software for the Webcam from the Toshiba support Web page and reinstalled successfully, but now the webcam disappeared completely from the list of devices and shows simply Manager as unknown USB device.

How can I get it back?

    Hey,.

Important if you use the webcam: you can use it with one program! That means don't use Skype and webcam software at the same time. For example, if you use it for Skype, close the software of the webcam.

If the webcam is shown as unknown device, you must reinstall the driver for the webcam I think.
To control first the software list in Control Panel and remove Camera Assistant Software. After that, you should restart the computer and then reinstall the new software of the webcam.

  • M400 - Bluetooth is only recognized as a unknown usb device

    Hello!

I have a problem with the bluetooth driver / stack. I just got my new M400 and the first time I have activated Bluetooth, battery Setup came - but Windows just said when Setup tried to install the driver that an error has occurred - nothing more.

The Bluetooth ACPI works very well according to the Device Manager, but that's all. There are no other Bluetooth device list - but an unknown USB device. I compared the device with the id id in the inf file (which is located in the folder of installation of battery). This device is supposed to be the Bluetooth USB Controller-5 of TOSHIBA (USB\VID_0930 & PID_0508) but Windows does not recognize the device - and it is correctly listed in the inf file. Even if I try manually installing the Windows device requires just that the inf file contains no information about the device (which is not true).

Any ideas what I can do? I already uninstalled the battery and installed the new version of the stack, but it makes no difference.

    Concerning

    Alexander

I have it solved by myself. There is a defect in the file INF from Toshiba. From the beginning, it lists only Chicago as a compatible Windows version and windows compatibility control is a.

If you change the string from Chicago to Signature = ' $Windows NT$ ' and out of the chain of compatibility that it all works very well. Unpack the battery Bluetooth to a folder, so just go to 2KXP/Windows/Inf and edit the inf file, then run the setup.exe in the folder 2KXP.

I think that the problem with the USB connection that gives you the error and not your webcam. Here is a document on how to update your PC to solve problems (Windows 8).

If you are still experiencing a problem with the webcam and then one of the documents in the previous post should help now. Any stage of document Windows 8 will be the same for Windows 8.1.

  • Interfacing with several unknown USB devices; all producing NMEA strings

    Hi all

Question about the peripheral USB interface and their associated drivers.

I have the obligation to build an application that interacts with the USB devices that produce NMEA strings. I have the library to parse NMEA strings, but I fight with interfacing with several unknown USB devices. When deploying applications, I know not all possible USB devices to use.

Is it possible to produce one driver who will accept any USB device strings?

Or, more likely, is there a way to get the LV to recognize a connected USB device and automatically find / install the driver like windows does and is it possible to do in a deployed application?

I had a trawl of the forums, but I've not found anything that specific.

Thanks, I really appreciate the help.

About the VI "set up the serial port", my problem is that the choice of COM port is in a separate menu (not directly related to the VI) and it allows all possible COM ports to be selected. That can be addressed.

I am not expecting an all-in-one solution but asked the question in case it was possible.

What I realized, is that for my specific condition to read strings from a USB device. It is likely to be sent over a serial connection. LV can handle this well and easily assuming the device has the installed driver / settings are available.

LV (and indeed any other program) will not work without a device driver / settings. In this case, parameters set must be found (error) / a USB RAW driver would need to be developed. Devices requirng a RAW USB driver would need a serious review to continue due to the time and effort required. All this effort is work inherited from the AIDS to navigation

I appreciate any help and I think I got the answer I was looking for! Thank you very much

    Hello:

This device is the card reader that needs a driver.

DL and install the driver first on the list on the link below...

    http://www.Realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?langid=1&PNid=15&PFID=25&level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GETDOWN=false

The BOM indicates your model has the Intel Centrino 2230 wireless card.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver for this card directly from Intel.

You want that element of fourth on the list (64-bit only driver).

  • HP laptop - 17-p000na AMD R4: unknown PCI device

Hello all, first time on this forum...

I recently bought a HP 17 laptop p000na with AMD R4, it came with Windows 8.1 64-bit installed.

I do not earn 8.1 and in all cases, some specialized software that I use is better coimpatible with Win7 32 bit, some older software works better on XP 32-bit, some same needs BACK... I therefore immediately has got rid of 8.1, partitioned the drive and installed Win7 64 bit, Win7 32 bit and XP 32-bit SP3.  I got a slow start installing these operating systems, but was eventually successful, it!

I managaed to encourage drivers to just about everything in the Device Manager in the two Win7 32 bit and Win7 64 bit, a combination of AMD support site, HP, support from Realtek site support site. etc... But I find myself with an unknown PCI device in Device Manager.

I hope someone can shed some light on what may be the PCI device and where can I download a driver for it.

I still have to get arouhd to sort the XP drivers - I might wonder about this later!

    Thanks for reading,

  • CanoScan 5600F Scanner appears as unknown in Device Manager

I have a new CanoScan 5600F scanner which appears as unknown in Device Manager. I downloaded and installed the latest driver (several times) from Canon.

    • I tried the scanner on two PC running XP Home - a new Compaq Presario and a new Barebone VisonMan. It does not work on either.
    • I also tried the Epson scanners on both machines, and they don't work either.
    • However, when I run the Compaq Presario with Vista (which came with it), works to scan Canon. Problem is, I don't use Vista (or Win7) and I have no intention of.

This seems to indicate that it is a problem with XP Home, do not recognize the scanner. I did not have this problem with any other USB device. Any suggestions?
