Unknown column 'name' in 'field list '.

I use Dreamweaver MX and am having a problem with the connection from php, mysql. First of all, the connection between apache, mysql, php and Dreamweaver MX seem to be fine communitating. I recently added fields to an existing table in a database. I can check the fields are there through an external program and the names I use are correct. I've updated the program to make the new field names (checked and double-checked the correct spelling, variable, etc...) The program and the database were communication correctly before I added the new fields, and the program will still read the old existing fields, but not the newly created fields. When I go to the application tab and check that the database of my database is here, when I drill down to the table, none of the new fields appear. I have delected recording of data in the application tab and recreated with a different name. It connects, but will not display the new fields. All the old fields appear fine. How can I force Dreamweaver to query the database and pick up the newly created fields? I'm puzzled.

Nevermind, I'm a fool!

    Concerning

    Mr President.

    I recreate my diagram by connecting as sysdba and opens the my database

    then I do not get this message.

    I think that was the problem with my database it has been locked or is created in use of the system.

  • Unknown column in the PHP/MySQL field list

    I created a feedback form for our airshow site and it works great. I now create some pages of the review, which are also working well, then

    ... I decided to improve one of the review pages and now it does not work... sigh.

    We ask stakeholders to provide their zip code and I have a vision showing the number of responses by postcode, this works very well and can be seen here http://www.hollisterairshow.com/feedback-results.php , so I decided to improve it by adding the City / State based on zip code. I created a new table called 'postcodes' and imported a list of zip codes and city / state info - all the 42,000 + of them.

    The PHP/MySQL, who works is illustrated below

    <? PHP
    Connect MySQL

    $query = "SELECT zip, COUNT (zip) ZIP GROUP BY feedback";

    $result = mysql_query ($query) or die (mysql_error ());

    Print results
    While ($row = {mysql_fetch_array ($result))}
    echo $row ["zip"]. " ". $row ['COUNT (zip)'];
    echo "< br / > ';
    }
    ? >

    As I am now faced with two tables, I thought that I had to add the name of the table in any field, so I added the names of tables and fields to the new table so

    I changed the PHP / MySQL as follows

    <? PHP
    Connect MySQL

    $query = 'SELECT feedback.zip, COUNT (feedback.zip), zipcodes.citystate OF feedback codes postal WHERE feedback.zip = zipcodes.zipcode GROUP BY feedback.zip';

    $result = mysql_query ($query) or die (mysql_error ());

    Print results
    While ($row = {mysql_fetch_array ($result))}
    echo $row ['feedback.zip']. " ". $row ['COUNT (feedback.zip)']. " ". $row ['zipcodes.citystate'];
    echo "< br / > ';
    }
    ? >

    and it fails when I run it says ' Unknown column 'feedback.zip' in "field list '"

    I would be grateful any suggestion on this, I am new on this PHP/MySQL stuff.

    Thank you

    Tony

    Tables listed in the From clause must be separated by commas. As it is, it is evaluated as an alias.

  • How to get a list of column names

    Hello

    I need to test the list of column names that are present in the table with my column list who are in excel. Currently im using Toad, if you press f4 on the name of the table, it will display
    . But I need a sql query to check it out.
    I tried user_tables; not work and tried with information_schema.columns but table does not exist error coming.

    How to get those details using sql querry.

    SELECT column_name

    Of all_tab_cols

    WHERE table_name = 'name of the Table.

    or

    SELECT column_name

    Of all_tab_cols

    WHERE table_name = 'name of the Table.

    AND owner = 'name of the owner.

  • Can I use * and the list of the column names in a select query

    PLSQL again.  Can I use * and the list of the column names in a select query, i.e. Select *, col1, col2 from Mytable.  When I do that my questions tend to the bomb.  Can do in other databases.

    Thank you

    Mike

    Hi, Mike,.

    If there is something else in the more SELECT clause *, then * must be qualified with a table name or alias.

    For example:

    SELECT Mytable. *, col1, col2

    FROM MyTable;

  • How to change the order of the field name in the list?

    Hi all

    I use a JavaScript taken on the forums, that does what I need beautifully (thanks Gilad D) with 1 small Ride.  The script takes the name from fields of those fields that are marked as being necessary, but has been left blank.  I named the fields match the number of question so that the user will have a reference.  However the order is sorted numerically which means "#1" is followed by "#10"...»

    1 - list allowing installation

    10 - date sent

    2 - name of the person designated by

    3 - the exam date

    etc.

    Is it possible to change this order?  This is the script I use:

    var emptyFields = [];

    for (var i = 0; i < this.numFields; i ++) {}

    var f = this.getField (this.getNthFieldName (i));

    If (f.type! = "button" & & f.required ") {}

    If ((f.type=="text" & & f.value== "") |) (f.type == "checkbox" & & f.value == "Off"). (f.type=="combobox" & & f.value== "")) emptyFields.push (f.name);

    }
    }

    If (emptyFields.length > 0) {}

    App.Alert ("Please verify that the following fields are filled (if any)" before you continue: \n "+ emptyFields.join ("\n")");

    }

    Thank you!

    Yes, after the box print dialogue, but before the file is sent to the

    printer. This cannot be changed.

  • use a (selection list) element as the column name in the select?

    I have a popup LOV key based on a select (dynamic list of values)
    I want to display and return - select columns in the select statement to be determined by another list.

    I tried:

    Select distinct: P133_COLUMN d: P133_COLUMN r
    FROM MyTable

    but then I don't you the value of: P133_COLUMN... so if: P133_COLUMN is 'EMPNO' LOV popup displays the text "EMPNO" and referred the text 'EMPNO', not the empno column values...

    If I change

    Select distinct P133_COLUMN d & P133_COLUMN r
    FROM MyTable

    I get the standard
    "LOV query is not valid, a display and a return value is needed, the column names must be different. If your query contains a query online, the first CLAUSE in the SQL statement must not belong to the query online. »

    Anyone?

    Also, I was wondering if it is possible to set the textfield object in the item popup LOV to accept the input text directly as well as the selected value, but the first part of the question is the important part.

    Concerning

    Andreas

    Hello Andy,

    Change your LOV to something like this:
    'select' return. : P133_COLUMN |' d, ' | : P133_COLUMN | "as r from myTable";

  • Extraction of values based on column names

    Hello

    I have three tables. Table A table contains a column with all column_names in the table b. table B is to have an emp_id and other fields that are stored as values in the column of the TABLE.  I need to get the emp_id and value from the column of table B based on data of Table A. and store it in another table.

    Example:

    Table has -col1

    Emp_name

    Emp_sal

    Emp_dept

    Table B

    Emp_id Emp_name Emp_sal Emp_dept

    1001 ABC 1000 sales

    1002 XYZ 2000 SVC

    TABLE C

    Emp_id Emp_details value

    1001 Emp_name ABC

    1001 Emp_sal 1000

    1001 Emp_dept sales

    1002 Emp_name XYZ

    1002 Emp_sal 2000

    1002 Emp_dept SVC

    Using the list of TABLE A, I have to select each Id and corresponding to the value of TABLE B and even insert in TABLE C. I know that we can use a loop for, but I have trouble choosing the name of column based on the value of the slider. Can anyone help?

    Hello

    Looks like you want to do 2 things rather difficult:

    (1) unpivot data from several columns in the column 1 value

    (2) get the column names for the another table unpivot operator

    Let's start with how you could do just part 1, unpivoting data:

    INSERT INTO table_c (emp_id, emp_details, value)

    WITH all_varchar2 AS

    (

    SELECT emp_id

    emp_name

    TO_CHAR (emp_sal) AS emp_sal

    emp_dept

    --Include all columns, you might need

    OF table_b

    )

    SELECT emp_id, emp_details, value

    Of all_varchar2

    UNPIVOT (value

    FOR emp_details IN

    (emp_name - dynamic

    emp_sal - dynamic

    emp_dept - dynamic

    )

    )

    ;

    Value is a column, everything happens in this column must have the same (or a very similar) data type.  The subquery all_varchar2 converts all columns that you can rotate in VARCHAR2s (if they are not already VARCHAR2s) so that they are ready to rotate.  You might consider doing a permanent display for this.

    Now, instead of hard-Ghoshal the 3 line marked "Dynamics", you seek to table_a.  You will know beforehand what are these columns, and you won't even know there will be the number of columns. You need instructions SQL dynamic to write this part of the INSERT statement for you at run time.

    Here's a way to do it in SQL * more and SQL:

    -The preliminary motion

    COLUMN col_list_col by col_list new_value

    SELECT LISTAGG (col1, ',') within THE GROUP (ORDER BY col1)

    AS col_list_col
    FROM table_a;

    -Main return (dynamic):

    INSERT INTO table_c (emp_id, emp_details, value)
    WITH all_varchar2 AS
    (
    SELECT emp_id
    emp_name
    TO_CHAR (emp_sal) AS emp_sal
    emp_dept
    --Include all columns, you might need
    OF table_b
    )
    SELECT emp_id, emp_details, value
    Of all_varchar2
    UNPIVOT (value
    FOR emp_details IN
    (& col_list
    )
    )
    ;

    Dynamic SQL often works like this.  First, you make a preliminary motion to write the part that is not know before execution.  Then, you run the main statement, which has the integrated preliminary query results.

    If you do this in PL/SQL, you use a string variable ordinary for col_list, instead of a substitution variable.

  • Discovers missing names in the list of e-mail blackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Bold 9900,

    Hello. My Bold 9900 does not display the name of the object. I tried to turn it on and found the options to display 'Name, subject' or 'object, name '. Can the 9900 display name From email lists? How can I turn it on?

    I omitted the field to 9700 years and recently switched devices. The parameters have been delayed for the new Bold 9900. The box/option is absent on OS7, it cannot be (re) activated. I made some changes on the 9700, with backup restore / selective of: fields now display correctly.

  • Classic generic column report - update the list column

    Consider a dynamic pivot statement as follows (as described by the AMIS) which

    select * from table( pivot(  'select deptno,  job, count(*) c from scott.emp group by deptno,job' ) )

    I used this as a SQL source for the classic report, by selecting "use generic column names.

    The report looks like

    dp_full.png

    I can set up the data displayed with a selection list and including a clause where clause

    where job =v(''P39_JOB'') or v(''P39_JOB'') is null

    List select not PPR on the region,demonstrated here:

    https://Apex.Oracle.com/pls/Apex/f?p=73000:39:

    Note: , and all swivel jobs are still visible in the form of columns, data is limited

    -other jobs are empty

    -departments with no clerks are not shown

    dp_clerk.png

    Let's say you have another list of selection than the work of groups, say the "Présidents" and "close".

    How can you update the region to exclude certain jobs?

    Reload the page with the value of P39_JOB already set will not affect the result, while including a literal string made.

    It seems maybe ODCI function analyzes the query on Lees null, and then fills with actual results.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Update: it seems a workaround is to inject the value as a substitution string, for example:

    and employment as ' & P39_CEO. »

    where P39_CEO is lacking in session state %

    I've only had this concept works in my client application (4.2, 11 2 GR), not my demo (5.0, 12 c), to even try to meet the relevant quotes and when null. I kept getting

    error report: ORA-1403: no data found

    I could not work how to correctly apply sys.dbms_assert.enquote_literal)

    Scott

    Hi Scott

    What approach I described in this post: matrix report?

    It eliminates the need for any dynamic SQL and I think filtering options might be implemented using SQL/XML features.

  • How to export data to excel that has 2 tables with the same number of columns and the column names?

    Hi everyone, yet once landed upward with a problem.

    After trying many things to myself, finally decided to post here...

    I created a form in form builder 6i in which clicking on a button, the data gets exported to the excel sheet.

    It works very well with a single table. The problem now is that I cannot do the same with 2 tables.

    Because the tables have the same number of columns and the columns names.

    Here are the 2 tables with column names:

    Table-1 (MONTHLY_PART_1) Table-2 (MONTHLY_PART_2)
    SL_NOSL_NO
    MODELMODEL
    END_DATEEND_DATE
    U-1U-1
    U-2U-2
    U-4U-4
    ..................
    ..................
    U-20U-20
    U-25U-25

    Given that the tables have the same column names, I get the following error :

    402 error at line 103, column 4

    required aliases in the SELECT list of the slider to avoid duplicate column names.

    So how to export data to excel that has 2 tables with the same number of columns and the column names?

    Should I paste the code? Should I publish this query in 'SQL and PL/SQL ' Forum?

    Help me with this please.

    Thank you.

    Wait a second... is this a kind of House of partitioning? Shouldn't it is a union of two tables instead a join?

    see you soon

  • How to refresh the report region change which column of report selection list

    Hello
    I worked with apex 4.2 and I create a classic report with list (named loved) select a column in the list change in report, update the table with the new value via JavaScript (change) call and woke up very well, and I change the color of the line was updated to make it different from the other lines now I want to update to the report after doing update without submitting the page to show the new color of line update.
    I called javascript:apex.submit() in the update function, but

    My Question
    1. How do I refresh the report after change report column list without sending page
    2-can we enter column name selection list report to submit the Page to refresh the report area

    Thank you
    Ahmed

    See my answer above!

    Here's what I did:

    • Created two hidden page items

    • Created a dynamic action on the page with three real actions. (1) set the item values page. (2) to execute code to update the plsql table. (3) update the region report

  • IN parameter is the string of column names I want to SELECT delimited

    Hi guys,.

    Please bare with me. Not a pro at writing stored procedures.

    What I try to do is to pass a parameter of 'IN' to the proc. The setting is a varchar2 which is a comma-delimited string.
    I want to put this string in the SELECT statement.

    This setting is called "P_SelectFields".

    The value in the passage in the proc is like:
    P_SelectFields = ' CUSTOMERS SUM (CLI_SERVED) AS SUM (EI_INTC) + SUM (NEI_INTC) AS INTERVENTIONS,
    SUM (TOT_EMPRTN) AS EMP_RETURN, SUM (TOTAL_RTS) AS SCHOOL_RETURN
    "

    That's what I've got and I know that it works, if I put the string instead of the parameter it works. !

    PROCEDURE GET_NATIONAL_TOTAL_RESULTS (P_SelectFields IN varchar2, P_AGREEMENT_TYPE_IND AGREEMENT_TYPE.agreement_type_ind%TYPE, io_cursor in SYS_REFCURSOR)
    IS
    BEGIN
    OPEN FOR Io_cursor

    SELECT year_desc,
    P_SelectFields - that's where I want my partameter go.

    OF SPF_RESULT_VW
    WHERE r_num = 1 - FILTER for the LAST PERIOD for EACH YEAR
    and agreement_type_ind = P_AGREEMENT_TYPE_IND - desired FILTER FOR Agreement_type_ind
    GROUP BY year_desc
    ORDER BY year_desc
    ;

    END GET_NATIONAL_TOTAL_RESULTS;

    That's what I'm after you run the proc.

    YEAR_DESC = 2011-2012
    : B2 = SUM (CLI_SERVED) ACE, SUM (EI_INTC) CUSTOMERS + EMP_RETURN SUM (NEI_INTC) AS OF THE INTERVENTIONS, SUCH AS SUM (TOT_EMPRTN), SUM (TOTAL_RTS) SCHOOL_RETURN

    Where is ': B2 = "come from?".

    What can I do to make my parameter is "picked up" by the proc?

    Thank you

    Firstly: in relational databases, there is no distinction between 'fields '. Tables is not 'fields', they have columns.
    It is my experience that that call columns 'fields' basically treats the database as a flat file system. It's a very bad idea!

    If you want to pass as a parameter column names, you need dynamic SQL.
    However, PL/SQL was invented to reduce the analysis and using of the dynamic SQL, you'll at least soft-parse each statement.

    Dynamic SQL is obviously in the documentation, but most people here think that they don't need to read the documentation.

    So, for once
    glance

    OPEN io_cursor FOR
    'SELECT year_desc,'||
    P_SelectColumns||
    ' FROM SPF_RESULT_VW '||
    'WHERE r_num = 1 '|| --FILTER FOR LATEST PERIOD FOR EACH YEAR
    'and agreement_type_ind = P_AGREEMENT_TYPE_IND '||-- FILTER FOR desired Agreement_type_ind
    'GROUP BY year_desc '||
    'ORDER BY year_desc'
    ;

    Please note that I have renamed the parameter.
