  While checking my "Login Items" list, I noticed that there is an entry that is tagged as 'unknown '. His name is 'apple -'. Could someone help me please to find out what it is? Is it necessary? • Script to change the element using screen orientation does not not on Dev Alpha in Portrait mode

  OK, so I wanted to update my application WebWorks Testing (https://github.com/SCrid2000/WebWorks-Testing) to make it easier to test webworks apps for the difference in screen resolution between the Alpha of Dev and the 10 next of BlackBerry.

  Basically, instead of opening your html, js and css files directly in the test application, the update would be to open your files in an iframe in the app. The iframe will resize itself based on the orientation of the device.

  The javascript function looks like this:

  Now it works just perfect on the PlayBook (but of course, this isn't much help for the screening of the BB10)

  However, on the Dev Alpha it ONLY works in the LANDSCAPE; in other words, if the application is launched in the landscape, the iframe rezises and everything is just perfect. If the test application is started in portrait mode, the iframe is still resized to the size of portrait.

  Anyone have any suggestions for what I'm doing wrong? I am quite at a loss here (and since this is a free application and open source, I'm not too motivated to spend another couple hours trying to fix lol).

  Nevermind, turns out it only is not yet supported by BB10.

• Icon for blackBerry Smartphones Unknown gold on screen

  Since the update I had which I assume is a notification icon on my screen and I have tried everything I can think of what it could be. There seems to be a golden globe (a bit like the web browser icon - which was what I have, if it was linked to) with a number 1 next to it as if it was a message or social network notification. Does anyone know what could be this icon and how possibly get rid of it?

  It's probably a browser push notification.  You can access your file main message, press the BB Menu key > folder view, scroll through the Messages of the WAP Push and delete the message from there.

  If you have hidden your main Inbox, then you first want to view it.  Go to the home screen, press the BB Menu key and select Show all.

  EDIT: Looks like I was beaten to the post.  Same thoughts, then it's probably push browser message.  You can delete it I posted above.

• Unknown element in the dependencies: 'system '.

  At this point, I'm just curious to know what this point, and it is not actually cause a problem...

  I was looking for to clean a project that I'm trying and I found this:

  When I right click and select 'what's point in the dependencies' he replies "no items found".  All the other things in this list can easily be attributed to their callers.

  Has anyone else seen in LV2013?  I remember ever seen this in previous versions... but maybe I just never noticed.

  This is driving me crazy. I can't compile my .ipa with the attribute of the iPhone in the app.xml file. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I'm sure I followed the format correctly. Help, please.

• Organizing element does not start from the 12 EP welcome screen

  Organizing element refuses to boot from the first item welcome screen 12. I had the same problem with PSE12, which was solved by systematically starting from the taskbar. I failed to get the screen of welcome to PSE12. Ss12 and PSE12 parpadean normally also. I could produce a film without difficulty. Pluggable 8.1 Windows on an ACER Aspire 8920 32-bit with 4 GB of memory. Although having as bought PSE12 and ss12 together I only install ss12. Plug-in these Adobe products for several years.

  My catalogs are all in C:\Users\All Users\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs.

• UNKNOWN NAMES APPEARING IN THE SECTION 'SHARING' TOPIC @ WINDOW LEFT

  I STARTED SEEING NAMES APPEARING UNDER THE HEADING IN THE LEFT COLUMN IN ANY WINDOW, I OPENED "SHARED." I HAVE A MAC MINI (END OF 2012), ROUTER NETGEAR, APPLE TV, BURNING AND A HP PRINTER 3 IN 1, USED FOR SCANNING. THE LAST THREE ITEMS ARE CONNECTED WIRELESSLY WITH THE ROUTER.

  THE NAMES THAT APPEAR ARE:

  SECCHA-PC

  TIBERRIUS-PC

  I CAN'T FIND ANYWHERE THAT I CAN BLOCK OR DELETE THESE UNKNOWN ELEMENTS. THEY HAVE A MAC ADDRESS AND AN IP ADDRESS... BUT I COULD NOT FIND INFORMATION USEFUL YET. WHEN I CLICK ON THE NAMES, EACH OF THEM OPENS ANOTHER WINDOW, SAYS 'WINDOWS PC' WITH COMPUTER ART.

  ALL SAY NOT 'CONNECTED', BUT I'M A LITTLE PARANOID ON THE QUESTION OF WHETHER SOMEONE COULD TRY TO HACK INTO MY COMPUTER.

  Have you tried to go to Finder > Preferences > sidebar and uncheck Bonjoir computers?

• All the icons have changed to the icon "unknown generic."

  Recently changed the Windows 7 default to another theme that I created using my own images.  For example, theme custom 15 images Fund rotation every 10 minutes.  It is the only change I am aware to the theme.  After that, I noticed that all my default icons for applications have disappeared.  Example, Word 2007 icon appears next to a .doc file.  Now, it shows only the icon for unknown elements.  He always knows the default application, just not the icon normally.  It is a problem now with all the files on my computer.  I prefer to see the default icons instead of disable "Hide extensions of known file types".

  I even went back to the theme by default in Windows 7 (and other) and the problem persists.

  Ok.. I'm totally guessing here, but try:

  Go in run (Windows key + R) and type
  %windir%\system32\Control.exe/name Microsoft.DefaultPrograms

  Now, select the desktop and then "Set this program by default."

  If this does not work, right click on computer and select "Properties".  Then choose 'Advanced system settings', then 'Performance '.  Make sure 'Show thumbnails instead of icons' is checked.

  Finally, if this still doesn't work, then go in run and type
  \AppData\Local C:\Users\[user name]

  Where [username] is the name of your current user account.  Then, click on "Organize" and then "folder and search options."  Then click on the 'View' tab and select to 'See the hidden files.'  After that is done, a file named IconCache should appear.  Remove the suction cup and reboot!

• How to 'persist' State of the screen?

  Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I have not found all the relevant information.

  Here's my problem. I have a WebWorks app built with BBUI.js. On the first screen, there are search features, after the search, the list of issues is presented to the user. Once the user clicks on an element, new screens open with additional information. Pretty simple IMO approach. However, when I press the back button, the screen below (first screen) is in its initial State - no search results, even no search word in the search field.

  Is - this how WebWorks/BBUI is supposed to work or I do something wrong? How can I "persist" the State of the screen, so that when the user clicks the back button they can see the results of the research?

  I do not think that you are doing something wrong here, it is the way in which bbUI.js was built. To do this, States not currently cache/persist/etc screen when you switch between tabs.

  The best way I can think off the top of my head would be for you to cache manually the current view (localStorage is always fast and easy to use), then screen that hides the view when the user clicks on the new tab.

  It depends on where you need adjustments, but here are a few useful tips:

  1. in javascript, you can obtain the size of the screen by using the following properties to update the dynamic DOM elements:

  -screen.width and screen.height

  2. with the help of a media query can be made to update the content of your CSS style:

  -@media screen and (device-height: 720px) and (device-width: 720px) {}

  You can play with these properties a bit. If you want the real HauteurInterne/LargeurInterne, which can be useful in case you are always called within another application use the following js: window.innerWidth and window.innerHeight.

• Input element Validation - Error Message

  I need to run a validation of the clip whenever the user enters the value of the element.

  Question what I'm facing is when error message triggers, it is show as a warning and it is not to restrict the item to be saved.

  Instead, if the warning is ignored, we are able to back up the folder. We have defined the only configuration of warning and error in the definition element as error, but still his display as a message of caution.

  Am I missing any installation in the element definition screen. Also joined the snapshot where I set my formula.

  Your installation looks Ok (as far as the attached screens are concerned).

  However, as you have not established all the details on your links fast-formula or element, I can't say much about those.

  1 check:

  Please check that your formula returns the following, in case you want to an error:

  formula_status = 'e '.

  2nd check:

  Linking to the open item screen. Ask your item, click on "Input parameters" and check if the "Warning/error" column is set to "error".

• I just installed PE13, I still have 11 PE on my system.  On the home screen icon Organizer is black (not red) while the PE icon is red, no idea whats going on?

  As well should the Organizer icon and the icon be red if things work out well?  Here's what it looks like, I transferred my organizing PE 11 to 13 Organizer, I know that they are the same color, I did something wrong?

• Photoshop Elements crashes

  Why Photoshop Elements 10 keep crashing and freezing my computer? Today, I lost a potential sale because of this crash/freeze.

  Please try some probable solutions as mentioned below:

  Solution 1:

  1. close the elements.

  2. launch Photoshop elements welcome screen and hold the key ctrl + alt + shift when you click on the editor.

  3. continue to press the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete the settings for Photoshop Elements; Click Yes. Items will be open with the default preferences.

  Solution 2: in case any network printer is attached try to launch without uninstalling network or a printer or make another default printer.

  Solution 3: Try launch with anti-virus off or remove the PES of contradictory list.

  Solution 4:

  On the drive on which you installed PES, on my machine, it's on C:

  Go to C:\Program Adobe Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find two plug-in. remove that plug-in from this location and copy it somewhere else.

  Now start PES and check if it works.
