Yes, this red watch points to send the message.

I recommend a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Hello vigneau

    A star icon

We go to the "Messages" folder and open the notification which also has the yellow star.

Once you open the notification, the star disappears immediately on the screen of your BlackBerry.

  • Unknown icon on the main screen blackBerry Smartphones

I checked the other posts & not found it described.

He sits to the right of the yellow envelope showing incoming emails.

It is slightly smaller that the yellow envelope, seems to be a gray envelope, with a black 'joint' and a little red on the upper right circle, which may have the number "1" in it - all very difficult to see.

I checked all my emails - all empty.

    No RIM messages either.

    No BlackBerry World update.

    Removed the battery & rebooted.

    Anyone got any ideas?  Please?

From your home screen, go to your Messages folder.  Press the menu button, and then select the display folder.  Two likely candidates to look at would be browser Messages and WAP Push, even if it might be in other folders as well.  See if you can find it in these cases.

This Council has worked for some and did not work for others.  This icon seems to be quite evasive as to its origin.  It's probably a third-party application by pushing the message on your phone, but nobody seems to be able to identify it.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Unknown icon on the home screen blackBerry Smartphones

I've seen this question before but never the answer.  Is there a list of the meaning of the icons that appear at the top of the home screen?  It looks like this o_o but with the circle and the line connected, a little like lower cartridges of film of the former.  Any thoughts?

    It's your voice message indicator.

  • Message icons and email separate from blackBerry Smartphones / inboxes

When I set up e-mail (gmail) on my BB Curve 8900 I ended with the icon of a single message / Inbox called Messages and marked another ([email protected]).  Both receive all my email.  The message icon also has text messages.  I read the posts on how to change the SMS and e-mail to separate message boxes and they did, but I see no difference.  Two mailboxes still receive all my emails.  How can I stop this and delete duplicate emails?  I want to have the inboxes separated so I can more easily see SMS messages and I don't want copies of the emails because I guess that it takes storage space.

Go to the icon that you don't want, tap menu then tap hide.

  • Test messages blackBerry Smartphones

3 days ago, I lost text message icon on my blackberry "BOLD". How can I get the icon on the screen? People have called and said that they have sent me text messages. How can I retrieve messages or retrieve the icon?

The first step is to make sure that you did not accidentally hide the icon.  While on your home screen, press the menu key and select Show all or Unhide All if one is available.

If this isn't the solution, you can get your icon back on BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once you get the software and your phone, which is connected to your PC, gets recognized, click Applications on the left side of the software.  I believe you can recharge by placing a check mark next to text Messages (or SMS).  It's been long that I looked at Applications, so if this is not available, you can click on this device, the upper part of the software and then restore.  Choose the most recent restore point and reload it to recover your SMS icon.

    I hope that helps you.

    Hello

What was going on just before that this behavior started? A new application? An update? Something else? Think carefully, because the smallest thing could be causal... and cancel whatever it was to see if that clears the problem.

Otherwise, it is likely that something has corrupted your OS BB, and a clean reload is necessary.

At the top of each forum device, there should be some 'sticky' threads dealing with the level of the OS available for each model. Please use those as a reference as you go along.

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

I have a stray 'closed' mail icon, it was on my old BlackBerry (an 8830) and when I got my new BlackBerry 9650, all was good, until I finished syncing my business and guess what's back? now here's the catch, it shows (and as he has done before) it's an email "Optimum we Line", not the enamel that is pushed by the server of my company. If there is no technical support will be the problem.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you

While in the application Messages, press menu and go to 'View the Messages saved.'  Is there an email unread in there?  If not, do the same thing and go to the "view folder" and check out all the different records.

  • Automatic text at the end of messages blackBerry Smartphones

At the end of every message I send from my BB, the following text is displayed:

    Sent via BlackBerry from T-Mobile

    Can I change this text?

    Thank you.

Thank you! What you suggested did not work for me exactly, however, it at least tells me what to look for and I could solve the problem.  When I logged on Tmobile.com, I saw any kind of text to open a session as an ENCORE, even after the search of that text string.  Instead, in the dialogue of your Blackberry Curve box, I clicked on accessories, then in charge of the next page, I clicked in the dialog of resources on the right, select Set Up Blackberry Internet Email.  My email accounts both came with options to edit, add filters or Delete.  If I click on change, the signature box and I can change it.  There may be several ways to get to this screen, it's just the method that worked for me.  Thanks for the compliment "handle" too!

  • Unused text messages blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I got a SMS message on my screen but it is not there, how it remove?

Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

    Try these options:
Open the yourMessages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
    * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
    Messages > saved Messages
Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
    * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
    * Connect to Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced. On the right pane is the list of the data on your device. Scroll to the e-mail highlighted messages database, and then below, select TRANSPARENT. This will clear your system of all messages.
    * Clean and reload your OS.

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and looking for advice please.

On the homescreen of my "BOLD", a new icon has appeared at the top of the screen.

To the place where a yellow envelope symbol generally appears to show ago new incoming email or SMS, I now have a yellow globe with a number 1 next to it.

I have no idea what this means or what to do about it.

I tried to restart and which does not erase it.

Apart from that, my "BOLD" functioning perfectly normally.

I got the phone about 4 months and never seen that before.

If anyone could enlighten me what it means, he appreciated woud.

    Thank you

The yellow circle is a WAP message notification.

Open your messages > Options > view folders > Wap messages and disable or delete the message.

  • Unknown status indicator on the homepage blackBerry Smartphones

Does anyone know what means the status indicator that resembles a smiling face with a red star on a look? He is the number 1 beside him. I know this means I have a kind of new message (or something) but no idea what or where.

You find the icon for Yahoo or AOL and click on it. Look in any folder of applications, Instant Messaging folder or where ever. Look for BlackBerry Messenger too. Look for an icon with this same red asterisk indicating a new message.

Could you hide it?  On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL although SHOW EVERYTHING checked and look brand new.
