• Help with unknown status indicator blackBerry Smartphones

  I looked everywhere for an answer to what is the indicator of status and have not yet found. I have a status indicator that bears a number 1 in front of a circle with a left down, arrowhead and a red Asterix. I'm sure it is some kind of download and 1 shall indicate 1 something. But I'll be darn if I can understand what it refers is need to download. It is not the messaging or media that I can tell. You can provide any help will be greatly appreciated

  Woo-Hoo - finally found, I went to the downloads folder and it is that the Blackberry Apps World has had an update.   Hi, I recently had a status indicator showing at the top of the home screen, next to the flag of e-mail.  It is a star of gold with an inner star cutout. Looking at the help that screens, the closest indicator is that for 'new notice' even if it is a red circle with a cut-out star and it is certainly a different indicator.   Hi Steve, I'll do my best to answer your questions.

  The main web browser (and one that opens automatically by clicking on links in emails and others) are the BlackBerry Internet browser.  This identification of the browser can be configured in three settings - BlackBerry, FireFox or Internet Explorer.  Usually, it is best to keep it on BlackBerry, but for some sites, it may be useful to define it on FireFox or Internet Explorer.  Make sure that JavaScript is activated for a better experience.

  The BlackBerry browser will keep cookies, so you can choose of you connected to the sites if you wish leave (for example, I logged in on the forums here leaves).  This works even if you set your BlackBerry, FireFox or Internet Explorer browser identification.  As long as your phone is not stealing, it is of course (and if your password to protect your device, it is safe anyway).

  A trick to speed up the loading of pages is to go to the options of your browser and under General Properties, set the Image quality to low.

  I have this weird icon on my "BOLD" coming on the screen during a phone call.  It is in the top right of the screen and is quite large.  It's a rectangle with signs of more than 5 or 6 aligned diagonally inside the box.  Below is my attempt to get it.  No ONE knows what it is.  Not Rogers, RIM or anywhere on the internet. • Click on the screen blackBerry Smartphones PRIV

  I just got a new unlocked AT & T PRIVATE today on Amazon, and the screen makes a rattling noise when they are hit.  On the web, there are a lot of people reporting a similar issue, suggesting turn the phone to try to fix it.  This has not worked for me.

  Is it just a matter of getting a bad or a phone that has not been produced recently? Or PRIVs all will have this problem, even if they are not immediately, because of poor design or manufacturing?

  including the browser messages and WAP push messages. See if you can find it.
