unknown protocol: c
Hello.
I'm trying to compile a very simple application of webworks Helloworld for Playbook.
I have VM player, Adobe Air SDK and JRE version 1.6.0_03 in my machine.
But when I try to compile the code, I get the following error.
C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS 2.0.0.4\bbwp>bbwp "F:/tmp.zip" -o "F:/tmp" -d -v [INFO] Parsing command line options [INFO] Parsing bbwp.properties [INFO] Validating WebWorks archive [INFO] Parsing config.xml [INFO] Validating config.xml [INFO] Validating application version [WARNING] Failed to find aelement [INFO] Validating the element [INFO] Validating the element [WARNING] Failed to find the element [INFO] Populating application source [INFO] Compiling WebWorks application Loading configuration file C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry WebWorks SDK for TabletOS 2.0.0.4\bbwp\blackberry-tablet-sdk\frameworks\air-config.xml C:\Documents and Settings\uname\Local Settings\Temp\widgetGen.17313681821306493126304.tmp\tmp.swf (37380 bytes) [INFO] Packaging the bar file Error: unknown protocol: c
Can someone help me on this?
Please note:
- I tried to search for this problem. It is listed in "known issues http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/21880/Known_issues_1589462_11.jsp>" and also I came across the same issue http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Need-help-in-running-sample-Play... >. But the proposed solutions, he has not worked for me.
- I didn't use any special charecters or spaces in the command I gave.
Hi all...
Hoping that this response will help someone.
I was able to solve the problem mentioned above. It's still "white space error. As you can see in the verbose messages, windows 'TEMP' path a "white spaces." So change in temp path of windows in "C:\TEMP" solved the problem for me.
I found the solution from http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Playbook-WebWork-Error-compiling... >
Note:
You can set these environment variables in "Advanced System Properties".

Just try to get AIRHelloWorld.as installed and launched on the Simulator, and I encountered some problems.
With the help of FB4 (v4.0.1), I get the following by following the instructions at http://docs.blackberry.com/en/developers/deliverables/21877/Testing_your_application_from_FB4_134713...
for the configs of type "Run", he pretended to install and launch, but does nothing. ".
for the launches of type "Debug", after he sat down to "Waiting for Adobe Flash Player to connect to the debugger" for awhile:
"The launch has failed."
"Failed to connect; session has expired.
Ensure that:
1. you have compiled your Flash application with debugging on
2. you run the debug version of Flash Player. »
The advice of the thread here - http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Tablet-OS-SDK-for-Adobe-AIR/Launch-Failed-Launching-Error/m-p... - I went to try from the command line with the following command:
> blackberry-airpackager-bin-debug package AIRHelloWorld.bar - installApp - launchApp - C AIRHelloWorld - app.xml AIRHelloWorld.swf - device 192.168.152.128
That I get:
"Error: unknown protocol: c.
Any help is appreciated.
Alrighty, for those who wish to learn from my mistake, do not use the default path to your workspace in Windows XP. Place your project files in a path that has no spaces in it. Otherwise the code that reads XML application descriptor will throw and give you this completely useful message on the "unknown protocol".
For more information...
According to SUN ( http://bugs.sun.com/view_bug.do?bug_id=6506304 ), it's a regression of jdk1.5, so it can be bound to the version of Java that was used to create the blackberry airpackager. My recommendation to any dev BBPB watch this forum is to use another (earlier? Since jdk6 won't necessarily be released because of the Oracle) jdk for the set of tools... you know, if you want to support default Windows XP installed and you have the time. The solution is pretty easy once you know.
Alrighty, now off to see if things work!

Thank you
Bonin.
This is due to the felix.service.urlhandlers used in OSB 12 c and the Protocol OSB Manager missing add Protocol of com.bea.wli.sb.resources.url in the java property -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs in setStartupEnv.sh.
See the explanation of Jan van Zoggel: https://jvzoggel.wordpress.com/2014/10/07/patching-the-oracle-service-bus-12-1-3-unknown-protocol-deployment-error/.
It's a bug in the installation of the OSB/BPM when OSB resides in the same domain as the BPM, which is the case if you are using the 12 c QuickStart BPM.
Kind regards

I had the same problem as the others, that only sudo would make SQLDeveloper to work. After you run a strace on SQLDeveloper with and without sudo, I compared the output of the two and found that a fault was due to the impossibility of finding some awt libraries. So I started to remove the environment variables and discovered that the culprit is GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID. unplugged just that variable and SQLDeveloper will work fine, at least works very well for me

Hi you entered mistakes and cost overruns at the same time
This means that your more using the interface, too inbound, buffers are filled and drops traffic when its maxed out
It's Cisco response to exceedances
In a small number of cases, the overrun counter can be incremented due to a software fault. However, in the majority of cases, it indicates that the capacity of the interface has been exceeded. Nothing can be done on the router that reports of cost overruns. If possible, the rate at which frames are to come should be controlled at the remote end of the connection. Otherwise, if the number of exceedances is high, the equipment must be upgraded.

I think the problem is in the XFP-10GLR-OC192SR, who works in mode SONET, rather than ETHERNET (note the BW 9953280 Kbit/s in the interface)
So is it possible to force the interface to work in mode ETHERNET?
Kind regards
Miguel
I think you're right.
Try to change the mode with the mode of configuration to the following address:
hw-module subslot 1/0 enable LAN

S2t54-adventerprisek9-MZ-sya-151-2 Cisco 6509 and BCM 5720 NIC NetXtreme
Hello, we have some servers VMware with NetXtreme BCM 5720 NIC to connect to our blade of WS - X 6848-GE-TX 6509.
We get Runts, Giants and CRC errors on some ports, but not on others.
The configuration for the ports are:
switchport
switchport mode access
switchport access vlan #.
added mac-SNMP trap notification change
deleted mac-SNMP trap notification change
spanning tree portfast edge
spanning tree enable bpdufilter
spanning tree enable bpduguardThese are the same settings on the 6509 with some previous ports not having not spanning tree portfast configured so that others.
Sho int output is:

The only changes we made were to have portfast, bpduguard and bpdufilter enabled on all ports to connect to the NetXtremes.
Does anyone know of an imbalance between NetXtreme BCM 5720 and the latest cisco IOS s2t54-adventerprisek9-mz. Spa. 152 - 1.SY1a.bin that could cause this?
Or the cards do not work with this configuration and something as the portfast must be disabled or something else activated?
So far no news of my Cisco TAC I have open.
EJ
Hi Eric,.
The 'reliability' don't lie not. If the cables are not defective, then it would read as "255/255. To support my theory, counters have been erased "6d20h" and entry errors are incrementing.
What line card is installed on this slot machine? We could try to perform a TDR on this port:
1 command: test the interface cable tdr
; 2. wait for 61 seconds;
3 command: sh interface cable tdr
; and 4. after exit # 3.

Question by QNXStageWebView: "browser can not handle web page.
Has anyone seen this behavior before / can anyone suggest a remedy.
An HTML page I show in a QNXStageWebView component (with all the properties to values by default, for example, allow JavaScript, allow plugins, etc.) has a link to this URL:
http://appworld.BlackBerry.com/WebStore/content/41285/
Click on the link leads to failure. IIRC, I saw both of these messages in the exception dialog boxes:
"The browser can not handle web page.
and
(something like) "Unknown protocol".
This behavior occurs in both debug and release build (OS 2.0.1.358) and works very well in a regular web browser.
Hello
I just revisited this question yesterda. take a look at QNXStageWebView HTML API documentation, I noticed the unknownProtocol event and implementation of the following (check my particular URL of interest not shown):
private function onUnknownProtocol(event:UnknownProtocolEvent):void { _webView.stop(); event.preventDefault(); flash.net.navigateToURL(new URLRequest(event.url)); }
That does the trick.

Load Balancing does not not on 2911
Hello people,
I have some difficulty to operate the Load Balance on my 2911.
I have followed the editing on this site:
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/Tech/tk648/tk361/technologies_configuration_example09186a0080950834.shtml
and APARENTLY it works, but not in reality, because I see packets using a NAT IPS bot thru, but when I check on the interfaces I see we're not receive / send anything.
Background:
G0/0, I have one ISP, other 1/G0, G0/2 my network.

Hello
Yes here you only have a single default route installed (one from the DHCP server) so it can't NAT on the other interface as it can route on this one.
Change your configuration like this:
no ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 track GigabitEthernet0/0 123
no ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 200.122.102.1 254
IP route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 dhcp
IP route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 200.122.102.1 254
Now if you want to follow the first route look at this document:
http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/iOS/dial/configuration/guide/dia_rel_stc_rtg_bckup.html#wp1065528

If you do not see the radio interfaces, I would think that the AP is bad. I would look in to get a RMA number

GNS3 3745 - no switch connectivity
Hi all
use GNS3, and than switch 16port module. I created an instance of PC and connection to f/0/0, which is a port of layer 3, I can connect through Layer 3 IPs. Then, I reconfigured and connected to the instance of PC through a layer 2 port f2/0 which is part of the switch 16port module. The 16 ports are by default in the vlan 1. I have assigned an IP address of 10.1.9.1/24 to the VLAN and gave the PC 10.1.9.2/24. I can't ping and I can not even ping 10.1.9.1, VLAN 1 IP. Did I miss something? Thank you.

How activate/connect with SSH?
For Beta3 release notes say is a new feature ' secure connection: you can now connect to the Tablet using Secure Shell (SSH) and download files from your application using SCP and SFTP.
The simulator of listening on port 22 (the SSH standard) or any other port for SSH connections, with or without active development mode does not have a vanilla installation.
I found the blackberry connect program in the SDK bin folder and tried this after creating a RSA2 key:
c:\>blackberry-connect -targetHost 192.168.7.172 -devicePassword x PROGRESS: Connecting to target 192.168.7.172:4455 PROGRESS: Authenticating with target 192.168.7.172:4455 PROGRESS: Encryption parameters verified PROGRESS: Authenticating with target credentials. PROGRESS: Successfully authenticated with target credentials. PROGRESS: Sending ssh key to target 192.168.7.172:4455 Connection refused: Invalid ssh key contents. The target actively refused the connection. Please ensure that qconnDoor is running on the target. PROGRESS: Unable to send ssh key to target
The fichier.ssh/id_rsa.pub is generated as a SSH-1 using PuttyGen key. I also tried a file SSH-2 RSA with the same results.
The fact that he said that he "succesfully authenticated" it suggests successfully connected... probably using port 443 (https) the way I guess that deploy blackberry is. However, after that he seems to say my key is not valid (not sure, I believe that), but also actively target "connection refused" (I think that... qconn is not listening on port 8000 or another).
Any who have knowledge of this area, or wild guess I can try?
OK, I am able to connect through SSH. It's a little complicated at the moment but I'll simplify and post a recipe as soon as I can.
For anyone technical enough to follow with minimal intervention:
- I generated a 4096-bit RSA key using 'ssh-keygen - b 4096' on a Linux machine, recording in the format 'test_rsa' and 'test_rsa.pub '.
- I transferred those to my Windows box.
- I called "blackberry-connect targetHost - PCMGM - devicePassword x - test_rsa.pub sshPublicKey."
This operation transfers the public key in the device by connecting through qconn (port 4455) using unknown protocols. The output looks like this:
PROGRESS: Connecting to target 192.168.7.172:4455 PROGRESS: Authenticating with target 192.168.7.172:4455 PROGRESS: Encryption parameters verified PROGRESS: Authenticating with target credentials. PROGRESS: Successfully authenticated with target credentials. PROGRESS: Sending ssh key to target 192.168.7.172:4455 PROGRESS: ssh key successfully transfered. PROGRESS: Succesfully Connected
Blackberry connect program continues to run, and as long as it is running at this point the Simulator will be listening for SSH connections on port 22.
At this point, I had to take the test_rsa (the private key) file and import it into Puttygen using Conversions-> import menu button. Save the private key, and load the key in the pageant.
Finally, normally connect using PuTTY at the address PCMGM and sign in as "devuser". This was discovered by looking in the /accounts folder using a primitive file browser application, where I found two subfolders, 1000 / and devuser.
