  The Aspire S7-392-9439 (NX. MBKAA.015) is sold by Microsoft stores and has a load Signature Microsoft. A Signature Microsoft support: there is no third-party software installed in order to improve the operating system. Other than that, the systems are identical in material and specifications.

  So the question is, if I want to install XP, where can I find the driver for 3G module manually?
  Is the component of another driver driver?
  -Does anyone know the name and the type of this module 3G? In my view, the module is provided by aint Toshiba of the seller.

  Anyone have any experience with XP on R500 11 K?

  The pilot of the 3G is not available on the Toshiba page

  Seems that the driver has been downloaded not however the Portégé R500 was delivered with a * Novatel MSM6275 card * ThreeG (Qualcomm should be manufacturing the chip) and if you want, you could try to download the driver of the 3rd site part.

  My world of PC Pavilion provided is albelled dv6-1211em, but shows it as a dv5-1211ea tune. I was badly sold?

  Bought from PC World as refurbished about eighteen months ago unfortunately. Unlike model only came to light when I was trying to update the graphics card (which I discovered that you can't do) and tune did a scan of my machine and threw the model number anomaly. Too late to go back, but I must be much more careful in the future.

  Hi all

  Well, this is my first time ever having a laptop of Toshiba. I've owned Asus over the years that lasted more than 3 years, but I thought it was time to change. In addition, when Harvey Norman announced 40% on all laptops Toshiba, it was a rare opportunity to grab a good deal - literally. I watched a few cheaper computers Toshiba laptops, but with 40% reduction, decided to go to almost the top model - Qosmio X 500/04N PQX33A-04N00J. With its high-end features and a lot of power and double hard drives and massive 18.5 "1920 x 1080 Full HD displays was the best laptop value available. The rest of the specifications were a bonus.

  The only thing that concerned me was that this model has 6MB L3 Cache, not 8 MB and the GPU is the Nvidia 360 M, instead of the 460 M, but then again I don't play games on this system but will play BluRay movies. I use high range like CS5 etc Adobe applications, but I really really would notice that a difference in daily use compared to the other model Qosmio X 500/06C PQX33A-06C02C? As for the laptop itself, it has more features that I could never imagined in a laptop, mainly dual hard drives, and the keyboard backlight, which is a very rare feature to find these days and should be more banal.

  Given that it normally sells for $3 199 and I paid only about $1,600 for this, the extra $400 for the top model could be a waste.

  Yes, the Qosmio X 500 has specifications really high-end and it s supermodel I think. Very fast hardware and you have a lot of power for all multimedia applications.

  Well, if you don't play games t you will not see a difference between 360 M nVidia and 460 M map graphic. Even the 360 M is very good for gaming and card it s chart always high performance.
  Also the difference between 6 MB and 8 MB of L3 Cache you will not see. Maybe some reference programs will show a difference, but in reality, there is no difference in my opinion.

  For Windows, Photoshop and blu - ray movies on the specs are great and everything will work perfectly. So you can have lots of fun with your new X 500! :)

• Pages export to Word using the model of NEWSLETTER, issue 1 of page spacing

  QUESTION: Anyone know if model NEWSLETTER (and or Museum Brochure) correctly export to .docx and how delete images or change the text boxes using these models so that I am still able to export properly?

  I used the NEWSLETTER model, whose Pages can export to .docx and then import to .docx (I don't know if that Word can do, but Pages indicates it would be).

  Problem: after the header of the newsletter, I removed the photo and have floating only the areas of text underneath.  I have two pages, the 2nd page export perfect (a page break separates it from the first).  On the first page, there are 12 small boxes in two columns under the heading who generously and easily fit on the first page.  It is not unlike the model I have, however, but with no photos.  I've seen many templates use these 'boxes' in support of the columns of text on a page, I don't think the floating box would be a problem.  However, I like the wish of floating boxes to learn how to use them so that they "work".

  I saw immediately that the text boxes, I added, when export and imported .docx, lose their place and float under the heading (NEWSLETTER) (superimposed text, bad page layout).

  I noticed the paragraph (carriage return, Enter) symbols, while I moved around text boxes, had become interlaced between the boxes, but not all - 1/2 at the bottom of page.  I then noticed that attempt to remove the superfluous paragraph runs in .pages (after repositioning all the boxes), but aggravated .docx, also the Pages do not leave even to remove the first symbol (it mystifies me, because the models do not appear to use paragraph at all except inside the floating boxes).

  Finally, I added enough symbols paragraph so that there was a conflict between each text box, but not as much as Word decide to add a blank page.  I had to make sure the columns are too wide - they should be 1/4 "part we will tell.  THAT APPEARED TO WORK.  Pages exported and imported it point by point I was happy.

  But when my Advisor job achieved and open in Word (the one for Windows 7), the SAME problem, I had before setting the transport returns appeared: the two decoders or four are overlapping the title, and set the person must have inserted transport returns before the first text box to move it all down (which seemed to work - but failed as an export and no not to use practice later).  'good work '.  Fortunately, I also have attatched a PDF export, however the person had asked to change their PLU using high government dell.

  Well, we have said for years in this community if you want stressless, architecture native document exchange with Windows Word users that you need to use the most recent Word available on the Mac.

  Pages is not a clone of Word, and Apple does not guarantee that the open translation process / export from/to the architecture of document Word will remain faithful to the original of the document formatted.

  In response to your questions:

  1. If you have document objects in a model with x on their border, and then the object is locked. You visit the tab Pages to reorganize v5, and downstairs you can unlock these objects for further editing, or deletion.

• Microsoft 1025 standard wireless optical mouse model

  I have a microsoft 1025 standard wireless optical mouse model. The right button has stopped working. Is used in conjunction with Microsoft Wireless MuliMedia keyboard 1.1 model 1014. They came as a package. Have removed the mouse cktbd switch and tested for continuity. Test failed. Others have found in the forums with similar but not same prob.

  Here are a few solutions that I came up with.

  1. New mouse and wireless keyboard (really don't want to)
  2. Replace the switch if possible (can do if I can a provider)
  3. Use the mouse to odifferent if same freq (not likely)
  4. Purchase used one, if one is (also unlikely)
  5. Suggestions appreciated

  If anyone has any other suggestions, they would be really useful.

  I solved this by disabling the BUTTON to the RIGHT.

  Open CONTROL PANEL

  Click the installed mouse

  and CHANGE the SETTINGS

  Also try to UPDATE DRIVER

  Hello, a newbie here.

  Bought an Aspire S7-392.   Upgrade to Windows 8.1.   Partitioned the SSD to 2 discs.   The Intel RST displays error that the SDD0 may have some errors that could cause data problems.

  I chatted with representatives of acer support.  He advised me to reinstall Windows 8, restore factory default.  Has made the whole process back to 8.1.  TSRI error persists.  To speak with another representative from ACER who told me to just ignore it! and I wasn't expecting.  Now I don't know what kind of trouble I could end up with.

  Let me know of any recommendation.

  I don't know if it is a hardware or software RAID0, but if a RAID0 fails, you cannot start even to your OS, since the data are split in two between the 2 "array disks" and lose 1 disc means you have lost 50% of your data. (very basic explanation)

  so I think it's a mistake to false, but if your system has a hardware RAID, you can check the condition before starting the system.

  EDIT: give it a reboot and check if the error reappears.

• S7 392-9439 RAM

  I bought a new 392-9439 S7 with 256 GB SSD, 8 GB of RAM and CPU Intel i7-4500U.  for use while pursuing my master's degree in engineering.  I thought that I would run a lot of data intensive programs and I wanted portability so I went with this model.  Plus, I got a lot from the Microsoft online store and did not get the usual bloat-ware.  While its been a great machine for use at school, I now work in big data, and I'm under reports humongous - exponentially larger than my original intent.

  I have now 3 computers, and although Acer is always the fastest and most compatible with each other, I still need better data shredding ability.  Before you go out and buy a desktop computer with 3 + GHz and 16 GB of RAM, I would like to know if I am able to upgrade the RAM in my 392?  As I said, it has the 8 GB, and I would like to inrease it to 16 if I can.

  First, before I open the case and look around, is RAM soldered to the Commission?  Or can I simply pass out?

  Second, if the RAM is welded, I certainly don't try to change it.  But can I use some of the SSD to create a virtual disk (I read about it online, but I am skeptical as to whether or not it will help)?  That positively or negatively affect his ability to crunch enormous data sets?

  I recently bought a new Aspire S7 392 74508G25tws, everything works great except for the touch screen.

  I formatted my laptop already but that did not help anything. Tried to reinstall the HID drivers (not sure if it matters), but which has not given results so...

  I do not have the icon pen or touch in my systeminfo and said touch screen is not possible with this screen. But on all sites it says that this guy has a touch screen: /...

  Any ideas how can I fix? or what I need to return to the factory .

• Start of SDS on HP Envy model: m7-j020dx

  Recently, I placed an SSD of 256 to bay 2 in my Envy 17 model: m7-j020dx.  I cloned the drive, making it another 8.1 Win bootable disc.  The drive works very well, but unfortunately I can't change the startup disk.  The usual F9 key brings you to the menu of boot, but unlike most BIOSes, you are not able to select the second drive.  You can change the order but only to USB etc.  All solutions?

  Exchange readers in 2 bays. Only the main Bay is bootable.
