  Welcome to the HP Forums!

  I understand that your HP MediaSmart software does not work properly.

  Try to uninstall then reinstall the MediaSmart Photo software to rebuild libraries from scratch. This should fix the paths of the files corrupt or metadata causing problems.

  You can download it here: HP MediaSmart Photo software. (Assuming you're on Windows 7 yet.)

  Make sure that your photos are not registered in the MediaSmart directory. If they are, move them to a safe place like images or a folder on the desktop.

  Change your Interface of Photoshop preferences and make sure that your Photoshop UI scaling is set to 100%, not 200% or Auto...

  So I have a weird problem.   'Factory unlocked' means it was never locked to a carrier, he bought unlocked. 'GSM Unlocked' means it has unlocked now but says nothing about its previous state. 'SIM Free' usually means the same as "factory unlocked.

  So actually, I bought this cause laptop I remember trying the new laptop from my mother-in-law a few years ago and I loved it cause it was incredible fast and can run all games on ultra settings more it was extremely cheap in the store, like $ 900 (I didn't know that it is only cheap until after I had bought mine online). I bought mine online from a normal store and it costs about 1, 4 k dollars. But the big disadvantage was that when I got mine, mine was nowhere near as fast as my parents laptop o_o it was exactly the same laptop, blus I paid almost double for her.   Thank you for the information. I have a few steps for you to follow.

  1. plug the laptop directly into the wall socket for charger the portable computer is running.

  2. check that the power settings are not on energy saving modes.

  3 using Microsoft System Configuration (Windows 7) go to the Boot tab > go to advanced settings > and uncheck the number of processors.

  4. click on Appy or save and restart the computer.

  This should solve the problem you are experiencing.

  Diagnostic HP online support a wireless card problem, sent a replacement wireless card.

  Not installed, no improvement. Same behavior.

  After several hours with HP support, we have reloaded windows as a last resort.

  This fixed the problem of wireless-N with the ralink wireless card.

  I have created the restore point, applied updates (windows update) via the hp support assistant.

  Eventially has all the recommended updates and ended with several update option.

  Make a restore point

  Load the update of Microsoft as an option for ralink (975 k no id #), he again DEFEATED Wireless-n.

  Create a new layer 2. Fill it with green #00ff00 (content doesn't really count).

  Add a layer mask to the layer 2.

  Wear this mask during installation.

  Paste the contents of the Clipboard.  The pipette noted the content of the mask as K 59%.

  I expect 50% gray (or K 50%). Why have I not 59% K?

  preserve the levels of gray. Indeed, when I replace the first 50% of grey with a black and white gradient.
