Unreadable menu fonts

I had this problem before. Resolved itself, he popped up again.
This product w/FFox, Nightly 64 bit and Waterfox.

The problem is that the menu items, including in the bookmarks bar, are illegible.
When I click on a menu or use the Ko, the menu scrolled down and the police is so small that it is unrecognizable.
Sometimes the police will be of normal size, but when you navigate in the menu the police will go from OK to unreadable. If you move the mouse around the menu the police will sometimes appear back to normal. Sometimes using the KB to navigate in the menu works, sometimes it's like the mouse.

  • This isn't a matter of font size. Add on will help. Not a style issue *.

I am running Win 7 home.
I... completely cleaned my computer off FFox. Uninstall all versions, remove the Mozilla folder. The only thing I've done (just thought of it now) was to delete the registry entries.
I have DL had a new copy of FFox and Wfox and the same problem w/no Add ons.

In the last thread on the subject, now closed, they told me to play with True Type fonts, but when I went to the option doesn't seem to be there.

Hello. This sounds like a problem with hardware acceleration - try it please update your graphics driveror in case this does not solve the problem, or there is no new version available at the time, disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > General.

  • Menu fonts lists each weight for each font

I have a problem frustrating where Photoshop CC (2014) lists each weight for each font in the menu fonts MAIN. So when I open the menu, it looks like this:

    Arial Italic

    Arial Regular

    Arial Bold

    Light of the future

    Future of light Oblique

    Book of the future

    The future Roman

    Future Book Oblique

    etc.

    When it has usually just:

    Arial

    Future

    etc.

(with weights chosen only in the secondary menu).

I tried almost all the stuff on the page resolution of police problems , nothing done (remove the fonts, I added, clearing cache fonts Adobe, cache system font, etc.). Screen fonts to work properly in Illustrator CC (2014) as well as in other applications, so this is a problem specific to Photoshop.

  • Firefox menu fonts. The menus are incredibly small and impossible to read.

18 AND FOLLOWING. Menu bookmark police is impossible to read. It must be devices.4 font (not FOUR, but the size of the decimal point).
This isn't a case of the police being too small, there is some sort of bug where menus change size.
If you click alt the menus pop up and are normal but if you use the arrows to naviage the elements of the jump for super small size.
Same thing w / the mouse, but sometimes the cursor in a certain place will bring them ack to normal. Sometimes they just go for some weird size but only you move the mouse.

    Hi crfugitt ,

Try to navigate to Edit > preferences > categories select 'Général' and for the option "Touch Mode" select "Always" from the menu drop down. Also the option "No scaling" of the grid of the screen resolution option.

Click OK, and then restart Acrobat Reader.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Cannot change font sizes.  Remains always the same unreadable tiny font regardless of size that I select.  What have I done that creates the problem perhaps?

Yesterday, I had no problem.  Today, I was unable to choose fonts of various sizes.  No matter the size, that I select, the police remains very, very small and unreadable.  Have I got something done inadvertently that would help my problem?  I thank for information, you may be able to provide!

  • Menu fonts too small Dreamweaver - how to resize

    Hi all

I use dreamweaver with the cloud that I just installed today.  The menu and the other fonts in dereamweaver are small enough to be unusable except session inch monitor (ie. the keyboard).  Is it possible to make them bigger, so I can see them?  Mode code etc I can expand, but it does not help much if I do not see the menus.  I tried the system font settings, etc nothing works.  If not, is - can anyone recommend another program with larger font menu?  Thank you.

    @ davemk3d,.

The last update to Dreamweaver (13.2.1) is now available and recommended for users of Windows 8. This fix allows users to use Dreamweaver on the screens to Windows 8 high resolution.

The default resolution and "recommended" for my two monitors lenovo is 1920 x 1080. I have a new system and I tried for a few weeks now to something to work with screen resolution and third-party apps. I am under W7 Pro right now, but will soon be getting to 10.

The high resolution is not a problem in 7 with any Microsoft stuff. With the help of a custom of the DPI setting takes care of all the native stuff. Some third-party applications can be set as well. For example, Corel Photo Paint X 7 has bars of detachable command with command icons that can be set to small, medium or large. When the size of the icon is changed, the size of the font adjusts accordingly and it is perfectly feasible, acknowledging the icons or by reading the text. It is perfect for this dual screen system and works like a charm.

However, most of other software companies are not quite as respectful of their clients. Bryce, formerly owned by Corel, but now DAZ despicable, is not removable toolbars and there is no options available to adjust the sizes of icons in order. Even if preferences to provide an engaging, multiple monitor option not to release the toolbars or increase the font size. It only opens the Bryce "Labs" in the second monitor in a position at the end of the dialog box, half of the Cup.

It also applies even in a top of the range of applications such as VIEW and Smith Micro, Poser Pro. They present menus and toolbar icons that are so tiny, it is necessary to use the Magnifier Microsoft to make and which isn't real solution when your work with graphics programs. It's incredibly awkward.

My old system, running XP Pro, SP3, which I always put in place and operational, has a screen resolution of 1280 X 768, and it displays all the software of third party very well. If I try to use this resolution with W7 and these monitors high resolution, I get a crushed image down and half on the screen which is useless. I can read everything very well, but all images are short and fat! If it was possible to type values for the height and width, using an infinite scale rather than the fixed scale that is provided by the slider over, nicked in W7, it would be possible to find a combination that worked. Then, once the wreck was set for third party stuff, the custom DPI settings Windows could take care of the native stuff.

I had an Oracle VirtualBox running for awhile and loaded the third of things out there and it worked for awhile but it did not offer the ability double screen and, in any case, after awhile it started to get really uptight and I finally just had to get rid of.

Really, I would be much happier if I could just load XP Pro on this machine and do run as quickly as things that made to run on it. The only reason why I got a new system was the need for more speed and muscle. But if I can't use my favorite, applications worth it?

Is there no workaround solution that will make it possible to adjust the resolution so that the third-party applications are fully functional using all the space on the screen?

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read and respond.

Since no one answered I'll provide the solution myself. Doing right thing 'upgrade' to Windows 10 has this problem of resolution.

Other than that, getting W10 to work even at halfway was a nightmare.

  • Menu fonts in Control Panel does not

    InDesign CCScreenSnapz001.jpg

In the picture above, I'm changing the text font Frutiger Light to Frutiger Black highlight. As you can see, I chose black in the drop down, but the police does not change in the document. It is a problem just now, but it seemed set in a last updated. But with the recent update of ID, it seems that the problem is back. If I click on the small triangle to the left of the F in Frutiger and select black from the dropdown the text selected change to black. But selecting black results in the variation (or whatever the box under the name of police box is called) no change in the text even if the control panel said he should be Frutiger Black. This occurs with any font, not only of Frutiger.

Does anyone else know this behavior or am I alone? Y at - it a cure?

I uninstalled CC2015 and then went and removed everything I could find in the library (Application Support, preferences, etc.) related to Indesign. Also excluded the old folder Indesign 2015 the applications folder. Reinstalled Indesign and reinstalled the 3rd party plugins, one at a time to check and see if one of them was responsible by the strange behavior. Everything is installed and the type Panel works as it should. Must have been a little bug in the works that is causing this problem.

    Thanks for the quick response.
