UNTRAPPED EXCEPTION: Appname (123) Application is unresponsive; process is completed

Hello guys

I am facing the problem as eception exception.

How to solve it?

IAM using JDE 4.2.1 8800 Simulator.

I don't know why this problem occurs.

TNX guys'

you are probably causing a blocking or block the event thread too long.
difficult to intercept this error. surround your enterEventDispatcher with a try/catch and try to analyze stacktrace etc.

    I get this message when I try to add a contact in my phonebook. Seem to have this problem after the installation of the animated avatars vol 2 on my 9300 curve 3G OS 5. Tried to delete the app, remove the battery while the phone was still on and even tried the upgrade of the OS 6. But no avail. Teribbly disappointed that BB has some questions for the simple requirement to add and edit contacts.

    Hi all

    Guess what... Finally managed to solve this headache.

    Just remove any applications you may have recently updated / delete applications that were recently installed before the error started actually took place. After that, disconnect the battery while the phone is always "on" and reboot the phone.

    In fact I had deleted a whole bunch of applications to facilitate my upgrade of the OS that I had not enough memory on my instrument.  This not only helped solve my problem mentioned above, but also makes my phone restarts in less than 3 minutes (restarting earlier was done in no less than 15 minutes!).

    So my conclusion from the above incidents is to keep your apps in the strict minimum so that your phone performs the best.

    PS: While looking for solutions to the problems, I had seen a lot of similar problems and strongly think that such problems are why BB and will lose their strog holds in the country even as the United States and the Canada. No one would ever even to have a phone that is unable to add contacts to their directory.  So BB really needs to work on the defective Apps on the app as well as world at least, existing clients are not courted by Android and I have phones.

    I have PhoneListener custom (up to AbstractPhoneListener).

    Animation is indicated, but after a few seconds he broke down with the error.

    Thanks for help.

    I solved the problem by adding some Thread.yield () in the wire of animation loop.

    The problem is Simulator suspended for a little time when disconnects the call. I guess, it's simultaor only 8900 problem.

    However, I changed my code and treatment events throug global event listener.

When I click on the "purchase" once again, it shows me "I already paid it, pls go to my world and update its list.» (Error ID 30222) "and I click"Refresh list"to My World, it shows me: Eception exception: Application net_rim_bb_appworld (283) is unresponsive. the process is completed. And I tried to download the App World from: http://www.blackberry.com/appworld but it always shows uncaught exception message ~ please tell me how to download "throw it!"? Thank you, David.

    David, please do a reboot on the BlackBerry this way simple: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    Now:

    1. open the App World
    2. go to my world
    3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press "RST."
    3. for the storm - hold the num-lock ('! 123 ") button so that it hangs and then click on '(34).
    4. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  • Eception exception: Application test1 (176) does not. process is completed

    My application appear error message "Eception exception: Application test1 (176) does not; the process is completed. ", by searching on this forum, it seems that the queue is full." I have a timer thread that publishes events to the event from the queue by like that

    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .invokeLater (new Runnable()

    {

    public void run() {}
    any code to update the user interface

    }

    });

    My Question: Is there a way to check how full (number of items) is the queue of the event? What is the maximum elements it may contain?

    A related question:

    Can I replace all the invokeLater() call with UI code in a worker thread associated with acquiring the lock of the event running?

    synchronized (UiApplication.getUiApplication () .getAppEventLock ())
    {
    any code to update the user interface

    }

    This code runs in a worker thread but held event lock, no problem with this code?

    You don't mention your test environment.

    If it's in a real device, you can use the Javaloader utility to retrieve the log of events to a text file, using the USB cable. This utility is provided with the JDE, but you will need to have a recent version of Desktop Manager isntalled to get the current USB drivers for your device.

    Another method (which works on the SIM and the device), is to view the log of the events on the device running or the Simulator.

    For non touch devices, go to the home screen and type:

    L G L G

    To contact devices, go to the home screen and hold the «?» 123"key for a few seconds, then type ', 5, 5".

  • Smartphones blackBerry eception exception: Application net_rim_medialibraryplayer (291) does not. process is completed

    Hello world

    I'm listening to music with my blackberry 9700, but as soon as I select a title and click on play all crashes and I have to restart the device.

    After indicating my pin code, I get the error message "eception exception: Application net_rim_medialibraryplayer (291) does not; process is completed.

    What this means and what I can do about it?

    Your help is really appreciated.

    Thank you very much in advance.

    Miriam

    Hi and welcome to the forums!

    "After indicating my pin code, I get the error message" eception exception: Application net_rim_medialibraryplayer (291) does not; process is completed.

    Do you mean your device is password protected, and you enter the "pin" or you

    must enter a PIN in order to listen to a song?

    I guess that your support is on a memory card, if you take it off you have the same error?

    No problem with the ringtones and alerts?

    The first step would be a traction battery as shown below.

    No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.
    Replace after one minute, let the device reboot 10 minutes, see if the problem is corrected. I like to leave the device completely reindex the files.

    If this doesn't solve your problem, try raising the phone in safe mode;

     KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode.

    Check the settings of your media card, if they are correct, reverse them and reset. Then battery pull.

    Use the following settings in the segment of memory of the menu options.
    (options > memory)
    Card support ON
    NONE encryption mode
    Media transfer protocol WE
    WE support mass storage
    Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

    (still in status > scroll to security options > encryption0)

    Make sure of course have no content protection enabled.

    Battery pull what happens?

    If all else fails, I would use the following to verify your card (save the media BEFORE!)
     ' KB14745 ' " Memory card error, please use disk utility control on computer" is displayed on the home screen of the smartphone BlackBerry.

    I've left the best for last, which would be a wipe and charging the device, OS, after a full backup successful device using Desktop Manager.

    Try and see if you can get the following error information:

    KB17215 How to extract information from a BlackBerry smartphone with the Chargers or incorrect command line tool

    And the last would be the device OS reload.

    KB13323 Untrapped exception errors appear on the BlackBerry smartphone

    Let us know how it goes!

    I recently experience "Eception exception: Application myapplication(253) does not; the process is completed. "on"BOLD".  myapplication here indicates the name of the application that I've done.

    could someone tell me what can cause this problem? I appreciate it. My request is almost launched!

    This occurs when filling out your application event queue. The usual reason for this is that you hold the thread of events for too long. For example, you perform a CPU work as oprganizing some data structures of a method in a graphical interface.

    When this problem occurs, the operating system will force a dump stack for all applications currently running trace. You must retrieve the log of the events on the device and to find the trace of your application stack. Once you do this, you will probably identify the offending code that monopolizes the processor.

    Once you identify the offending code, you must either change as the event thread is not be monopolized, or possibly isolate the procedure in its own thread so that the event thread can return to sender system.

    It will work! After doing research, you need to delete programs such as yahoo messenger and Windows live ON your phone. They interfere with the address book (uncaught Exceptions is a program that appears when problems arrive). Another thing you don't use or that is not supported by your version must example from applications of police etc. After you uninstall these restart your phone and you have, no more exceptions. Especially delete yahoo and windows live messenger, otherwise it will not work. I am convinced that it works bc I just did this, then your host in advance. Have a good

    HII, I got an error for the last 2-3 days. Whenever I try to call a contact that is selected in the addressbok, the unit freezes and none of the keys work. After some time (2-3 minutes), a message saying "Eception exception: Application net_rim_bb_addressbook_app (665) does not; the process is complete"appears on the screen. Hello! Welcome to the forums.

    Have you downloaded an application until this happens? If so, I suggest to remove this application.

    If not, try to do a hard reset (remove the battery and the sim, put it back in after 1 to 3 minutes)

    Also try to do this, go to your address book and press alt-RBLD

    Good luck!

    Please read this message before doing anything.

    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

    Step 1

    The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

    Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

    While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.

    Test while signed in as a guest. Same problem?

    After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.

    * Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create a new account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.

    Step 2

    The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is caused by changes in the system of third party that load automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

    Please take this step regardless of the results of step 1.

    Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

    Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

    Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

    The login screen is displayed even if you normally connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

    Test in safe mode. Same problem?

    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of steps 1 and 2.

  • iCal - * terminating app due to an untrapped exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'this NSPersistentStoreCoordinator has no persistent store (unknown).  He is unable to perform a backup operation

    About a month after moving to OS X 10.11.3 calendar application does not load. I thought that ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iCal deletion would empty it. I no longer get the error earlier, even if it also started with the ApplicationSpecificInformation:

    * End app because of the untrapped exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'this NSPersistentStoreCoordinator has no persistent store.  He is unable to perform a backup operation

    Don't know what to do next to timing of recovery. Can someone give me some pointers?

    Please, back up all data. If you have iCloud calendars, archive them by following the instructions on this page under the heading "download a calendar of iCloud.com." all you need is a web browser, not the calendar application. Do the same with the other calendars of network you have, if possible.

    Before taking each of these steps, quit (leave by force if necessary) application. After taking stage, recovery and test. When the problem is solved (or when you have completed step 3 without resolving), stop and close the library folder.

    Step 1

    Hold down the option key and select

    Go ▹ library

    in the Finder menu bar. In the folder that opens, move these items (some may not exist) to the trash, leaving the open library folder:

    Calendars/calendar Cache

    Calendars/calendar Cache-shm

    Calendars/calendar Cache-wal

    Step 2

    Move these files to the library folder on the desktop (even once, some cannot exist):

    Containers/com.apple.CalendarAgent (and all others with a start of name in 'com.apple.Calendar')

    Containers/com.apple.iCal (and all others with a name in 'com.apple.iCal' beginning)

    Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist

    Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist

    If the problem is resolved, you may be able to put some of the items you have moved in this stage, recovery and testing after each of them. Finally, you can find the one that caused the problem; Delete it. Re-create your settings if necessary.

    If the problem is not yet solved, put back to each of the points you have moved in this step, crushing the that may have been created in its place. Do not put the files that you moved in step 1.

    Step 3

    Move this folder on the desktop:

    Calendars

    Note: you do not move the application to calendars; you move a folder named "calendars". If there is no change, put the folder back where he was.

    If the problem is resolved after you move the calendars folder, the event database is corrupted. You have these choices:

    Restore the snapshot folder Time Machine or another backup prior to corruption.

    Use a third party application like "Calendar cleaner" (not tested by me) to try to repair the database.

    For the calendar network accounts, such as iCloud, all you need to do is re-enter the preferences. For subscribed calendars, simply re - subscribe.

  • Can not explain the error: untrapped exception articinterface...

    A user of my application is receving this error message when it tries to run on its new 8330 with 4.3.0.0. In the 8330 running 4.3.0.128 Simulator, there is not this problem nor any other Simulator. I don't use that classes more vanilla in my programs and this error is a surprise ot me.

    This sounds like a defective phone?

    Kind regards

    Scott

    I found the solution to the problem.

    According to a person on the EDGE, there is a problem with the 4.5 OS and LabelField class. By using the BasicEditField class to show the text rather than LabelField, stopped except that occur.

    I do not understand why this error occurred with my program in particular. I did a lot of programs which implement LabelField, and which cause no error on devices running 4.5.

    Scott

    PS the precise error message was "Eception exception: ArticInterface:ocPosToCaret: error 3; formatting of the text = 46 "length
