Untrusted security site
Hello out there. I have a HP 14 Chromebook and a printer HP 4502. I tried to use the scan and it won't. The printer message is none found computer. There are a number of answers here how to make so that he could analyze and they involve going to the SAP. I have but when I get to the point where I press the security line, I get the warning of security of the site is not approved. Is there a safe way to go beyond that, or should I even try? In addition, the IP is 10.0.0.4.

Hi Brewer3392,
Welcome to the Forums of HP's Support. I understand that you have found a security pop up when you try to use your printer Envy 4502 (EWS) integrated Web server.
Choosing to continue will not damage your computer while you browse the built-in Web server to your printer. If you encounter this error outside EWS of your printer, your computer might be at risk. You can find this information in the document, the printer does not maintain the wireless connection.

V27 Firefox expires now access to a secure site
From v26 to v27 Firefox no longer has access to a secure site (Timeout with connection reset message). Critical problem that my clients can no longer be at the cash register if they are using the latest version of FireFox. When it stopped working, I went to another machine (Windows 7 64-bit) running v26 and it worked very well - then upgrade V27 (the ONLY thing that has changed is the update) and it has stopped working. The two machines to access the server secure via IE11 without problem.
Just got a message from my support for the shopping cart system and they confirm that v27 prevents access to the secure server (so nothing to do with my "machines" or network - it's a bug of Firefox).
Does anyone know when this critical error introduced in v27 is likely to be fixed?
Thank you very much.
Hi Philippe,.
Yes, after a lot of work to reconfigure the servers they finally got it to work.
Thanks a lot for your help :-)

If I go to a secure site and click on a link, it take me to "Oops Page cannot be found". I have reset Firefox, uninstalled and re installed, disabled my Add Ons and any other suggestions for the forum. Nothing works and that this does not happen with IE. Is the bottom line that I have to use IE for these sites? I prefer Firefox but can not solve this problem.
You found, buddy. It was my AVG Security Toolbar. My computer will be vulnerable to the virus if it is disabled?
Once again, thank you very much for your time.

When I go to a secure site the usual security lock is not present at the bottom of the page
I upgraded my browser Firefox 6.0.1 and now when I enter a secure site the security lock is no longer present at the bottom of the page.
The status bar is gone and the 'blocking' with her, from Firefox 4.0. Safety information on a web page are shown by the Site identity button.
The former lock could give users a false sense that a site is safe to not to provide information to the site and showed that there is a secure connection that does not guarantee that you are connected to the right server. The Site identity button is introduced in Firefox 3.0 to show more complete information of 'identity' for HTTPS web pages.

When you connect to secure sites, there was a lock on the lower right part of the page that shows that the site is safe and secure. If the secure Web site wasn't sure a red line would cover the lock. I don't have it more since I've updated from 3.8 to 6. Are my secure such as banking etc. always secure sites. Why have I lost this lock symbol?
Padlock is therefore more part of Firefox; It has been removed from Firefox 4 the cadenas watch there is a secure connection, but provides no additional information. You could make a typographical error, and have always been connected to a secure connection. The lock was replaced in Firefox 3 with the Site identity button. I've upgraded to Firefox 4.01 and I can't find the little yellow padlock that appears when I logged into a secure site, as my bank or billing site like my electric or cable bill. I really need to see this icon, because it feels so dangerous to do without him appearing somewhere in the browser! Help... I need to check my bank balance!
The status bar everything has been redesigned, so now allows you to check if the site is secure the box to the left of the address (green, blue or plain).

The "secure" (lock) icon no longer appears on the status bar (or anywhere else I can find) when you go to a secure web page. How can I get the 'secure site' (padlock) icon to display when you access a web page secured with Firefox 4?

I do not see the padlock on secure sites, recently downloaded v.4
I have a MacBook Air and always in the past saw the displayed lock when you access secure sites. Recently, I noticed the padlock is not showing do not. I recently downloaded version 4 of Firefox, but cannot swear that the problem started immediately after this download, unfortunately. Any ideas?

How can I restore the dialog box warning for the opening of a secure site?
I want to restore the warning box that tells me when I'm entering a secure site. Who warns when I leave a secure site works very well. I have probably not checked the field at one time or another, but I can't find how to bring it back.
Seems that the warning for these parameters dialog box has moved from tools > Options > Security
You can reset the related preferences security.warn_ on the topic: config page.

Access secure site HTTP is preventing access to the administrator and security pages.
I'm trying to access the administrator and security settings, but when I select the option I get a message that I am connected to a secure site, and when I click OK there is a warning that tells me that I can meet with a message indicating that the certificate is not approved to continue anyway; I keep being stopped by the message: error system internal system error accompanied by what seems to be a status bar that does nothing and I can't continue after that screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Ben
I was not able to change my URL to get changes to compatibility mode, but I found a free application of IE button on Google Chrome app site that allowed me to make the changes to the printer settings.
Thanks for your suggestion!
