I received this email by apple store account... Well that's what it claims to be... I'm not sure if it's legitimate or not... someone got one of them before we get and how do I solve this problem...?

Looks like an expedition of phishing for me. Throw it away and ignore it.

tomsmig - just like akarydas2 said, you need to comment out the line 'That the groups' in the sshd_config file.  This is mentioned in the original vMA 6.0 release notes.  You can do this by logging in first at the VMAs as the user vi-admin and then running the following command:

    sudo vim/etc/ssh/sshd_config

Once in the file, arrow down to the line letter and press "Allow wheel groups' 'I' and then place a"#"at the beginning of the line.  The line will turn blue when it is commented out.

To save it, press "ESC" then enter a colon ":" and then type "wq" (write + quit)

Then, type: sudo reboot followed by the password admin-vi.

After the vMA has restarted, you can SSH via PuTTy using your [email protected] credentials.  There is no need to add "@vma1" to the end.  I hope this helps!

One with the login and two with the regerstation.

  • XP logon error

"under XP when I boot I get the classic Windows box and an error message that says that the system could not log you etc.".. .but I just click ok on the error message and continues to the normal window. I click on the admin button then it loads well, why is this error, when I boot? I'm not even on the screen of the classic logon user, I have the screen use 'Welcome' checked in the... user account if it is reading 2 accounts at the same time?

If I had to guess, I would say that you have "Auto login" active and credentials (username & password) provided for automatic login account are no longer valid.  When this happens, the automatic logon fails and you will be taken back to the login screen.  Try to use the following article to disable the Autologon feature:

I posted a discussion yesterday that included this question as well. But as I understand all the other parts and it is one that I can't know I posted a new discussion.

    Hope it's ok

whenever I call customer cloud with settings in the user interface (even in the same session) it keeps connect you (even though it says persistent). example:

Update: open a folder with VMware and CloudClient 4.2 there is now a change (not documented in release-ntoes).

If you enable suppress.status.messages (set it to true) in the cloudclient.config file is %UserPATH%\.cloudclient file now, it works as well for these newspapers villain in messages.

So, for example if I do now:

"cloudclient vra happy list - JSON format ' in commandhsell I get the result I want :-D

It always connects every time that delay the order of 20 seconds, but good. at least I can now use it in scripts

    old (4.1 and earlier)

    VRA CloudClient.bat retail machines - id $machineName - JSON - $exportPath export format

#output result of file (like I said... clumsy)

    $machineDetail = (get-Content - path $exportPath). ConvertFrom-json

    #check for a specific property

    $PropertyValue = $machineDetail.properties |? {$_.name - eq $propertyName} | Select-Object - expandProperty value

4.2. possible (because it only generates JSON no other recording!)

    $machineList = cloudclient.bat vra machines detail - id $machineName - JSON format

    #YAY!

    $machineDetail = $machineList | ConvertFrom-json

#check for a specific property value

    $PropertyValue = $machineDetail.properties |? {$_.name - eq $propertyName} | Select-Object - expandProperty value

  • Reviews of Linux "under tension" but is not accessible

I've created a guest Linux Fedora 19 using WS 9.0.2 under Win 7. The guest presents in the list of favorites like "under tension". There is not a tab for comments in ""my computer."" Nothing happens when I try to open the prompt or double-click it in the list of favorites. When the last in use, the guest appeared fail (black screen, not sensitive to the keyboard and mouse). I turned off the guest, but after waiting about 20 minutes he did not completely turned off. Given that I could not close WS, I ended by using the Windows taskbar at the end of the day Manager. The files in the directory of the virtual machine seem to be there.  I'd appreciate any help or suggestions on how to get control of the guest and try to run it. Thanks in advance.

Closing the VMware Workstation GUI does not complete the virtual machine that can run the VM is the process vmware-vmx, one for each virtual computer running.

If the vmware-vmx process still works with VMware Workstation closed and opened at the same time you cannot yet take control of the virtual machine, and then if you have remote login active you could ssh in the virtual machine and close properly.  Then try to run normally in VMware Workstation.  If you have VMware Tools installed in the virtual machine, you may be able to use vmrun to initiate a clean shutdown.

If none of those who are an option, then you can have no other choice that manually terminate the vmware-vmx process.  But unfortunately, it might corrupt the virtual hard drive, even though that's what backups are for and you will have no other choice anyway.

  • I have xp pro I have activated telephone went through all the steps said active windows computing took me to the login screen, but when I try to log in, it tells me I have activated windows

I have xp pro I have activated telephone went through all the steps said active windows computing took me to the login screen, but when I try to connect, it tells me that I need to activate windows so I click on activate the itr tells me that windows is already activated, then takes me in the newspaper and did the same thing

To delete the message you are already enabled, you can force the activation on reboot. If the wpa.dbl and wpa.bak are damaged, they can cause a problem.
    Restart in 'Safe Mode '.
Rename wpa.dbl and wpa.bak files located in the the\Windows\system32 folder
Now, the message must be deleted, and you can now re-enable. TaurArian [MVP] 2005-2010 - Update Services

  • Microsoft 'temporarily blocked my account due to unusual activity on your Windows Live account.' I tried ways to reset without success.

Help. What is going on? Microsoft 'temporarily blocked my account due to unusual activity on your Windows Live account.' The only explanation that I can think is little before closing, I have exchanged emails with someone who had strange astrology and text of vitamins in his e-mail, but why would close receiving this gibberish to the bottom of my ability to send an email?

I tried several things to fix the problem.

    (1) WLSC tried SMS a password for my phone, but the text I get from their share on the phone said "to meet with STOP or HELP. Send SMS HELP to WSLC did nothing.

    (2) WLSC also sent me a link to a "page of personal support" and a "PIN code", but the link opens a generic page. There is no place on the page to enter the PIN code.

I can access my Inbox windows live, but I can not send. I don't see the same messages I try to send in my Outbox / Finally, solve this problem when I received another email from WLSC

  • How to bypass the login screen of the mode standby in Windows 7 Professional with active screen saver

    Here is the solution/answer:

    1. go in Control Panel

    2. click on "personalization."

    3. on the lower right corner to say 'screen saver '. Click on screen saver.

    4. in the scree of Eve window between the 'Screensaver' name and the power management box is empty 'Wait' then 'minutes '.

Right of "minutes" is a block that says "on resume, display the login page.»

    5. If the "On Resume, the logon screen" box is check uncheck.

    6. click 'OK' your done

This works if you have an active screen saver and works.

    Good thing Mark a. Kite!

Anyone having this problem should also consult:

  • vMA 4.1 Active Directory (AD) integration login Restrictions

    Hello

Recently, I have deployed the vMA 4.1 in our environment through the integration of Active Directory (AD). My question is how to restrict the access of connection? Any domain user can connect to the vMA at the moment.

    Thank you

Yes, you can control this by taking a peek in the same configuration file located in /etc/likewise/lsassd.conf

You'll want to pick up the next section and update the list, allowing only certain groups or users to connect, this is how you would limit the access of connection for users/groups that you want to allow:

        # Allow only the following users and groups
        # to login to this system
        #
        # Note: Use a comma-separated list of
        #       { alias, NT4 style name, SID }
        #
        # require-membership-of = ABC\support group, ABC\joe, jane, S-1-5-21-3447809367-3151979076-456401374-513

Uncomment the demand-membership - in and provide your list separated by commas
