unwanted updates

I have a laptop G62 and receive a shield on the bottom bar who wants me to download jucheck.exe.  It has an unknown Publisher, original file is a hard drive on this computer.  I am skeptical about this okaying that I have no idea if it's safe or not, and what they offer for download.  Does anyone know if it is safe, what it does and why it comes separately from my automatic updates?  I clicked on the not much time button, but it comes back. Thanking you in advance.  Your VLR desperately, 19/03/2011

jucheck.exe is completely safe.

It's just a bit of an irritant because he wants to be updated very frequently. This is the update of Java in the Sun all java on the PC/notebook. The updater's just a necessary, unless you're a programmer java hardcore.

I would like to know how to hide an update that has already been installed. There is no box to hide an update. Also if I don't want an update that is offered to appear continuously updated optional, how I delete it from the list of available updates? There is no option in my windows update window to do one of these things. Vista Home Premium operating system.

In the list of available updates, place your mouse on the update that you want to hide, right-click, then choose 'hide '. You must be logged in as an administrator or have an administrator password to do so.

  • How to get rid of the unwanted update reminders

I get repeated reminders that I have 'updates important"... Windows constantly remind me to download IE ver 9 (I've done previously and corrupted my system).  I didn't want to download it or using the option; Silverlight, KME, Live Essentials, etc.. How can Q: I get rid of reminders?

    Hello

You can hide the update, and then Windows Update won't it offer you again unless you choose to restore it. Here's how to hide an update:

    1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Update, and then in the list of results, click Windows Update.

    2. Do one of the following:

      • Click the link that tells you important updates are available if you have some updates to hide.

      • Click the link that tells you optional updates are available if you have optional updates to hide.

    3. Select an update that you want to hide, right-click, and then click Hide update. Do this for each update you want to hide.

    4. Click OK.

In XP, you may remove the updates.  I can't find a way to do this in Win7.  Don't want to keep getting constant reminders about updates to install, when they are the ones I rejected.

  • Long document - Master Page synchronization - unwanted updates

Just started as a novice in functions of long documents, but for years I am a user of CS5 Master Pages management.

My problem: when I move just something on my Page of Style Source Master and then I sync it with other book files, the change will apply to pages in the same document, but on the other files in the book the any Master Page in the Style Source is applied to all the places where I worked!

So I have overlapping areas of text and images. Horrible. It's like a "master to apply to pages" instead of moving only my 2 things through 600 pages!

Before you pick up the book, I was working in a single large document. Now I divide it into several chapters, keeping the same name of the Page Master and Master Page.

Thanks for any help to better understand or if there is no choice either, I have to manually clean up all my 600 (horrible) pages or I have to work on each Master Page on each book file or Master Page load has changed in each book file.

But it seems to me not the promise of a Master Page!

When I didn't put any text in the dummy text boxes and no color in the image on the Page Style Source Master then all 600 pages are free of duplicated texts, the empty boxes on the Master Page are behind my text worked. It will be harder to start working on a new page without dummy text and color.

But this will be the solution? Are there not looking for high-end print output when two boxes are on the other?

Thank you very much for all the good ideas how to handle the question it better more than 600 pages.

    sincerely

    Corinne

Thanks Pierre, show you one of the solutions is to work with each template of a book instead of synchronization file.

This will work very well with a new object.

But when I down existing securities more than 600 pages, that it might not work.

remove the 'reapply master page items' on the book files and I have a synchronized again.

    InDesign does not reapply

I won't be close Firefox until I can get rid of this unwanted update. I need this information as soon as POSSIBLE, because not to close Firefox means that I can't turn off my computer either.

You will need to delete the folder updates\0 and possibly put record to date if Firefox has already prepared this file to apply the update on the next departure.

  • How can I get rid of the Windows Live Essentials 2011 (KB2434419) update Windows Update?

    Hello

I don't want to install this update I am happy with the versions I currently have programs that it covers.  I prefer to be able to update on an individual basis.  In some cases (for example, Movie Maker), I prefer the previous program in that they are trying to make me install.

How can I get rid of him after the Windows Update notification?  The icon in the system tray is still here now because of this, and I always have to check when I connect if there are important updates that I really need and want.  It's a relatively minor thing but a little awkward anyway.

In the window Windows Update , right click on the unwanted update and click hide update . Boulder computer Maven

Since you have 2 identicle updates, and you are informed that you have the latest version, then you need not to update a copy. You can 'hide' the unwanted update. But before you can do this, you mustchange your auto manual update update.

Click Start > in the search box, type windows update > press the Enter key > afraid that column, click settings actually > important section updated, click on the pointer, and then select "check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them > check under"Recommended Updates"> check mark under"Microsoft Updates"> check mark under the heading 'Notification of software' > click OK"

Now that you have defined Windows updates on manual.
When you receive the notification that the updates are available, click to see what they are. If you have already installed, click on RIGHT > click Hide.
This willingness to update never appears again.
