Updat HP support assistant
I received an update for hp support assistant, but first I had to Remover the old version. After doing this, I was unable to reinstall the wizard of support because it says it's already on my pc. Witch is not true. He was asked to write on the old version, but when I say yes to all that nothing happens. Can someone help me please.

Do not update HP support Assistant / system restore does not work
Couple of problems-
(1) got downloaded the HP support assistant; But it says there is "no new updates". When I check the HP site, there. Why is it not download these updates?
(2) it is impossible to use the "restore point", as it is like "error - try again"
It is likely that most of these pilots is already installed in your computer. The date on the home page for each of them, often does not reflect the effective date, the pilot was created or how long it has been available. You can find the effective date of a driver in the details. The date on the home page reflects more when entry has been changed for any reason, or set to date.

I was offered an update of software SP77359, which seems to me to be an update of the BIOS provided by HP Support Assistant. Version F.82Ap1. Two days ago, I updated the BIOS via the support and, on the report wizard got an other update via the support Wizard. I applied this patch to find that it was still an other BIOS update and now, which has been applied this third update has appeared. Please let know us how I do.
The model number of my machine is actually N9R33EA #ABU (as reported by the Assistant to support) but ths was too long to type in the name of the product.Your laptop is a HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab208na (ENERGY STAR) for later use.
I wouldn't update. Simply click the X to remove the download and install the list in the help Wizard.
The current version on your laptop support portal is F.8.1

Hi guys, I am experiensing a problem while trying to update the Bios with HP Support Assistant. The update downloads very well but the instalation fails. Please remove the second image you downloaded. It betrays everything on your system, including the serial number of hackers from around the world.
About the BIOS, please do not install any update of the BIOS via HPSA & if at all a need arises due to a malfunction, you only need to download and install your product Web page.

How to update HP support assistant in Vista when he says for windows 7 only
I have some errors that the system can be solved if I upgrade the HP Support Assistant. When I click on the link for the upgrade, download instructions that it is for Windows 7 only. updated HP support assistant deleted my desktop icons
I have just ownloaded the last HP Support Assistant High and restarted my computer. When it restarted I lost all my icons on the desktop except the computer and the trash.

Try to run the restore of the system on your computer.
Follow the steps below
Turn the computer off and wait at least 5 seconds with the computer in a full off the coast of the State.
Turn on the computer and press F11 several times in the startup of the computer.
Under I need help immediately, click the Microsoft System Restore
And complete restoration -
I see that there is a new version of HP support assistant. (exclamation point on the system tray icon)
How should be done on the installation of the upgrade to the new version? Refresh option did not have it.
New version of the HP support appears to be installed.
Don't know if refresh did or if this was done automatically but symbol with exclamation on the icon in the system tray isn't there anymore.

Am having problems with the HP software on my laptop: I try to reinstall the latest version of the HP Support assistant on the HP site but get error messages and an unsuccessful installation or uninstall.
1.) HP Support Assistant has not been installed successfully. An error has occurred during installation:-3
2.) error code 1603: see Help (Msi.chm or MSDN) windows installer
3.) error code 1316: a network error has occurred trying to read the file C:\Windows\Installer\HP support Assistant.msi

Hi cobb_bob, welcome to the Forums of HP. If you are having trouble to install the latest version of HP Support Assistant (HPSA), I suggest first to restore the original instance of HPSA using this method: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 7)
If that completes successfully, proceed to try the update:

HP Pavilion 500-242ea: do not install after the OS re - install HP Support Assistant
I had to make one count re - install Windows 8.1 and when I clicked on update HP Support Assistant... a specified message occurred during the update... Click Close. I can not install HP Support Assistant on PC. I downloaded the HP website sp68201 and it ran... the installation process went well but I see still no support help icon in the taskbar even after quick access HP Support Assistant ticking. I checked my pc and HP Wizard is installed in programs and found HPSE and clicked and HP Support Assistant main window appears and then HPSE does not. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times without result.
I want to do a re factory - set again.
I can't even re - install through Recovery Manager utility.
Can anyone suggest how to get Wizard HP work?

I managed to get HP Support Assistant job by running Microsoft Fix It program. I had to restart and run repaired several times. Then, I ran a deep analysis of all files HPSA previously using an uninstall program and deleted remainders. Then I reinstalled sp6801 file and everything is ok. I think that when doing a full reinstall something gets corrupted somewhere in the registry.

HP Support Assistant Defragent disk running 16 hours and counting...
I bought this HP Pavilion P6755 (Windows 7 64-bit) about two months and it is a great machine to use. However later I had on two occasions has experienced a blue screen, I thought I could used the pre-installed HP Support Assistant to try to improve the performance of the machine. Then I started the update and he passed smoothly up to the part of Microsft Windows Disk defragment, where trotted as always...
I tried twice, the first run, I let it go for about 14 hours with no luck. the second time I let the process of development for more than 24 hours and when I came back to check it was still marching tune-up?
I closed this update to half way and started the window of defragmentation tool, and it took less than half an hour to complete the process without any problem at all.
So what is happening with this update under Hp Support Assistant?
I have ensured that the Windows 7 operating system has the latest updates, HP Support Assistant in its latest version.
Another thing so: HP ProBook I use at wwork completes the process of development without problem at all.
Anyone here has the same problem?
My PC has i5 and 1 TB hard drive; I used the HP Support Assistant to perform a check of the HARD drive and that you did not no problem either.

Go on the web portal of support for your office and in the software & Drivers section find the update, download and install it. I would have linked directly to the update for you, but you left the last alphanumeric (s) for your office product name identifier.

HP Support Assistant has changed in windows 7
My HP support assistant changed last night on my laptop using windows 7. I don't know what I did, but used to see the big question mark on the right side of my taskbar and now its on the side of the Wat and when I click on it I don't get the usual things, I used to see as them maintain, troubleshoot and tune up. Now I get a new page that aske when I open suppost Deputy me to display this page different. She did an update to support Assistant? At the time when it happened that I answered an email from another post I had and which is now resolved. Anyone know what happened? The old page liked better.
