• Cannot install updates on photoshop cs5

  I had to rebuild my computer and was able to download and install and activate Photoshop CS5.  However, when I go to update and to install, say the updates cannot be installed. I know that my serial number is good, because the active product, but implementing up-to-date does apparently not.

  We will be updating the look of other downloads Manager for Update Manager Application for OS, Mac or Windows Application.

  Download and install it. If you have a Mac, go to the Apple system preferences > Security & Privacy > General and "Allow downloads from: Anywhere" while Gatekeeper does not block the installation of the system.

  Then run the updates.

  Return to App Store when finished.

  can anyone help?  Online support chat was not at all helpful.  Instead of solving my problem, the supervisor asked me to purchase an upgrade to cs6.

  Your camera must Camera Raw 7.3, and the last version that works with CS5 is 6.7.

  You should use the free DNG Converter to convert your raw files to DNG format, which can be read by CS5.

  Be aware that the works of DNG Converter on the folder level - point to the folder that contains your files. You can not run on individual files.

  Also, be sure to set the compatibility to Camera Raw 6.6 and later in the preferences. This assumes you have Camera Raw 6.6 or 6.7 installed.

  There is no such thing. Camera Raw is specific to certain versions of PS. 8.x will never work in CS5. You must update your software or to install using the DNG Converter.

• Try to download the updates of Photoshop CS5, said close Photoshop when it is not open!

  Just try to Photoshop CS5 update and a window pops up saying to close Photoshop, but it is not open.  The whole reason I do it is because I got a new camera and does not open the raw files in CameraRaw.

  Hello, I installed Photoshop CS5 in Lion some time ago and I always wondered why the Liquify tool worked so hard. Recently, I decided to google for updates or something, and in fact I read the update it could solve this problem, among others. I am currently using version 12.1, and I wanted to update to 12.4 and then check the other updates. If I try to update via Photoshop, Adobe Application Manager says there is no update available, and if I try to do it manually, it says that the update is not applicable. I don't know what is happening! I tried to do this thing in terminal sudo command, I am absolutely sure that the update is for my version of PS, I don't know what is happening. I'd appreciate your help!

  12.1 is the latest version of Photoshop. There is no version 12.4. There's a 12.0.4 version which is the same as 12.1 with respect to most (except 12.1 allows the subscription license)

• Update of Photoshop CS5 serial accepted Installer, but Application Manager does not work

  Hi - I grappler had Photoshop CS4 for Windows, but I am now on a Mac and follow-up information on the upgrades to the platform. I called Adobe to upgrade to CS5 Wednesday and asked to change from Windows to Mac.

  The installer asked for the new series, she agreed and then asked a previous version, I gave him my Windows version CS4, which she also agreed. I was able to use Photoshop without problem Wednesday, but today, I get an error during startup.

  The Adobe Application Manager window opens with 'Adobe Photoshop CS5.1 trial provide a serial number', I re - enter the serial number that I have on my receipt for CS5 and it responds "this serial number is not valid for this product".

  I called Adobe support several hours ago and said to wait a few hours and try again, they have server problems. I'm not still have a bit of luck and it looks like even as it tries to connect to a server, as soon as I paste the serial number in, it is not valid.

  Any thoughts?

That said, please be aware that CS5 is end of life. It is not tested on the new operating systems like Windows 10, and there is no guarantee that it will work. Some people have managed to run the program on Windows 10, and you may want to consider their experience via this discussion: Re: compatibility of CS5 Master Collection with Windows 10.

  Others have done CS5 works by placing their computer in compatibility mode according to the instructions in this tutorial: Windows 10 Forums.

  If you are still unable to update from the program, you can try to download the update directly from Adobe Adobe - Photoshop: for Windows.

• What I need to download creative cloud in order to update to Photoshop CS5?

  A few days ago, I've upgraded to OS X Yosemite version 10.10.1 since doing so, Photoshop does not work properly and can't save new files. I'm on an iMac, but have only 75 GB of unused storage of 500 GB. I need to free up space before that I can download updates? I need to download creative cloud? I started to install updates from Adobe from the drop of Photoshop Photoshop/help/updates to date. The installation was going along fine, then it stopped. I don't know if my computer went to sleep or the surge protector fell asleep or if the installation is stopped for another reason, but when I tried to continue is I said QUIT and try again I did, but I get the same error message:

  "Some updates could not be installed.
  There was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again. »

  I quit and restarted several times and I still get the same message.

  I need to download creative cloud first? Where should I start?

  Thank you. I solved the problem by updating creative photography of cloud. I hope that this will be the right solution. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback.

  To the 6 d, you need Camera Raw 7.3, which is available for CS6. You will need to use the free dng converter and save a version of Camera Raw 5.X to PS CS5 can open it.

  Creative suite Adobe CS 5 is a very old software and the operating system you are using is the most recent, so there may be compatibility issues that adobe has not tested these applications on newer operating systems.

  Yes, you will need to remove the software and reinstall it.   This seems to be a growing trend that I see for Mac OS users.  I'm curious do you remember the utility that you used to remove additional languages?
