Update API causes to R12

Dear all,

I use an oracle API UPDATE to update certain values, so I'm able to update the required fields, but it is for some areas it refreshes NULL in the database I want to retain the value existing sp please help me on this.

Start_date value data is January 22, 15 '

in API I don't pass any value as field but it updated with null, I want to keep existing value.please help me with that.

Thank you

Hello

Oracle of the API (for most of the associated CAW) still retains the current value of this table (column), if there is no value passed. Also it will not accept values explicitly if passed as NULL or apostrophes ".

In order to reduce an existing value to zero, Oracle provided the variables below.

FND_API. For the NUMBER data type G_MISS_NUM

FND_API. G_MISS_CHAR for the VARCHAR data type

FND_API. G_MISS_DATE for the DATE data type

It is not useful here.

  • Update API categories missing categoryTypeId

I would be very interested to understand why BC development team suddenly pulled out of the field of categoryTypeId according to the results of the API.

I welcome the new features of update or remove, but this suppression of field threw a key in my works.

    Basically, the field CategoryTypeId indicates the 'level' of a particular category in British Colombia. (42 = Level1, Level2 43 = 140 = Level3, etc..)

(By the way, I would be curious to know why 42, 43 and 140 have been chosen rather than saying: 1,2,3... but I digress.)

In any case, I was using the field CategoryTypeId to create a game from the category "cascading" selects as shown below:

(i.e., you select a directory in the first select statement and the second, select appears containing the next level of categories filtered for this selection of repertoire and so forth.)

    {resource module_data = 'categories' version = "v3" collection model = 'directories' = "" where = "------{'categoryTypeId': '42'------}"}

    {resource module_data = 'categories' version = "v3" collection = "categories" template = "" where = "------{'categoryTypeId': '43'------}"}

    {resource module_data = 'categories' version = "v3" collection model = "subcategories" = "" where = "------{'categoryTypeId': '140'------}"}

I wrote a JS function which makes the display and hiding the results filtered out of the screening.

My big problem is the update today, which has removed this field.  Assuming that there is currently no way to put this back, I'd be happy to explain why it has been deleted, as this caused me suddenly having to redefine the component architecture key of the user interface of the site.

    In addition, I'd also appreciate ideas as to how this might be accomplished another way (easily?) using other fields and/or {categorylist}

    Thank you

    -Bruce

    Hi Bruce,.

I'm really sorry for this bug. We will reintroduce this field tomorrow until the end of the day. I don't know how the values where chosen for categoryTypeId but another question.

Again, I apologize for this issue.

    Kind regards

After you apply this update, the system starts more (secure or normal) and gives the BSOD error above.  Manual removal of the patch Recovery Console fix the BSOD using batch spuninst.txt in the patch folder.  The affected system is an AMD Athlon 2400 + with 2 GB of RAM and XP SP3.  All other updates installs successfully.  I scanned viruses with Avast, Dr Web CureIt, ComboFix, Malwarebytes and TDSSKiller.  The system seems to work fine without the update.

It seems to be a problem with the Win32k.sys file in the patch, but I ran out of utilities to solve this problem.

is not the method I want to use.

    STOP: 0XC000021A

Can be a difficult problem to solve, and you indeed need a technical help in a real store of the computer
(not the leeks and the glances at a BestBuy or other BigBox stores) or system manufacturer support.

    Cause

This error occurs when a subsystem of mode user, such as WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem (CSRSS), irremediably compromised and security can not be guaranteed. In response, the operating system goes into kernel mode. Microsoft Windows cannot run without WinLogon or CSRSS. Therefore, it is one of the rare cases where the failure of a user mode service can stop the system.

Incompatible system files can also cause this error. This can happen if you restored your hard disk from a backup. Some backup programs may skip restoring system files which they determine are in use.

    Solve the problem

Run the kernel debugger is not useful in this situation because the error occurred in a user mode process.

Resolve an error in the user-mode device driver or system, third-party application service: Because the bug 0xC000021A control occurs in a user mode process, the most common culprits are third-party applications. If the error occurred after the installation of the new or updated device driver or service system, third-party applications, the new software should be removed or disabled. Contact the manufacturer of the software on a possible update.

If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and then press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system. In the WindowsAdvanced Options menu that results, select thelast known good Configuration option. This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time. If the error is not resolved, try to manually remove the offending software. If the system partition is formatted with the (FAT) file allocation table, use a MS-DOS boot disk to access the hard disk of the computer. If the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or remove the defective software. If the defective software is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file. If a room newly installed if material is suspected, remove it to see if that fixes the problem.

Try running the emergency recovery disk (ERD) and allow the system to repair any errors that it detects.

Solve a problem of file system do not match: If you have recently restored your hard disk from a backup, check if there is an updated version of the backup/restore program available from the manufacturer. Make sure that the latest Windows Service Pack is installed.

  • Update Vista caused internet connection problems

I have tried repairing computer of my sister, who says simply ceased to connect to the internet all of a sudden.  She said that began February 1... After looking through the system restore, I noticed there was an update installed on 31 January, so I restored the computer to the day prior to that, and now the internet works again.  Since then, I have disabled the automatic updates.  My question is: How can I solve this problem?  I can't leave just for always updates disabled...

    Hello

Please can you us on the update that is causing this issue?

This problem occurs especially if there is a conflict between the update and the application program on your computer, mainly the antivirus program.

That's why I suggest to disable and re-enable the antivirus program or the security on your computer and try to update the verification of updates if the problem is resolved.
Ensure that you re - activate the security on your computer program after a repair.

Try here to reset windows update components and then try to install the updates.

Also, I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the network drivers and see if it makes a difference. You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    1. open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and
Maintenance and then click Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator
password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. in Device Manager, locate the device, and then double-click the device name.
    3. click Driver tab, then click on uninstall the driver and follow the instructions.

Now, try to follow the link provided to update a hardware driver that is not working properly and check the question below.

  • Svchost 100% Windows Update the cause

From my own post about my problem after taking the post similar here.

I have a Panasonic Toughbook, running Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005, Version 2002, Service Pack 3. I use Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus. This toughbook gets used to work.

Noticed the last time I turned it on it, he crawled and was unusable. Today I spent some time with it and noticed the process svchost.exe takes 99% CPU. I have narrowed it down to the service of automatic updates which is the cause and I was also impossible to obtain updates through Windows Update with the right bar from green back and forth endless progression.

First of all, in the Windows Task Manager, I've selected display, select columns and checked the PID (process identifier). It showed me which instance of svchost was using all of the CPU, PID 1060 (although this PID is probably different on different machines)

Secondly, I opened a command prompt and ran: tasklist/SVC

In the list, I looked at used 1060 PID and invalidates them one at a time by services.msc services

Disabling automatic updates service immediately set the svchost using all CPUS.

Recheck the tasklist/SVC watch the wuauserv (automatic update service) was the only service missing PID 1060 for the svchost problem.

I think I found the solution at the moment. I was brought to him a post on another forum.

The solution was to install the last update of security for IE8 (KB2879017). You can find and download at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40390.

  • How to remove an update that causes web pages not to load - think its KB2722913

main computer, a Dell Dimension 8300 running Windows XP 2002 Pro w / ServicePack 3, automatic updates ran Thursday, August 16 at shutdown.
    Updates installed; KB2705219, KB2731847, KB2712808 and KB2722913

Then used the computer on Saturday and could not connect to the internet - error message;  Server not found. Same message for IE and Firefox.

Called my ISP tech - checked modem, router and computer support all the good packages and trade.  He informed me that Microsoft place caused the same problem in some other Microsoft OSs.

I have four connected computer and the only one not going is not in the net is updated.  Two entrances, two wireless.

I checked all the device drivers and they are good.
Auditor up-to-date virus and system is clean.

After having read the bio on updates, consider KB2722913.

How can I remove it?  Cannot access the internet, so it will be manual or a file can I down loaded, put a closing Flash and install/run on the Dell computer.

    Thank you
    Ken J

Apparently it is not KB2722913 as you later deleted and your problem remained.

I don't see KB2723135 in your list. It's curious, because he was in the most recent batch of security fixes... Come back to this one.
I have a feeling that you have malware. Have but before turn us to that, you installed the OPTIONAL updates? (They can often destroy a system.)
What is your program antivirus or suite? Maybe it's a clue.

  • Windows Update KB3069114 causes a blue screen Vista

The latest updates for Windows from September 2015 started causing blue screens on my Vista desktop, and after repeating uninstall and reinstall I think, that the problem is caused by KB3069114.

    All this experience?

Any chance of a fix for the problem in the near future?

I just downloaded and installed the latest driver for my graphics card. I hope that the plant will be gone now [after] KB3069114 installation.

I would like to know what happens, OK?

  • Update problems causing several problems.

    First-

I received notice that Windows cannot be updated for some time. I tried the fix where I am to empty a folder and reset it according to the instructions in the menu help. THST didn't work, so I found a forced update on a MS site that was supposed to force the update. Instead to get the update, I now get messages saying that the version of windows vista, I have perhaps not valid now. How can I fix it?

    Second-

I was able to live with the frustration above until today when I tried to install my new MS Office Home and Student 2010 and kept getting Error 1935 with an Hresult: 0 x 8007002. Fix management, I found that all suggest that I did do the same thing I did for my problem above but has never worked.

    Third-

On the start-up of already 5 or 6 (apparently not regularly), I get the "blue screen" which tells me that I have not a valid operating system.

I had friends from tech tell me that these are known issues with Vista Ultimate and all I have to do is call the 1-800 number MS, explain the issues, and that MS can make a correction. This 1-800 number seems to be eluding me (if such a number exists). I am also told that all these problems are caused by the same problem.
