Update driver Brother MFC 210 c - window 7 Home Premium

Hello

I just updated my computer from Windows Xp to Windows 7 Home Premium. I can't find the dirvers for my Brother MFC 210 c. I even drive, but the computer does not hired the legacy. I think the printer works on 32 bp as opposites tp 64bp. I used Windows update to see if my printer would come to the top, but it didn't. Can someone help me?

Thank you!

Hi AleDeb,

I had the same problem and spent the last 2 + hours to understand.  After much research I could not find a driver specifically for Windows 7 so in my frustration, I downloaded the driver for Vista and it worked.  You can find it here: http://welcome.solutions.brother.com/BSC/public/agreement2.aspx?c=us&lang=English&prod=mfc210c_all&osname=win_vista_x64&viewmode=0&guid=11a8160e-fb29-4c94-bce4-d88bc89e3cbd&dlid=dlf003430&flang=8&dlfileseq=2.  Click on I accept and save it somewhere where you will be able to find it.  After it downloads the file, open it and extract it.  It will save you all that is in the same place.  Then, go to the--> hardware control panel and sounds--> devices and printers.  Click on "add a printer".  After that the printer is highlighted and click Next.  He will try to find the driver automatically but will not be able to.  After a failure, click ok, and navigate to the location where you have unpacked just the files.  It should work.  It worked for me.  Let me know if it works for you.  Good luck!

  • Problem install driver Brother MFC 8300 (using Windows Update)

I need help for my printer to work with a new installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  I had to reinstall due to a CMOS error, I think it was because of a dead battery.  It could even be something else because I had other problems with this facility (explained below).  In any case, the printer is a former Brother MFC 8300 (he was a workaholic!).  Past times, I have re-installed Windows, there have not been any problems with this printer.  I just install Windows Update driver (the driver is named 'Brother MFC8600/9650 Series' in Device Manager).  But this time the installed "Windows Update" the driver and says that everything is working properly but when I go to "Devices and printers" it does not appear in "Printers and faxes" (as he usually does).  FYI, there is a list for "USB Composite Device" in "Devices" that shows "Brother MFC8600/9650 series" as a scanner.  Don't know what that means.

I also tried to manually download the driver of 'catalog.update.microsoft.com '.  I downloaded 2 different versions of the driver.  It has a size of 2.0 MB file and the other has a 2.3 MB file size.  I found myself by installing do not either because I didn't know where the appropriate destination location has been using the 'Expand' of the 'Command Prompt' command with "expand -F: * " ."  I think that the file for the "Windows Update" file size is 2.1 MB (my memory is not the biggest however).

I am running as a "Standard user", but I installed all the drivers of devices as an administrator.  I also noticed a problem with an application that I used before this re - install, "Ultracopier.  On installs previous he has installed fine and he demanded 'Administrator' rights after the start.  But during this installation, it did not work at all and did not 'Administrator' rights after the start.  I also had problems with a 2 to external hard drive related to the permissions and access to certain files and folders.  I don't know if any of this matters but I thought that the more information the better.

I hope someone can help me with this because I really need this printer to work.

    Hello

    Sorry for the late reply.

I suggest that you restart the Printer Spooler service and see if that fixes the problem.

A print spooler is software that temporarily stores the disk printing hard or in memory until the printer is ready to print.

    Please follow the steps below:

You must be logged on as administrator to perform the following steps:

    1. By clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, open administrative tools. In the search box, type Administrative Tools, and then click Administrative Tools.
    2. Double-click Services. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. Right click on the print spooler service, and then click Properties.
    4. Under the tab general , next to Startup type, make sure that Automatic is selected.
    5. If the service is not already running, under Service status, click Startand then click OK. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

For more information, please see the link below:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/why-cant-I-print

If you are still facing problems while using the printer, I suggest to uninstall the driver again and install all the optional updates offered by Windows Update and then install the printer drivers if not included in the optional updates and see if the problem persists.

To install optional updates, follow the steps below:

    1. Press the Windows key + R
    2. Type wuapp
    3. In the left pane, click search for updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your computer
    4. If updates are found, click on view available updates.
    5. Select the optional updates, and then click on install. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Hope this helps, get back to us if you need further assistance for Windows.

  • Windows Vista Home Premium update froze during the 'configuration' June 30, 2009.

Received notification of five updates to install on my computer Windows Vista Home Premium, one of them being Internet Explorer 8.   All the downloaded slowly.   Each of them appeared to install, but slowly and I left the computer while he was installing the 3rd update.   When I came back it had evolved in the 'Configuration' screen (always see after there are updates and it restarts) and sat there for hours.   It reads "Configuring updates: stage 3 of 3, 0% complete.  The percentage of nevers turns off 0%.   I finally turned off the computer and when she started he said windows had not closed properly so I chose the Safe Mode option.   He immediately went the same configuration screen.  I left it again for 4 hours, but no change.   What should I do?

The laptop is a HP tablet PC.

Here's how to uninstall the ones you don't want.

And how to change the settings of update and IE8 HIDE update!

Click Start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it

    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".

When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the bad.

    > or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it

  • Why Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit installs not Windows updates?

I am not able to download and install Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit windows update.  This Gateway laptop has always been able to quickly and easily install the update by clicking windows update.  However, since the introduction of Windows 10 it has been a lot of your time trying to install updates.  I had this same problem with Windows 7 too.  Never before there was no problem for the two operating systems.  Installation of Windows updates has always been easy and fast without any problem.  Running the troubleshooting isn't good and hunting error codes has been unproductive.  What the hell is happening?

    Hi Joe Cool1:

'Check for updates...' crashes and slow Windows updates currently affect the SP2 for Vista and Win 7 SP1 users, and I doubt it's a coincidence that Microsoft has ended mainstream support and only provides support for these two operating systems.  The evidence points more to a problem with the Windows Update Agent (WUA Vista, C:\Windows\system32\wuaueng.dll v7.6.7600.256 has not been updated since June 2012) and the problem tends to be more prevalent on computers with slower processors and a limited amount of RAM.

There are step-by-step instructions posted on 16 June 2016 wire m #l's updates doesn't work do not, he has been looking for updates to the hours which should speed up Windows Update for both for Win 7 SP1 and SP2 for Vista.  The instructions were for users of Vista, so when you reach step 4 just use the appropriate links of Win 7 on the page Web of Dalia http://wu.krelay.de/en/ (Win 7 x 64 if you have 64-bit Win 7 OS;) Win 7 x 86 if you have a 32-bit Win 7 OS) to download packages update stand-alone correct (.msu files) for missing Windows kernel mode driver (Win32K.sys) updates on your Win 7 machine.

You can also find some useful tips in entry 9 August 2016 Microsoft MVP Woody Leonhard on his Woody on Windows InfoWorld blog titled 2 easy steps to speed up scans of Windows 7 update that includes detailed instructions for the use of circumvention of Dalai to http://wu.krelay.de/en/.  Woody's workaround for Dalai to speed up Windows Update to users as well Win 7 SP1 and SP2 for Vista.

I have a HP Pavilion Windows Vista Home Premium, and the D: drive is full. I don't understand how he got that way... but... I've never used windows to the top, however I do back up with my Norton Security.  I'm not a COMPUTER guru AT ALL and am very confused as to what must be saved for me to do a system restore.  I just made a backup on a 16 GB usb flash drive, which included photos, documents, email, contacts and music.  But what of my registry or my drivers I've updated on the latest updates of 2 years and windows?

So in plain English for the layperson to the computer, lol, can someone tell me...

    1. where should I back up to? (windows, norton?)

    2. what should I back up? EXACTLY, please. lol (I have hundreds of games, I don't want to back to the top if possible)

3 and... HOW MUCH ALCOHOL SHOULD I HAVE AVAILABLE WHILE TRYING THIS. LOL just kidding. Laughing out loud

    Hello

Updates must be installed in a certain order and no Service Pack must be installed unless and until it is offered through Windows Update.

    However, try these options:

Step 1: You can not reuse what already automatically downloaded and installed. You can however save updates and install them manually if you wish.

Step 2: You can create a system image on the computer. A system image is an exact copy of a disc. By default, a system image includes the drives required for Windows to run. In addition, it includes Windows and your system settings, programs and files. You can use a system image to restore the contents of your computer if your hard drive or computer ever stops working.

    Hello

The following article should be useful. To use system recovery options, you have Vista installation disc. OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) repeatedly will install on the computer Windows recovery environment. To cross check if it is installed, try the following steps.

1 start the computer and press the F8 key continuously to get advanced boot menu options.
    2. on the menu advanced startup options, check if the Startup Repair tool is in the list.
    3. If so, select it and press ENTER.
    4. If not, then you should organize a Vista installation disc.

  • Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 - multiple windows program or service failures after Windows Update June 17, 2011

I have Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (I think that SP1 anyway). Last night June 17, 2011, update of Windows installed an update or updates. Now, Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, Windows Installer, Windows Sidebar, Panel, Windows Update and other Microsoft programs all fail. I get messages with various error codes. A message is 'class not registered '. I tried a restore to a previous restore point, but apparently the only restore point is the one made after the update. What can I do here? I know that I can always restore the factory image (Dell), but I'd rather not if I can help it.

    Hi doc,

    Method 1:

You can try to repair aStartup if it is included in the system recovery options provided by the manufacturer of the computer or start from the disc for Installation of Windows Vista.

    Startup Repair: frequently asked questions

What are the system recovery options in Windows Vista?

    Method 2:

Alternatively, you can try to start a disk check and check.

You can view the following link to perform a disk check:

Check your hard drive for errors

Note: When you run the disk check, there are chances of losing data if you can take a backup of important data before you run checkdisk.

    Hope this information is useful.
