Update Flash windows pro + recent = BIG BUG of FONTS!

Hello

I just wanted to share my recent pain in you know where. Last week around Wednesday IDE Flash (cs 5.5) ceased to display most of the custom fonts. I could create a field of text (referring to the classic text box) and put a text, however if I chose:

-police custom (for example, Futura, Helvetica...)

n ' any method of anti-aliasing (readbility, animation, custom)

then, the police were not visible at all in the Flash IDE and even in the published SWF.

So after a day of reinstalling software and system (Windows 7 pro x 64) I found that the problem is caused by the recent Windows Update. Since I installed the system clean and disabled automatic update system all fine wokrs. This happens to my colleague too well with flash cs5 and Windows 7 pro x 64.

So to all the people out there - flash I just wanted to ask if you had the same problem, so we know if it's just individual problem or the common thing. Because now I can't recommend is not to download recent windows update until this problem is resolved (if there is).

For the adobe guys - do you have a report on this?

  • Last downloaded Update Flash, Windows says it can't use the path of the file

I have Win 7 Starter on a net book, and my user is administrator. I never had problems to install Adobe Flash, because it normally takes care of itself as soon as I get the update process.

During the week, I tried to update Flash Player several times. I am angry.
I have download the binary file and it is 1 MB in size (is this correct when the download page says that it's going to be 17 MB?), I try to execute the binary file only to receive a local saying "Windows cannot access the specified path, device or file. You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.
The .exe file does not have the usual Adobe icon, only a generic file icon.

Also, when I'm on the Adobe Web site, on the Flash download page, I have to repeatedly re - authorize the computer to 'use' the version of Flash that is temporarily installed and I do not know if it is originally a kind of problems with downloading. It takes a few minutes to get even the page to spit the file because Firefox blocks Flash blocking Adobe.

How do I just update Flash?

Honestly, the easiest solution is to use Google Chrome.  Flash Player is a built-in component, so there is nothing to download or update.

  • Been put to update to Windows Pro 8, but now a pilot missing!

I'm really confused right now. I have upgraded to Windows 8 Pro Friday because my Toshiba Satellite M505-S4940 was supposed to have been ready and compatible. Everything went a lot until I realized that I don't have a wifi connection. It does not show even the scale of the airplane on the network connections page mode.

I checked my devices, noticed that it was necessary troubleshooting for my laptop, downloaded missing drivers, but am still missing a driver... the driver for network controller. I checked on the Toshiba support for drivers, but no Windows 8 say page.

Which one should I download? I agree, download the driver for Windows 7?

Any help is greatly appreciated as I have never encountered this problem.

    Thank you!

    Hello

You could try the driver Win 7 and if necessary, use the Compatibility Mode...

SETUP\Install right-click and select Properties, Compatibility tab is at the top.

Down is a Compatibility Mode check box and a drop-down option.

You might also check with the manufacturer of the controller and see if they have anything to win 8.

can you please answer why my acer lost my driver of the touch screen when I switch to 8.1 pro please help...

This can occur when you upgrade an operating system because your previous operating system drivers may not always be compatible with the one you currently have.

You can try to download and install the latest drivers for touchscreen for your model and see if that fixes the problem. For information about how to do this, you can consult the following link:

Thank you for your valuable response.

As a result of your message, we noticed that Dell OptiPlex GX520 is not compatible with Windows 8.1 and there is no available driver, this is maybe the reason why you can not upgrade to Windows Pro 8.1 with Media Center. We invite you to contact the manufacturer of the computer and check if it is possible to upgrade to Windows Pro 8.1 with Media Center on this computer. • 8.1 Windows Pro update the problem (from Windows 8 Pro) on Envy 23 TouchSmart all-in-One...

    Hello

I have a HP Envy 23 Touchsmart all-in-one that I bought a year ago (12/2012). It comes preinstalled with Windows 8.

    System information:

    (a) Intel (r) Core i7 - 3770 S CPU @ 3.10 GHz

    (b) 8192 MB of RAM

A few weeks after that I had bought the system, I've upgraded to Windows 8 Pro with Media Center that I bought through Microsoft upgrade program.

Last week (19/10/2013), I saw the option upgrade to Windows 8. 1 in the store and decided to upgrade.

After a few minutes, I got a prompt asking me to restart the computer, and I did.

However, I noticed that the screen has turned white, but it restarts not really - I have seen that the hard drive light was still flashing and I waited for about 15 minutes. I know it does not restart because if that were the case I would have seen the HP logo on the screen of the BIOS. A little later, the system entered into mode 'sleep' (at least the light blinked slowly as if it was the sleep). As it was late at night, I decided to leave the system alone and decided to check on it the next morning. The next morning, he was still in mode 'sleep' (as I feared) - when I tried to wake up from her sleep by moving the mouse/hit the return key, he did the exact sounds as if he were to wake up from its sleep (as it always does), but the screen is still blank. The light power button lit up constantly indicating he's awake now.

At this point, I decided to turn off the system by holding the button for a few seconds. To restart, I saw the HP logo on the BIOS boot screen and the screen went white and nothing came.

So I decided do a system recovery using my Windows 8 recovery CD and turn off the system with the CD in its niche. This time, the system came and began immediately to restore my OS to a previous version.

After connecting to the system recovered, I received the following message:

"Could not update for Windows 8.1.

Sorry, we could not complete the update Windows 8.1. We have restored the previous version of Windows on this computer.

    0xC1900101 - 0 x 40019.

I tried to reinstall Windows 8.1 a couple of times after that. Once to disable all non-Microsoft services and disabling all startup programs. Always the same result.

I have no antivirus software on my other system protection of Microsoft default system software.

    Any help, greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

I have disabled active secure boot existing starter and the update worked.  Now we get the error of watermark "secure boot not configured correctly.  But I have re-enabled secure boot and the error disappeared.

  • HP Color LaserJet MFP M176 Pro: No printing on HP Color LaserJet MFP M176 Pro after update of Windows 10 anniversary update

My HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M176 does not print after update of Windows 10 anniversary update. I've updated two computers (HP Compaq Elite SFF 8300 and E6320 Dell), Hp with 2013 installed Office and Dell with Office 2010 installed. The printer is connected to my network. The latest "complete solution drivers' HP was installed before the upgrade. Printer does not printer-> Printtest properties, error notification appears and asks me if I want to troubleshoot the error. I can see the printjob in the spooler, but it is immediately deleted. Does not print any programs I've tried, with the exception of the notebook HP Print and Scan Doctor! When I troubleshoot with Windows printtroubleshooter, no problems found. Same thing with HP print and scan the doctor.

I uninstalled all the drivers and the Hp programs, rebooted and installed "drivers complete solution." Same problem!

On the Dell computer, I made a new clean install of Windows 10 Anniversery update, from a USB key. Office 2010 installed and 'full pilot solution again'. Same problem!

On August 18, 2016, I found new drivers on Hp. new downloaded web pages "complete solution drivers still" uninstalled all the drivers and the Hp programs, rebooted and installed "drivers complete solution." Same problem!

Among the many solutions, I tried turning the firewall. No help.

I know that brother Corp has sent an email to their customers, there are big problems with their printers/drivers and the anniversary 10 Windows Update. Same problem with Hp printers/drivers?

    Someone who has a solution?

    Hello!

Thanks for your suggestion of a solution!

First of all, it fixed my problem of printing when I tried with a new user on both computers. Yet, I was a little confused that two updates and an installstion clean "updated anniversary" should lead to a curropted user profile!

Then when I did what I always be with new computers/users, to the environment variables 'TMP' and 'TEMP' C:\Temp for the new user. Printing stops again. Extract a little more and found that users on C:\Temp needed to be 'total control '. 'Change' was not enough. Perhaps one of the new things in birthday update?

In any case, there where the pleasure with your help!

  • NVIDIA GEFORCE G105M Windows Pro 8.1 update

    Hello

I have upgraded to Windows Pro 8.1 yesterday and he then offered me an update of the display driver. I ran the install and accepted the default settings. Back-light the PC refuses to start permanently.

I had to restart from zero and reupgrade Pro 8.1. This time that I held off on the display, upgraded driver until someone can offer me some advice.

    Thank you.

    Andrew

Just decline the update of Windows 8.1 driver and keep the one that is installed.

You can also save the graphics driver from Windows 8 external on a usb flash drive and use it when Windows 8.1 is installed as an alternative.

It is not uncommon to arrive with a laptop computer that was not bundled with Windows 8. Your laptop was not one of those chosen to receive Windows 8 supported by HP.

  • Downgrade from Windows - 8 updates from Windows-7 Pro-Windows-8 causing of programs; Troubleshooting and problems

    Dear Microsoft community team,

I installed the Windows (27) - 8 and Office 2010 updates yesterday that was recommended in the notifications of security & systems.

After installing these updates (27) in my HP Envy h8 - 1520t PC, my programs said crash and stop and start automatically. This has been a recurring problem with the updates of Windows-8 that I installed in my new PC.

As a result, I am unable to play my favorite games, use applications and have constant program blocks.

I am very disappointed with these problems. I bought a copy of OEM OS-Windows 7 PRO 64 bit and would like to downgrade from Windows-8 to-Windows 7 PRO 64-bit OS. Can you please provide me with instructions to install Windows - 7 PRO on my PC?

I spent countless hours online and search for bugs on the web sites of Microsoft for Windows-8 updates of the anomalies and corrections, with no resolution. HP has no alternative but to contact Microsoft support. I can't find a link email Microsoft support anywhere.

Please help me as soon as possible. Many individuals have downgraded to Windown-8 to-Windows 7 PRO with positive results on their HP Envy h8 - 1520 t PC. I never had a problem with the Windows 7 operating system.

  • HP Envy m6-k010dx: update Windows 10, recently received message OS not found, stuck in auto repair

Recently updated to Windows 10 8.1 and everything was fine, but then I started affected by Frost (windows stopped responding and the mouse and keyboard and I couldn't get to the Manager of the tasks accordingly) sometimes the gel would solve itself, but more often than not a closed hard must be carried out. Fast forward to today, and my computer froze 5 + at a time or two hours, then I close it and let it sit for a few hours, because I had to leave in any case. When I turned it on back but can't find OS message not shown on the screen and the computer turns off. I turned it on the message before auto repair, who showed up for a minute or two and then goes to a black screen and stays there, no options provided (I've ever seen the screen which offers the possibility to fix computer or solve the problems I found among other positions) and this has been the case all day no matter how I try to start it. A further experimentation I managed to get Hardware Diagnostics UEFI test using F2 (checking the battery, check processor, check for the wireless module, check the system board and the SMART hard disk check were in seconds, as soon as he started on short Hard Drive DST check that I received the result of the FAILURE and the test fails also) the results displayed as follows:

    ID 90F439-6MP7RE-XD7WXG-60QJ03 failure

    Product IF: E0L01UA #ABA

    Hard drive 1

Do I have to replace the hard drive? Of course if this isn't the case any other ideas would be appreciated particularly with regard to the possible explanations about what could have caused this since I have not had any problems with the computer before the upgrade and no damage had never place and best way to proceed.

Update: before posting this I turned on the computer and received the HP normal logo displayed during startup, after waiting a few minutes however the dreaded blue screen appears and displays the message saying:

your PC must be rebooted, it will restart for you in a few moments...

Then below this additional information concerns the following text is displayed:

    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

and then of course the computer shuts down. The computer was then turned and saw the preparation of auto repair as before (I had never received this precondition of message blue screen). So even once any idea would be appreciated, I think I've covered most of the details, but if anything else would be helpful let me know.

@SabrinaRM: sorry to say this, but the drive test result means that your drive is defective or has already failed - and needs to be replaced. This means that no recovery, automatic or not, will work as the recovery information are damaged on the drive.

Once you have a new drive, you must restore your PC - but that is a problem.

Normally, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state, but, unfortunately, there is only no recovery media HP not related to HP for your PC Product Page.  You can try to contact the HP customer directly, using the links below, to see if you can order them if:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

If HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/Default.aspx and http://www.restoredisks.com/
