Update for MS office 2010 SP2 creates a lot of problems

First of all, you can tell me how to determine if I have MS Office 32-bit or 64-bit?  I was invited by downloading 64-bit.

When I downloaded the update for MS office 2010 SP2 suggested Windows he caused all sorts of problems.  File 2687455 kb download was for MS Office (64-bit) and now I'm wondering if it was good?  I may have MS Office (32-bit)?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium, computer Office HP P7-1210, 64-bit SP1.

Please can someone help?  I can't drag and drop the desktop icons, sometimes I lose control when I try to click on orders, and everything seems to freeze and other issues.  If I Ctrl + alt + delete and click Cancel, can I get back to the screen and I can control the cursor by clicking for a while.  Then everything goes haywire.

CHKDSK only checks the State of the disk. Why not check the status of both file system operating system?

Go to elevated (admin) dos permissions window. (right click command and click on run as administrator as shown in the following image) type sfc/scannow. Let completeion. Who takes care of all the system files that the System File Checker considered as corrupt.

If all goes well with the OS system files for you, you should get the result seen in the following image. Run the System File Checker solves often strange questions.

  • Windows XP Installer does not not for updates or MS Office 2010. Error says Safe Mode, but I'm not in it.

Windows XP Installer doesn't work is not for the automatic updates or MS Office 2010. Error says Safe Mode, but my machine is not in Mode without failure.

When I try to run MS Office 2010, it starts a dialog box "preparing to install...." "even if I had used it for a few years. In the end, it fails and tells me whether I'm in Mode safe or I need to reinstall Windows Installer, I have done several times.

I can automatically download updates and they seem to be installed, but all fail at the end.

Any ideas on how to address this problem? Yes, I know that it is probably recommended to buy a new PC, but I need this machine operate fully for the next months. Then by reloading the operating system does not, either. He told me that my XP disc is the wrong version.
