  Well, usually the BIOS could once again be reflashed, but you would need a traditional version of the BIOS update.
  This version is available for Toshiba FSA.

  So you will need to get in touch with a local ASP technician that could reflash the Rom BIOS module.

  There is no such thing as SPA10 satellite. You either have Satellite A10 or P10. Please check on the label at the bottom of your laptop. Correctly identify your laptop model and you will find everything you need on Toshiba download page.

  First of all Hello first post. I have 2 laptops computers C660 girls 1 satellite crashed a while a go so she began using mines. Mine C665D now broke screen can see some of the screen. Decided to try first permutation screen not switch different connectors then swapped hardy Bank 665 to 660 and clean install win7 pro. Was good, but had no network drivers. Reading tips says update all drivers. Started at the top of the page of the Toshiba driver and did the bios update. Crash! During installation stop 'corrupts' BIOS and now will not start. Fact a little research, and it seems that the bios flash was not a good option, too bad it's on the driver download page, won't happen again. I tried to leave without battery f2 etc but still stops. Any help would be appreciated as I am defiantly out of my depth now.   A bit of an update might help others?
  It seems that I need Ref lash the bios. From what I had read the reading process.
  1. make a bootable usb stick (at this stage now)
  2. download the bios. I downloaded back wi to be able to extract the files. There are 4 files as follows.
  1 bios. ROM 4 356 kalonji
  2 BiosCheck 1 kalonji (it is a Notepad I read file)
  3. ec.ROM 128 kalonji
  4 configuration 1389 kalonji
  Not exactly what file to be copied to a guess, I would say 1 but maybe all necessary?

  3. remove the hard drive and optical drive
  4 remove battery insert bootable usb, apparently, it is imperative that you keep it F key kept in then plug power on keep pressing the button F let go after a certain time (30 seconds not sure how long I'll try) release the F key. If you have a USB stick with a light if it lights it is working, wait just restart the system and I hope that you can now enter the rest of the system.
  I got my old Acer laptop installed fresh closet 7 win was running very slow spen so much more sorting, day was services using 100% cpu, Windows update, this turned out well and now pretty well I hope make bootable usb and put on the Flash Toshiba bios.

  I got an email off the coast of Toshiba today telling me there is a value added package update available (PVAT (v1.0.25).
  I downloaded and unpacked. It contains three options:
  2 don't buttons, button 6, no button but there is no readme etc to tell me which version is my P100-160.

  I have experienced a massive fall in my laptop.
  I tried to run the Toshiba Recovery disk and I also tried to format the drive with the XP installation CD. However, any attempt to recover the laptop (or even clean it and install it from scratch) have failed.

  The display driver should be used from the Toshiba driver page.
  This view is a driver that has been designed especially for the use of the laptop and it s certified by Toshiba.
  If you want to use another driver, you do so at your own risk.

  The update should not be really problematic. Download the driver package and store somewhere on the HARD drive.
  Then go to Device Manager, choose graphics card, then update the driver.
  Here, you choose the advanced option. Then choose the last option (called I want to select the driver, or something like that) and point to the driver files that you have stored on the HARD drive.
  Complete the update and restart the laptop.
