  Well, I'm happy to report that I was wrong, and it was NO fault of Adobe Premiere.  I still have some other problems with the first update, but this problem was actually the result of my uninstall iTunes, which caused an error in Quicktime.

  When I started reading other peoples problems and reduced my problem until ProRes video and AAC audio, I found a few others who have said that they were having problems with Quicktime.  So I open Quicktime and tried to play the MOV files (usually use VLC Player) and of course, he could not play because "software of Apple service something or other assistance" has not been installed, the result of my uninstall iTunes, I assume (I had done this at the time I improved the first).  So, I installed a new Quicktime layer, and everything is back to working normally again!

  Did you do a search in bookmarks (library) Manager in case you accidentally moved them to another folder?

  You can check .jsonlz4 compressed in the bookmarkbackups folder backups to see if there are bookmarks lost.

  If the bookmark that should appear in the folder of Bookmarks Toolbar are not in this folder, but is perhaps in a second Bookmarks Toolbar folder in the folder Menu bookmarks then you can move (copy / paste) them yourself to the correct folder in the library.

• Updated October 2014 CC causes crash when importing OBJ.

  I tried to import a file (created in c4dr16, registered as a .obj file) OBJ AE CC 2014 to be used with Trapcode Form plugin. without fail, it causes AE crash when importing.

  I tried going through the menu import by dragging the file into the prj with the same results - crash.

  You will need to take up with the red giant / Trapcode. That being said, C4D outputs simply crappy OBJ files. Download Blender, open your file in there and export it again as an OBJ file much better.

  I want to replace a jar file, used by legend of java actions, during the import. I use WLST script to import the configuration jar but may not know how to replace the jar file.
  This jar file contains environment specific properties which I intend to change in import, once the jar config is downloaded and impoted in the same session.
  
  I have sought to Ref, ArchiveType, Refs and ALSBConfigurationMBean, but can not understand to replace specific jar files in config imported jar.

  Use before calling Ant real wlst.
  Ant extract the jar... replace the bosses and wrap the pot again and after that you can use to import the sbconfig.jar wlst

  OS: (OSX 10.8.2) Mountain Lion

  Printer was working fine until this morning when I was warned that there was an update via the app store.  I installed the driver update and now all of the HP software will not see the printer.  I did the following:

  * Download the latest version of the software of HP and re-not installed-no change, can't see printer

  * HP printer software uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled latest version - no change, can't see the printer

  * Added that the printer first via system preferences--> Print & Scan (no problems) then attempted to use the HP utility to see that the printer - no change, can't see the printer

  * Tried to set up the printer manually using the IP address - still does not see the printer

  It was working fine yesterday.  I am now without the ability to print, other than by electronic mail using hpeprint.com.

  I don't know how to remove the last update that I watered.  Help, please.

  Edit: I should note also that all the computers in my House have no problems.  Nothing has changed on the printer itself, the only thing that changes is the driver software on my mac.

  You get this error because Windows Update tries to install the driver that is already installed.

  Solutions:

  Thought I would let you know that I've finally sorted this! :)

  In another forum I read a post from someone who had a similar problem and solved it by uninstalling the "failures" updated, restart the PC and then re-run the update. It worked! It had not occurred to me to try what I've assumed that 'impossible' meant that they had not installed at all, not that they didn't had simply not installed correctly and must have become corrupt.

  I hope this will help someone else who has the same problem, I've had!
