Hope it will be useful for others who are done with digital subscriptions as Adobe Creative cloud. I hope that Adobe will give us the support users only support a break when it comes to technique. I don't want to think creatively in a cloud.

  I bought LR5 in more than a year ago as boxed version and installed using the serial number provided in the box.

  A few months ago, I installed Adobe CC and signed the package which provides LR and PS. Installation of the PS via software-CC has worked as it should and I expected that Adobe CC recognizes my installation of LR and chenges recording for CC-credentials. But he did not. Same uninstallation and reinstallation via Adobe CC didn't work on one of my two machines (other works correctly from the beginning).

  As I included it in my LR abo, I want to sell the stand-alone version - but first of all, I have to change registration to CC.

  It didn't reinstall the ATL update, it reinstalled 2005 Redistributable. So now, I have 2005 and 2010 x 86 both. And it says that two dates installiation are two days after I installed the 2010.   Try to install the update in safe mode.

  Try to install the update in safe mode and see if you are able to install. Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

  To start in safe mode, follow the steps below:

  1. remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

  Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

  2   , do one of the following:

  ·         If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.

  ·         If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start in safe mode, and then press F8.
