• Unable to update the CC apps

  I understand updating the CC apps, it requires a username and password which is not your Adobe ID and password. I installed the updates before. However, no user name and password combo that works, even the one that I used to install an update a few months ago (there were a few posts about this, but no one seems to have problems after they have already installed updates I've seen.)

• Impossible to update the CS5 apps in Windows 10

  I'm trying to update to After Effects CS5 Version 10 to 10.02. in Windows, 10. I can't successfully run the updates downloaded using Adobe Application Manager. I get errors for each application indicating "some updates could not be installed" "update is not Applicable.

  I was able to update Illustrator, Photoshop, and first in Windows 7 on this computer before an update of Windows 10. I also did some prior tests on Windows 10 beforehand with Premiere Pro installations since she need an installation in Compatibility Mode or cause errors running Premiere Pro.   As I just found the solution solved my own question. Adobe shows this procedure for CS 5.5 and creative cloud but it updates Adobe Application Manager of CS5 and so I was able to run my installers and successfully run all updates for applications in Windows 10 CS 5. http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/thankyou.jsp?ftpID=4773&FILEID=4437

  Hope this helps people. Windows 10 and Adobe CS 5 works well. Don't forget to install in Compatibility Mode for Win 7 and get the update that I linked above for the AAM.

• Creative cloud updated the desktop app does not work but but also quit smoking. On Mac 10.9.5.

  Downloaded update two days ago. Now the menu bar icon is grayed out. When you click on it there's only an icon of spinning. Quitting smoking is grayed out and help and Open Window do nothing. There is no way I can see to do a force quit.

  Akamai Download Manager is / is not necessary for all download Adobe.  It has been used (by default) for the older downloads adobe but can still be circumvented by opting for direct download.

  There is no way supported for updating a module (or more) only because of referential integrity between application modules. The proper way to update the Oracle Apps database is using quick Clone or use a full database Export/Import.
