  The problem, small square boxes showing on the lines Freetext tool reviews, is not limited to blank lines, as I originally reported here. These boxes are appearing at the end of each line. It does not matter whether or not the line break is hard or soft, if the line is empty.

  We have a copy of Acrobat 5.0. and so far he has done what we need, which is not much more to add bookmarks, links, and some retouching. I know it is very old and I know that things are changing.   I added a lot of comments and notes like that and when I view the PDF in Reader (on this computer I 9.4.2) I see little boxes square on empty lines. The lines were created when I pressed ENTER twice to insert a blank line between paragraphs.   How can I get rid of them?

  They are not present when I open with Acrobat PDF, only when I use an Acrobat Reader.

  They are also not present if I look at the comments using the comments navigation panel - in other words, they always show on the page, but they do not show in the copy of the comment displayed in the navigation panel.

  They are not present in the Notes or when I use one of the shape tools (square, circle or line tool) to create notes. They are no longer present in the Comments of Freetext tool

  I JUST THOUGHT of SOMETHING - I realized that I had not printed the pages on which I placed the comments and I was wondering if the boxes appear when you print the PDF file with reader - they don't. They are not present if I use Acrobat, not a reader, to print the same page.

  Problem solved - it is a police problem. Apparently Acrobat cannot manage specific fonts and it is best to stick to a very small selection of font - Arial, Helvetica, Times Roman.

  I have not test a large number of fonts. If I do, I'll post there results here.

• I'm using temporary profile of Microsoft. Updated the question. A rec answer would be moot.

  I've been in the temporary account or a profile of Microsoft for about 2 months.  They are using my computer.  Don't panic!  But I have no way to contact them.

  I downloaded the updated the BIOS of my pc, not the Qosmio, the instructions say it will unpack into 3 files, one being a floppy disk installation. When I unzip on my desktop pc, it makes a file that s too big for a floppy and he won t unzip further because it locks up my pc.

  Is it safe to make it work on my desktop pc it can unzip then in the three files and this will affect my BIOS or y at - it somewhere that I can download the floppy part on its own to load on a floppy?

  You have downloaded the Qosmio G20 BIOS on the desktop computer, unpacked and now you want it please on the diskette in the floppy drive.
  Is this good?

  So now my suggestion;
  Firstly that the Qosmio G20 BIOS and other BIOS Toshiba cannot be updated using the floppy! This isn't traditional BIOS!
  The BIOS from the Toshiba page must be updated when the Windows operating system is running!

  By the way: you can unpack the BIOS on your desktop computer, but don t try to run all files, because the bad BIOS can damage the motherboard ROM module!

Should I be worried?

But it should work. , You can run the System File Checker to see if there are problems of file system.  Open a command prompt with admin permissions and type sfc/scannow, and then on enter. The files of your operating system will be inspected and the files that are supposed to be corrupted or damaged will be replaced with fresh copies of the repository own Windows file.  If this does not resolve the problem, then I suggest that you run Windows update. There may be an update that resolves this problem

  Does your laptop have a UEFI environment.  This in fact safe update the BIOS if you decide to do.

   

  You can set the HP Support Assistant to install updates or to notify you when updates are available.

  I recommend that you do not set automatically update anything. My preference is that the Windows operating system and the laptop / desktop only doing what I want to do and when I want them to... That way I don't get surprises not unexpected and mysterious death blue screens or black screens.

  I had a BIG_RESULTS table with approximately 1 million rows and

  need to update the SHORT_CODE ('EB', 'SB', 'IP', null) to companies looking upward in a 100 lines

  Code table to see if the BUSINESS_CLASS belongs to a certain range that could benefit from some code.

  The range is a mixture more or less random numbers so one BETWEEN x and there does not work.

  These 4 updates on a large table seem very ineffective for me, but I can´t get my head around how
