Update v5 - 571p to windows 8.1
I plan to update my v5 - win8.0 to win8.1 571p and I have a few questions:
1. I've read that you provide the driver for this model support (http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/GB/content/windows81-update), , but I see in the notes: "Intel® provide drivers for computers with the 2nd generation Intel® CoreTM (i3, i5, or i7-2xxx), Pentium® dual-core G6 or G8 or Celeron® G4, G5 or 8-processor series."-This means you will provide (via the support Web site) a pilot not intel? Can you please tell me what it means to me - as my model has a corei3 processor.
2. I read I am suppose to update my bios - can you please give a link or instructions on how do this (how to know my bios version, where to find the latest version of the bios, how I have flash or install this bios).
3. I've read that I'm supposed to uninstall all drivers vga intell or nvidia - can you please give a link or instructions on how to do this (how do I know if I have these drivers, how to uninstall them; I have to install another driver as well as the uninstall if I - seems counterintuitive to me that I can just uninstall a vga driver and the computer will continue to work according to the needs to upgrade).
Update: I'm looking in the manual, if the explanation is fine on several things I am happy with that.
Thank you very much.

As indicated in the title, you can do a BIOS in Windows 8 update while on a Windows 10 operating system?
I have a Phoenix desktop h9-1150 and am trying to install a new GPU GTX970. There is no updated BIOS for Windows 10 at this time, but there is an update of my current BIOS 7.07 for Windows 8 OS. Can I do that Windows 8 updated safely?
Normally the flasher will check to verify the operating system, but I can't on this one. It does not separate out ROM file, even if it does not check if the operating system you can always extract the file BIOS and flash BACK. I would try it first in windows. It will tell you if there is a control in place.

Hi, I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. He had so many problems and I didn't like it at all, so I just returned my laptop to Windows 8.1. Since then, my laptop does not correctly every time, and the fan immediately starts to work as well. I can start my pc and connect to my home screen each time. If the tile is moving or light up when I move my cursor, then I know that I can use my laptop for a little while. It can freeze after getting out a good program. Other times when I start my laptop, everything is dead except for logging on my screen. My Windows key on the keyboard does not work most of the time. If the screen does not respond the first time I turn, as described above, I can't absolutely nothing on my pc. I can't access the search bar by moving the cursor to top right, I can't open the tiles, I can't spend in desktop mode, etc. Front I upgraded to Windows 10 and downgraded to 8.1 all worked perfectly, because I've updated from 8.0 to 8.1 Windows almost 2 years. I have a defective battery. in fact I can only use my laptop if it is plugged. My fan is constantly going, but I don't know if it's my loss of battery or what's wrong with my pc now. I have described my problem in the Microsoft community forum but have had little response that was not helpful. I was told to go to the command prompt and put in DISM: scan now (which also contained letters more than that, but I do not remember all). I followed the instructions and for 2 days, my pc seems to do better. Then he returned to this problem again. I hope you can help me. If you have additional questions, post here or please email me at [removed personal information]. Thank you!
DEBHello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum. What you can do at this point that there are several updates released by microsoft and hardware vendors is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
If this fails to solve the problem. The only option will be to restore the operating system to the previous, until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your laptop for Windows 10.
Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

Satellite A110 - update the BIOS for Windows 7?
Hello. I found two drivers support page to your versions of BIOS for my Toshiba Satellite A110:
01/21/09
Update the BIOS
Toshiba Windows Vista 32 bit 5, 40 - WIN World Wide
01/21/09
Update the BIOS
Toshiba OS independent 2, 00 - WIN World WideIn 'other info' page on first bios there is a warning that this version is only for windows vista, and on the second page 'other info' he warns, that this version is not compatible for notebook computers equipped with Windows Vista.
My first question is what this means? If I have OS Toshiba idependent 2.0 BIOS will not install Vista? My second and more important question is what version of bios should I install if I now use WINDOWS 7 32 bit?
Hello
> My first question is what this means? If I have OS Toshiba idependent 2.0 BIOS will not install Vista?
You should be able to install Vista using BISO 2.0 but maybe your laptop will generate some questions
So you need to update the BIOS to 5, 40 - WIN version if you want to use Vista OS.If you want to use Win 7 on your laptop then you must first install the Win 7 OS and then you should check out how Windows 7 is running
Welcome them

Satellite A210-16f - after the BIOS update pops up a window with password
Hello
I tried to update the BIOS on my Toshiba Satellite A210. I downloaded an update from the official site of Toshiba, and then I did everything according to the instructions.
I've updated the BIOS under Windows.
Update at the end, a massage "updated successfully" appeared and I just need turn on the computer again.
So I did, and there was a problem. When I turn on my computer now, it shows me a blue window with a password. I don't know password.
Maybe you know how to disable the password or you know some passwords for Toshiba which corresponding?Toshiba doesn t have a sort of universal password, and unfortunately, no one here can help you with this problem.
I just hope that you have downloaded the good BIOS upgrade for your laptop model. The password can be removed by the Toshiba service provider. They can do it in 15 minutes.
Sorry, but buddy I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about it. -

original title: Spider Solitaire
I don't like the update Spider Solitaire in Windows 7. Is it possible to install the version that I had in XP?I found a way to do it myself. I knew someone who was still using Windows XP, and with his permission, I found all the files of spiders by searching, put them on my backup stick and put the files on my computer at home. I just put it on the desktop so it is easy to find and it works very well. Only, I transferred the .exe file.

Code800F900 'unknown error in windows update' trying to download windows vista service pack 2
try to download windows vista service pack 2. Last update was on May 21, 2010. For a few weeks or months, the computer can be terribly slow. Often a hard drive rattle sound. For this, I tried anti-spyware, last week I installed and ran AdAware from lavasoft. It found nothing except two small cookies. A few weeks earlier, I had done the same thing using windows Defender. Also nothing. Along with a check disk hard I did not find much either. What end of the lifecycle for this computer, now about 3 years? He was one of the first available vista computers. Thank you for your help, Peter

Why did you delete your post where you said that Norton application has been installed at some point in the past?
There is nothing wrong with the guarantee of these forums, but I'd be willing to bet that there is something VERY wrong with the security of your computer!
Let's cut to the Chase. See...
Cleaning a compromised system

Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything on the next page before connecting the machine to the internet or one local network (i.e. other computers) otherwise and before using a flash drive or the SD card that is not brand new, or has not been freshly formatted:

NB: No matter what Norton or McAfee free trial which is preinstalled on the computer when you bought will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You MUST uninstall the trial for free and download/run the removal tool before installing updates, Windows Service Packs, or updates IE and before installing your new anti-virus application.

Problem, reinstall the Update Rollup 2 for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
I have problems with MCE 2005. My hard drive crashed and the technician that restored my repressive said that he could not work in MCE 2005. It's a shame because he was working before the hard drive crashes. I work with windows XP.When I go to install the internet and begin to test the connection it gives me "Critical error of process - Code 2"When I go to the TV configuration, it tells me "Tuner not found". Even if I know it works because I also Win TV7 in Hauppauge. My TV tuner is HVR-1600.With these problems, I thought that the solution might be to reinstall rollup 2 according to the Microsoft.http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/910905However, when I go to reinstall the Update Rollup 2, it seems to be to establish a restore point and then it stops when it hits hotfix (KB891593).I took a copy of the mcelog and have attached a copy of the log below.Assistance or management, you can provide me to solve this problem would be highly appreciated.
At this point, I'm a newbie to this and I don't have a clue as to the cause of my problems and any ideas you may have for me would be much appreciated.A generic Package: 10/28/10. 21:32:48
