Update Vista caused constant restarting PC

Hey,.

After an automatic update this week, my PC is now constantly reset. Same thing happened to my laptop in the beginning of the week. I finished my laptop (via the org windows vista disk) implementation in shape, but would rather not do it on my desktop PC that I have a lot of things on it.

I tried the system restore via disk and automatic error fixing, but nothing.

What should I do?

Is your DVD a good Vista DVD.
That's what you need for the repair, not a recovery disk.

Try this:

1. system restore
2 ERD bootable.
3 data Recovery if you have to do a reinstall.

Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the above does not work, try to make a Bootable ERD to do a Startup Repair:
As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.
As your falls into the above category: download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista repair disc.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
There is not a disk of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Data recovery:

1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.

2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.

3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:

http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html

Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Download the Vista software from the link above.
After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1 in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
See you soon.
  • Update Vista caused internet connection problems
    I have tried repairing computer of my sister, who says simply ceased to connect to the internet all of a sudden.  She said that began February 1... After looking through the system restore, I noticed there was an update installed on 31 January, so I restored the computer to the day prior to that, and now the internet works again.  Since then, I have disabled the automatic updates.  My question is: How can I solve this problem?  I can't leave just for always updates disabled...
    Hello
    Please can you us on the update that is causing this issue?
    This problem occurs especially if there is a conflict between the update and the application program on your computer, mainly the antivirus program.
    That's why I suggest to disable and re-enable the antivirus program or the security on your computer and try to update the verification of updates if the problem is resolved.
    Ensure that you re - activate the security on your computer program after a repair.
    Try here to reset windows update components and then try to install the updates.
  • Big problem with update Vista
    I write from my alternative system running the good old XP.  My system Vista Ultimate (a Pentium D 840 3.2 GHz with 4 GB of RAM) was download and try to install the latest updates.  After the installation, he said he would restart.  With the discontinuation of the screen came the message that it was installing 2 of 3 updates... more than 24 hours later, he always says he was installing updates so I stopped it.  Once I did I couldn't access is more Vista at all.  He is just cycled through the boot upward.  So I took out my Vista CD and decided to try to do a repair.  That didn't work so I did a clean load of Vista.  It loaded correctly, putting my old copy in a folder named Windows.old.  While I started to find all programs and drivers that I need to load Vista has been automatically download and installation of updates.  When he said it was installing the updates he wanted to restart.  BIG MISTAKE.  Now I'm at square one.  Vista does not load.  It passes right through the boot sequence.  What the hell is happening?
    Hello
    Sorry, it took this measure. Don't forget Council to disable the driver updates, as it worked well
    for me. Windows updates will tell me it is available and I then HIDE and fetch manually and
    usually, I do have the latest drivers so the certified one free was actually older. This
    procedure to keep the Windows updates on and not have to worry about an older driver
    loading.
    I always recommend this:
    Leave the Windows updates on and stop the updates of the driver to load.
  • Satellite A300-1IK - impossible to update Vista
    Hello
    I recently reset my Satellite A300 to its default values by using the utility HDDRecovery. Now, the OS is Vista Home Premium SP1, but I'm not able to update vista drivers or get the upgrade to SP2, so I was struck with my SP1 default.
    I tried installing updates with automatic update, or manually checking the updates under "Windows Update" options. I have achieved anything with the first method (planned updates begin at all), while with the second method when I click on the button "Search for updates", it tells me "impossible to verify new updates; CODE ERROR 80072EFE»
    What am I supposed to do?
    Hi caiusteblack,
    > So I tried to download the executable update packages microsoft official to their download area, but all fail to install.
    Pack update that you downloaded?
    Of way General if SP1 is already installed you can begin with the installation of SP2 for Vista but SP1 must be installed in the first place. SP2 is available for download on the official site of Microsoft (no Windows Update). Download SP2 and run the install and check what is happening.
    Hello
    ·        What type of internet connection do you have?
    ·        You try to make the automatic updates or manual updates?
    Method 1:
    If it is still stuck on the installation of update page, thenrestart the computer and choose boot normally and check what is happening. If you enter Windows and not all updates have been installed, you can install the updates one at a time and see if one of them is having a problem. See the Windows updates are installed
    Method 2:
    So, everything has not updated, then try todownload and install the stand-alone package with updates from the Microsoft Download Center.
    (a) download updates from the Microsoft download Center:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx
    (b) enter the item in the field number search and download the same.
    Note: Before you install the updates, configure your computer in aclean boot State. Once you have finished installing the updates, follow step 7 article to start on normal startup.
