Update Windows 10 eat my bandwidth all:(et la mise à jour prend dele de temps)

Hello

I've recently updated most of my operating system Windows of Windows 10. But now it seems that the decision I have taken is killing me. Although I changed the settings "ask for the update and install" it seems that some updates start with force.

The worst is when a workstation on the internet get updates the total bandwidth is assigned to the :(:(

I don't have a mechanism to shape the traffic to the router. I'm not sure if I changed some setting to update how to get the update of the machines that were already updated in the local network, it seems that it does not work also.

Also install an update to a lot of time :(

Could you help me on this please?

The latest version of Windows Media Player that could open almost any multimedia file was version 6.4. Starting from this version, Microsoft have not been allowed to allow WMP to play almost any type of media file, and they were taken to court top.

That's why Microsoft does not now permit. Apparently, the decisions of the Court are there to give other media players, including Apple stuff, a foothold in the market. I don't think Microsoft 3rd party codecs use same lawyer in case they have trouble.

  • Updated Windows and now have lost all access to Outlook.

My friend was working on his computer when his computer has been automatically stopped to install an update from Windows.  When his computer returned to the top, he was not able to implement his program of Microsoft Outlook.  Its icon went, he said.  He did a backup of restoration of 24 hours, and it did not fix the problem.  Can you help me?  It has windows 7.

    Hi Blumoods,

I can't explain why it happened, but it should be easy to retrieve her icons.  Pass him c:\programfiles\microsoft office\and click on OfficeNN file (should be office11 or office12).  If you organize type as is, you should see icons for Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.  Just copy them to the office.

    Hope this helps,

If anyone knows what it is, any help to resolve this would be greatly appreciated

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I remove the virus, but he left behind two changes (and maybe more?) The first was disabiling Manager of tasks, which I fixed it after a quick search. The second is all these Stackhash error.

I tried to run the MSRT tool and scan for Vista/Win7, and both do not have...

I have my CD of Vista available, so I can just format and reinstall Windows, as it is similar to the easier and faster way to get my computer on track.

If the malicious software removal tool does not work, I suspect that you have a lot more work to do.

That said, a clean install would probably be the quickest way to return the computer to a State course.

Personal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows.  Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) won't fix this!

I can't update "windows" or "windows defender". Followed the steps described by Microsoft help, tried to download manually, have asked Microsoft to help (no response yet) these first two things didn't work. I even had something like; change setting.that message security came for "Windows update", I have change the security setting, did not just well, still nothing.
    Windows Defender gives me an error code that looks like this;
    Error Code 0 x 80070005
That's all I can get, and it will not update.
and on top of it, I've lost my "Microsoft Help and support (it) when I click Start and click Help and support, I get a (?) all help options or when I click on it nothing there is totally 'empty '.
    I have one more problem.
I tried to defrag my computer, and I can't do it either. I get a grey screen and if I click on anylise or defragment, it does nothing, no error message or anything else. Tried to manually defragment Traore does not work, tried to load a defrag on the web program, wouldn't let me load it.
Nobody knows what happens here? why I'm having these problems all of a sudden? I do nothing but send E-mails and read my emails and I do not browse the internet or enter sites that are safer. So, what can I do? How to make everything return to normal? can someone help me with this?
Also let me tell you right now, I'm not an expert on how to do things on the computer, so I'm scitish when it receives or sounds complicated. I don't want to lose my entire system because of these unfortenate none of the work programmes.

    Hello shessy49, welcome.

I would recommend that we run a SFC (System File Checker) first scan to see what he finds. Try this:

    1. click on START
2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
    3. go to the "Startup" tab and uncheck all the entries displayed
    4. click on 'Apply' at the bottom right
    5 restart your computer

    ---
    After the reboot
    ---

    1. click on START
    2. Type "cmd" (without the quotes). Right-click on the result at the top of the menu START and select 'run as administrator '.
    3. type "sfc/scannow" (without the quotes) and press enter

If the question started very recently, you can try a system restore:

    1. click on START
    2. click on "all programs".
    3. click on "Accessories".
    4. click on "system tools."
    5. click on "system restore."

6 follow the prompts shown to restore your system to a date before the problem started. Although the system restore does not target the personal data, it is recommended that you back up all data such as music, photos and documents in case something is not bad.

  • Windows Vista drivers not install ALL or update of new pilots

About two weeks ago, I had a problem with my computer marketing and don't not loading Windows. He gave me the option to start Windows normally or repair of launch Windows. I tried to run normally and windows still only would be not loaded correctly, so the next time the computer is started, I launched the Windows repair instead.

Later, I tried to save my Blackberry smartphone on my Blackberry Desktop Software program (which has been on my computer since I bought it 01/05/2009. But it does not recognize the hardware. So I plugged back it it and it began to automatically search for the driver (Driver Installation Program). It says install software device driver and he's looking for preconfigured driver folders. Of waiting for the user to input and gives me the choice: 1) locate and install driver software (recommended) (2) Ask me 3 again later.) Do not show this message for this device.  I choose option 1 and it gives a message, DEVICE DRIVER installation of MICROSOFT WINDOWS SOFTWARE and I support on continue. It gives the message: SEARCHING WINDOWS UPDATE, WINDOWS UPDATE DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING the DRIVER SOFTWARE. Then a message saying: Windows encountered a problem installing the software driver for your device. Windows found driver software for your device, but it has encountered an error trying to install it. He also says: the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.

Now, I didn't know what was wrong, so I tried to ask for help with material assistance and Paretologic PC Health Advisor and they are quite a few outdated drivers and asked if I wanted that they find new updated drivers, I agree.  And he again... the SAME EXACT PROCESS I HAVE INDICATED above. It will not install the drivers again and it will not install updates for all drivers more.

  • Update Windows on Windows 7 does not, download now, not working do not at all

I had not installed the latest updates of windows in a few months (since this summer I think). I had about 50 available updates. When I tried to download selective or otherwise, the download bar would be stuck at 0%. I waited for hours and still nothing. I had not had problems to install the updates before, and it is impossible to know if I was doing something in the months that have 'broken' the update, it is for some time.

I checked online for solutions. I downloaded and installed two updates that said to help manually (KB3138612 and KB3145739), I installed an update to update windows (?) and the convenience store update windows. I will virus scans regularly is not the issue.

Now the troubleshooting tool was hit or miss, almost always give me an error that I'm not even sure it is the same thing each time, the last one I got is 0 x 80070057. Once he said it had corrected all the mistakes, but then update windows still didn't quite work. I ran scannow command in the command prompt to check for errors, he found. At some point even the convenience store would not be executed, and I could only get working again with a system restore, so now the steps in the installation of these "helper" updates and new Windows Update Installer are null. I'm guessing there is a specific order, you can do these things, to try to solve the problem should not make things worse.

Currently, the Windows Update doesn't show updates and when I told him to check the updates he analyzes just forever. What panic me, it's now I am also unable to check the updates, Miss me and I'll even be able to have a way to do it manually. A guide step by step you would know so I make things worse while trying to fix again. Thank you.

  • all the updates Windows 7 available for installation, 0% download

    Windows 7 pro / 64-bit

A few weeks ago, I received a notice stating that the updates are available and ready to download and install.
I selected files and click OK. And left the room to go do something else, it usually takes an hour to download and install the files. I returned a few hours later and discovered "download 0% complete".  He has never taken this long.

So I contacted MS support by telephone and gave them remote access to my pc.  They conducted tests of troubleshooting.  Conclusions of the trial revealed that some files have been resolved.  Before offline support, they passed a number of folder my way and disconnected.

But I still have the same problem.  Updates are available and always see "download 0% complete".  I even let my pc for eight hours and still nothing.

According to me, there was a lot to ask the same question. Many have responded with answers and all end up the same way.
    "There is no fix.

I asked a question last week, if the updates can be downloaded manually.  One answer said to copy some files and share them on OneDrive.   OK, I opened an account on OneDrive and two shared files.  One being a copy of the information system and the other, a copy of the system events. And who shared with the question. Heard nothing.

I inserted the same link below.

Look at these files and tell me that you know how to solve my problems to download.

Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

take too long, it took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are turned on forever check

updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

Hi, I can't get 10 App window on my PC in Win7 SP1 despite all the updates. I ran the utility software troubleshooting GWA and he said that my PC is not up-to-date. I had followed all the instructions on the troubleshooting page. Under my computer properties, it shows that my Windows 7 is genuine and SP1.  I can not find the service pack SP1 showing installed in my control panel in the installed updates. I tried to reinstall SP1, but it said I already had SP1. Following the instruction on the Windows 7 SP1 download page, I tried to uninstall the SP1 that is currently on my PC using the command-line option, but he says that I don't have SP1 installed. • Update Windows 7 Windows remains to verify updates indefinitely

After 5 1/2 days in a row to each difficulty here, I am still unable to cross the verification of updates.

I tried everything to fix for the stand-alone Installer.

I reinstalled (clean up and format) Windows 7 three times since a drive legitimate (yes I checked as well) that I bought about 4 years and only used on this pc. I installed it when connected to my home network and the network. I, of course, did update the first thing I did after installing anti virus before, display drivers, etc.. Set the services to automatic.

I took the pc out of my home network and attached my cell phone at a speed of 4 g think maybe the access provider, router etc had something to do with it. When attached, that was the only time update was not allowed to run for more than six hours, because I had to use my phone.

I worked in it for a couple of years and have contacted the people in this office and their suggestions are the same as what is here, more or less, but all have been judged.

    No dice.

Whenever I tried something new, I let the process (updated) at least 12 hours to 36 hours (when I really thought I got it).

Windows Update will not appear in the process, but it is shown in services like running, always, unless I restarted. The stand-alone Installer present in the process, but never stops running, it remains to check updates. Who went for 20 hours. I followed the bandwidth down to the byte with almost nothing else running. There is literally 0 activities during the 12 to 36 hours he was running so he can never connect to search for updates.

In 20 years, using Windows products, I was never confused to the point of asking for help.

Does anyone have a suggestion or would it something with ISP/router? The only thing that is different from that in the past is I now have DSL (15 MB down) and previously had cable.

If looking for updates to hang on a current installation,

Be sure and go to uninstall a program and see which Microsoft Net framework you have installed.

4.5.2 is more consistent to have installed,

    https://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=42642

Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

You can try to manually install the most recent update client to leave your settings to update to never check the updates until you install it.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3138612

Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    https://TechNet.Microsoft.com/library/security/MS16-039?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

take too long, he took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are enabled for do not check the

updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

I think that the solution came from Softpedia and Joel_CS posted on this thread,

  • Firefox runs very slowly after updating Windows 10

Saturday, December 12, 10 Windows spent an age of update itself, with several reboots. Since then, the navigation is horribly slow with Firefox, although my internet connection is always very well (fast my Smartphone using Microsoft Edge). I have two PCs, and both seem to have been affected in the same way. Using the Task Manager, I see that Firefox uses a lot of CPU most of the time - often more than 50%. Even typing and scrolling are very slow, not just downloading.
I disabled all my add-ins and plug-ins, run in safe mode, rebooted and reinstalled Firefox without result. So far, I'd say that Firefox is the fastest browser. I think that Firefox updated itself 42.0 version a few days, so I have a suspect that this slowdown has occurred just after a Windows Update.

Update: Windows update itself again today and, like magic, Firefox is again well. So problem solved.
