Updated Dell XPS 630 graphic card

I need to know which of the folowing cards fit in the xps 630:

AMD Radeon 7950

NVIDIA Geforce Gtx 760

NVIDIA Geforce Gtx 660ti

Thank you

Hi AdaJiuq,

Good day and welcome to the community!

I wanted to just make sure that what you are referring is a XPS 630 and not an XPS 630I. As shown in our records as the Amd Radeon 7950 Nvidia Geforce Gtx 660ti are compatible with the specification XPS 630I parts. I hope this helps. For what anyone else, just let me know and I am happy to help others.

Thank you and best regards,

  • Dell XPS 8900 graphic card replacement.

I have a XPS8900 with a Dell supplied 750 card mounted TI.  I would like to replace it with a Board of Asus Strix 960 GTX.  It is longer than the existing card and I do not know if she will agree to ram slots and a few cards power for HD etc.

Has anyone with the type of card to an 8900 and physically fit on the mboard.

    Thank you

    Yes, it will fit.

Yes the stock PSU will work. Digging around for the PCI 6 Connector. I don't think that the 750ti uses an additional power cable.

Here is a link to a thread with a link to a thread for xps 8700 upgrades. The cases are the same for a 8700 and a 8900 and power supplies are also the same thing that I said.

  • Update the Dell Inspiron 660 graphics card

I had my Dell Inspiron 660 for a little over a year and am now looking to upgrade the graphics card. It's pretty close to it, but mine works on Windows 7:

In my opinion, he has a power supply 300 watt, 8 GB of ram, integrated Intel HD graphics card and is the complete Office Tower (not mini). I'm tired of playing games on low heat and would like a card that can handle parameters of medium-high on the games. I could upgrade food if necessary, but would like to keep all of the budget under $ 200. I heard the AMD Radeon 7750 may work with a 300 Watt power supply, but I don't want to take the risk of harming the computer. One of these cards would be suitable for my current setup:

    http://www.Amazon.com/XFX-DisplayPort-PCI-Express-FX775...

    or

    http://www.Amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-1024MB-graphics-01G-...

Or do I have to switch to a diet that is higher (like this one), and then that the cards would be good under $150?

    http://www.Amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-series-Watt-CX500...

You can use the 650 GTX because it requires a power supply cable 6 pin that does not have 300 watt POWER supply.  The only one that works is the 7750 HD because it does not require any additional power cling. Your best bet for the game would be to upgrade your power supply.  With the upgrade of the PSU, I will seek to obtain the R7 X 260 HERE.  This is the best you can do for less than $150.

  • The Dell Dimension 9200 graphics card upgrade

I am looking to update my graphics card on a Dell Dimension 9200 and I was wondering if the Nvidia GeForce GT 430 would work with the pc, I have a Nvidia 7900 gt. I am open to both recommendations.

My current pc features, Windows 8 version Preview (upgrade to windows 8 Pro in a few days), 4 GB of ram, intel dual core 2.13 ghz.

    Hi gaz492,

The graphics card you have mentioned should work on the Dimension 9200.

Food that has been delivered with the computer is 375W which is more than the bloc power to the graphics card. Details of the graphics card: http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-430/specifications

In addition, providing the link for the specifications of the computer:

NOTE from the ADMIN: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell >

Add the link to the manual for Dimension 9200, which is also known as the XPS 410:

There are a lot of compatible adapters to the computer: here is a list of the latest graphics cards that run on the desktop computer:

    1. nVidia GeForce GT 440.
    2. ATI Radeon HD 6570.
    3. ATI Radeon HD 6670 (requires minimum 400W).
    4. ATI Radeon HD 7750 (requires minimum 400W).

Usually if the video card is updated on the computer, you must upgrade the power too as the power supply on this computer is 375W.

Answer please if you have any other questions.

  • 8700 XPS-compatible graphics cards?

I recently bought the desktop computer Dell XPS 8700 with the specifications

-4th gen I5 12 GB of RAM, 1 TB harddrive, graphics AMD 7570.

I was wondering which graphics cards are compatible with my system, I thought specifically make the Nvidia GT 640.

If someone can answer who will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Yan12345,

Yes, the ZOTAC GeForce GTX 650 Ti AMP! Edition has a configuration of power supply of 450W and based on the specifications, it should work with your system. You can see his review here for detailed information.

    I hope this helps.

  • Absolutely the best possible upgrade for a Dell Dimension C521 graphics card?

I've been upgraded to a Dell Dimension C521, that I use as a general computer and play games.

I know that he will never play in recent games, although with the x 1300 pro that was in it when I got it I have successfully played 2 games or 3 years and more. Runs of Prince of Persia: the forgotten sands, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Darksiders without any problem (all parameters lowish and resolution 800 x 600).

Since I got it I upgraded the CPU to an AMD Athlon 64 x 2 5600 + (Windsor) and the RAM from 2 GB to 4 GB, which has cost me about £25.

I really want to update the graphics card to something better than the Radeon x 1300 Pro that I have atm. I am aware that the PSU is only 280W and I need a map of low profile for this machine, although I read Dell generally insufficiently misses their PSUS in any case. All the posts I can find here and elsewhere online seem to be old enough and I wanted to make sure that I had discovered so far had not become outdated.

So far, I found that the recommended card is the Radeon HD 6570.

Can anyone suggest something better? If not, can anyone suggest what specific version of the 6570 to get (Sapphire, Asus etc.) and the amount of memory to get with it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Squall88uk
    Can anyone suggest something better?

XFX R7 240 Low Profile Ready

30 watts TDP, against 54 watts TDP for the 6570. Faster, too.

A version of the R7 240 GDDR5 will be even faster, but more money, as well.

  • The Studio XPS 435MT graphics card upgrade

    Hi all

I have a Dell Studio XPS 435mt with these specs:

    Intel Core I7 2.67 ghz

    6 GB of RAM

ATI Radeon HD 4570 512 MB graphics card (it's the original one)

I got nothing so far, but now I want to change the graphics card because I want to play games that require higher performance, I play with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (1080 p).

So what do you suggest me? What is the best graphics card can I take, compatible with the studio 435mt?

I don't want to change the other components (and I mean the PSU in particular) I don't want to change the graphics card.

So what is the graphics card that pushes the limit of this computer?

    I have another question.

I bought this computer in Italy and it's because I'm Italian xD.

Now I'm in Boston for the summer holidays and I would buy the card here. There is a compatibility problem between Italian and American computers?

I mean the GPU are all the same despite the country or there are a few differences to take into account?

I'm sorry if I am repetitive, but I don't know if my questions are clear and understandable.

    Thanks for your help!

    I have no budget.

True, but even once, why would you spend $129 when the same one that costs only $89 HERE at Newegg.  Personally, I wouldn't put a high end as the HD 6970 card in your system, but it is up to you.  For me, just is not there, but I know that others have fact.   Cards more recent performance today they run cooler and are smaller than the last generation.  I know there are people who have put in the hot and power hungry GTX 295 in this system.  If you want a high end card without going overboard, take a look at the HD 6850 and HD 6870.  However, if you have money, you can do whatever you want if you use an i7 processor to go with it.  I'm just a little at low cost.

  • Dell Studio 1558, graphics card ATI display driver stopped responding and has recovered. How to solve this problem?

I had this problem for about 8 months now (see the title). I have updated the driver through the Windows Device Manager and have checked for driver updates it and Windows responds saying that the driver is up-to-date. I have no guarantee more that it has expired and I have no funds for their technical support (Dells). Any advice would be much appreciated. This PC has not had this problem for about 2 months, up to the last round of Windows updates on all the 15/08/14. Also, for about 1 year, Chess Titans 'freaks out' and 'unresponsive', says at the top page.

    Hello James,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft Community.

I would be grateful if you could provide us with the following information so that we can help you best:

    1. You did changes to the computer before the show?
    2. This problem occurs all by going to a specific application or all applications?

This problem may occur if you do not uninstall the driver properly and and you are just trying to update existing sound.

I suggest completely uninstall the graphics drivers and reinstall it from the Dell Web site.

Please follow the steps below to them:

    • Click on Start > run, type: devmgmt.msc
    • Expand the display adapters section.
    • Find the ATI graphics card.
    • ATI Graphics Driver right click and choose Uninstall.
    • Select the check box delete the driver for this device.
    • Restart the computer after the uninstall is complete.

Then with the help of the Service number on your computer dell laptop, update the drivers from the link of the manufacturer provided below:

    http://www.Dell.com/support/home/us/en/04?c=&l=&s=BSD

Hope that above suggestions help. Please keep us updated on the status of the issue.

  • Pavilion G6 1304SM: not updated for Win10, AMD graphics card causes serious productivity issues

    Hello.

I bought my laptop around August 2012. A week ago I updated my computer laptop Windows 10 x 64 to Windows 7 x 64 operating system. Then I did a clean install of Windows.

I got almost all the driver through Windows Update software. However, the driver for my graphics (Intel HD 3000 + AMD Radeon HD M 7450), I received is defective.

In Device Manager, the AMD graphics card is referred to as "AMD Radeon HD 7000 series" instead of "AMD Radeon HD M 7450" (the way he recalled on Windows 7).

On the site Web of the product on hp.com, where I used to see a large list of all downloadable drivers, specially designed for this computer, HP only pasted a label reading "Windows 10 drivers can be downloaded via Windows Update."

Running in graphical mode fixed, AMD is shown with a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager (I tried to update, but it says I have the latest version). I can't disable the Intel card, otherwise I'm stuck with a resolution of 800 x 600.

In dynamic mode (the one I'm used to working on), I used to set which application uses what GPU via the Catalyst Control Center. However, now when I do that, if an application is set to run under AMD GPU, it never starts. (It will allocate about 30 MB in RAM - visible via the Task Manager - but will not open the main window). If I change the GPU to Intel, the slopes of the app, but under limited return capabilities.

I use extensively chart AMD. Not being is not able to use it causes problems of great productivity for me. Are there possible solutions for me, not to mention that roll back to Windows 7?

    Hello @tbc3434,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I read your post on the switchable graphics and wanted to help you!

You can try to download graphics drivers for Windows 7/8.  If you're still having problems, then you can opt to go back to a previous generation option, in your system settings:

HP Notebook PC - upgrade to Windows 10

Once you return to your original operating system, check to see if you encounter the same problem. If this isn't the case, then you can consider holding off on upgrading Windows 10 until the drivers can be updated.

Please let me know if this information helps you solve the problem by marking this message as 'accept as Solution' , this will help others easily find the information they seek.  In addition, by clicking on the Thumbs up below is a great way to say thank you!

    Best regards, John

With an older system like the 3000, you will only be able to use the old PCI interface for a video card.  These cards are more expensive and there is no reason to spend too much on an upgrade when dealing with older systems like that. Popular cards have been the 6200 Nvidia 8400 GS or the best 9400 GT.  Do not forget only the PCI interface.  No AGP or PCI Express.

I'm not sure what your goal is the upgrade, but don't expect too much.  I know that people have upgraded to these cards to play games like the Sims.  Your system is just old with old parties slow and he can't move much faster with a video card.  You have 3 PCI slots on the motherboard.  Put the card into the top slot of most and move all other cards down lower if installed.  You should probably disable your chart integrated through your device manager before installing a video card for it to work and make sure that the first video is correct in the bios.

  • Problems with the update of drivers for graphics cards

    Hello HP

I love your work and all, like your design, but the support for this laptop when it comes to drivers?

My phone is: laptop HP ProBook 4720 s

And I want to update the driver for my AMD Radeon HD 6300 M series (I think it is 6370)

And I went on ATI/AMD drivers site many, many times... Use automatic detection features and so on... WHENEVER the pilot who was already on this laptop just it would not update... I'd like to update, because... It is already 2 years from when the driver that I always use is out.

So if you could please help me solve this problem? Please?

-When I used the automatic detection feature, it downloaded the driver but it still says that my graphics card is incompatible...

    Hello

Check with Nvidia Support, their drivers and documentation online and ask in their forums on known issues with your video card. Uninstall the NVidia drivers present
    and install later.

NVIDIA - drivers - use OPTION 1 to manually enter your info driver to get the most recent drivers.
