Adding monitors

I have a cb desktop p7-1257. It comes with two dvi ports and I have two connected displays. I want to add another card bi-ecrans but need to know if he'll kill two dvi ports which I use now. The point is to have three monitors and my TV hdmi just functional. Anyone know?

Thank you for your help

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion c p7-1257. According to specifications, your computer has;

Integrated graphics:

Card Radeon HD 6370 D graph, 6410, 6530 or 6550 D (depends on the model based on the processor)

Two DVI - D ports (two ports can be used simultaneously)

Supports PCI Express x 16 graphics cards *.

* Built-in video is not available if a graphics card is installed.

You need to install a graphics card capable of handling all 4 monitors/TVs. These cards normally use VGA/DVI/HDMI for two outings, but will require remaining DisplayPort-HDMI/DVI outputs and/or DisplayPort adapters. You will also need to replace your power supply to match the requirement of the graphics card.

Depending on what you are using this configuration, you may be able to use two adapters USB-to-video as the EVGA UV more + UV39, instead.

  • Mac Pro - Adding third monitor

    Hi all

I currently have these two monitors running from my Mac Pro (early 2009 model), both outputs standards, including the mini display port:

    Acer P223W (1680 x 1050, input VGA)

    AOC 2250W (1920 x 1080, D - SUB and VGA inputs)

    I recently inherited this monitor:

    SONY SDM-E96D (1280 x 1024, DVI - D and HD15 inputs)

What is the way more economic (and simplest) to get a Setup three monitor?

I use it for music production with logic X, games etc. Third monitor will not be used a lot, so don't want to spend more than necessary.

Thanks in advance, all very appreciated recommendations.

  • Adding a second monitor to MBP

I have a MBP end model. I've set up an external monitor. What I see on the screen is the same thing I see on the screen of the monitor MBP. I would like to put in place so that they are two separate screens. In other words, where I'll be able to drag things from one screen to the other.

In display settings, I have mirrored. I tried both ways, in and out of mirror mode. But the two ways that I always see the same thing in both monitors.

    Can someone please?

    Thank you!

In display settings, I have mirrored. I tried both ways, in and out of mirror mode. But the two ways that I always see the same thing in both monitors.

    Clear the check box

    [√] mirror displays

the available pane should get one like this:

It is the main display (with the menu bar) is arranged to the left of your secondary display. and their tops are aligned. You can have the same background on each, but open a window and things will change.

If you have the displays placed differently on your bench, drag the icons to reflect the correct relation in space.

The mouse moves freely across the border between the displays and can drag a window with it.

I have a HP Pavilion Slimline computer s5000 running Windows 7. I want to add a second monitor. Do I need to add another compatible video card to run the second monitor (the second monitor is a 42 '' Vizio LCD TV), or the new video card runs two screens?

I have a HP Pavilion HPE h8 model - 1360t.  It has a Radeon HD 7550 video card.  I would like to add a second monitor and I need a second video card.  It must be a PCI Express x 16.  Can I use an old Series 6000 Radeon card or need a newer series 7000.  I was chatting with a tech support and asked him and he gave me 4 cards of the hd series 7000 I could use.  But I can not find but one of them and I would go less if possible.

    Jim

If they are monitors Dell 1901fp, they support the VGA and DVI - D. Please check that there is VGA and DVI - D time ports. Your card will work without needing to be replaced. Connect as follows:

    Computer > DVI - D cable > monitor #1

    Technology > cable HDMI-DVI > Monitor #2

  • What video card can be added to the s330f to support two monitors?

I want to add a second monitor to my HP Pavilion s330f.  I think I'll have to add a video card that supports two monitors.  Since this is a slimline box, size is a matter in addition to compatibility.  What cards can be used?

I was unable to locate a "s330f" on HP support site. Please provide the number of name and/or product of full model specific aid. Assuming you have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3300f desktop PC, the power plant is only rated at 160 watts and there is no PCIe cards x 16 graphics in your computer's power market will be based.

Depending on what you plan on using two monitors, because there may be an alternative to a new power supply and graphics card.

    (1) Day trading, word documents, spreadsheets and other... buy an adapter USB-to-video as the EVGA UV plus + UV19 or UV39.

    (2) game... not recommended

    (3) source a bigger power supply and the new graphics card for HP

    (4) source of a greater power of athenapower.com and a graphics card 'low - profile' from another source.
