  Autochthon I had this issue for months and called / chatted with Adobe. Their attitude is that "Acrobat has different structure of program developing the other CS 6 products, it's the reason why it shows as update".

  I explained that it would obviously be my Acrobat X Pro, because he wants to "Refresh", and it should show as 'try' like other applications. I have Illustrator and InDesign CS6 installed with my photography CC program. These applications show that previous Versions, with related CC showing Versions as "try." The final message from Adobe has been 'since you don't have Acrobat X Pro, please ignore this update on the application of CC desktop '. Is more difficult, because I do need to update the CC apps I installed one at a time, avoiding the option Update everything. I also had to disable the Notifications of OS Desktop level for the application Adobe CC.

  I type in IRS Form 2848 - it won't let me add a field.  He let me use the typewriter tool.  It says I should use Live Cycle.  I use Acrobat Pro.  Any ideas?

  There is nothing you can do about it, except for the use of LiveCycle. The IRS obviously does not want people to do things to their forms.

  I'm having a problem with the typewriter tool.  I can't change my font on about 95% of my PDF files?  Every once in awhile I am able to change the font and size.  But I can't find a consistency and cannot understand the question?  When I want to write on PDF files to change the size, or font, it won't allow me.  Any ideas?

  You may need to run a "repair" on Acrobat?

  While change for Acrobat 8.x Pro/3D options are not as fully featured
  like those of Acrobat Pro Extended, both have options.

  With each request, I can access the available choices in a fairly systematically
  Frank manner.

  Using Acrobat 3D (8.1.4)
  Open the toolbar of the typewriter. With the hand tool selected, single click on a text string
  previously entered by the typewriter tool. The shape of the cursor becomes up-down and left to right
  arrows. Double-click.
  The mouse pointer is now a 'i' and a line of the blinking cursor is present about to insert. Click-drag to select text.

  The typewriter toolbar change options become available.

  a. what game do you have installed?
  b. do you get errors trying to run the game in compatibility mode?

  Look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.

  Measures to check the application event log:

  1. click on start.
  2. in the search box type eventvwr.msc, and then on enter.
  3. now, click Application in the event viewer (local).
  4. now locate the event log on the right side of the event viewer window.

  Hi, a few days I've updated Garageband for Mac. Assume that coming up with 2600 apple loops and allows for live lines to use.

  After the update, Apple Loops the loop browser said I don't have that approximately 1900 ++ loops. Where are the loops? Not sure I missed all the steps.

  Have you downloaded the new loops and sounds using the command from the menu bar main GarageBand ' GarageBand > SoundLibrary > download all sounds available?

• Why Acrobat 6.0 Standard recognize the scanner but Pro 9 will not?

  I use these two programs on an Intel Mac (same machine), 10.5.8 Progam.  My Acrobat 6.0 Standard pulls into the scanner immediately, but my Pro 9 will not recognize the scanner.  Is there something I need to do to get the Pro 9 to recognize the same scan?

• UPDATE 3172605 for Windows 7 is described as cumulative... does include all THE previous optional updates?

  I was not install most of the optional updates since it takes too much time to find out who could break Win7.

  So I have 10 to 20 optional updates... some from as early as 2014. Is it prudent to assume 3172605 replaces all of these updates, the previous updates or only those of July?

  I heard 3172605 breaks bluetooth, but I do not use bluetooth so not much. Don't know what else it breaks.

  July rollup replaces nothing except the June Rollup, KB3161608. :)

  My question was out of the patches in the table, is 10.1.2.3 9593176 patch only which applies to the R12.1.3?

  Not only 12.1.3. It can be applied to any instance of R12 circulating 10.1.2.3
