  Uninstall Adobe Creative cloud Control Panel.

  (1) open the c: drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86)------Files\ commonAdobe.

  Open the Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.

  I can't using Windows Update for two 'critical updates of security". I got anumber of error messages, but the last was 0x800A0007. This is nowhere on their support pages. Can someone suggest a possible solution?  (If I can solve this problem, I can get IE9 fixing.) With the help of Windows XP Edition family

  The two KB982132 and KB972270 updates failed to install (twice) with error message that appears now is no longer on the 0x8007001F support page.

  Since that time when I get to "check your computer for Updates" page fails to display and code error 0x800A0007, which also appears nowhere.

  Norton Internet Security Firewall is disabled and the Windows Firewall is enabled.

  Do not uninstall IE8 or IE7 before doing a repair installation leaves the two Internet Explorer and Windows in a "confused" or "broken" State - so your Windows Update (if any) problems.

• Update KB2446708 has repeatedly failed to install, citing 66A error code.

  Hi Ed,

  First try the solution at this link: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=9cfb2d51-5ff4-4491-b0e5-b386f32c0992&displaylang=en&lc=1033.

  If this does not work, remove Microsoft .net Framework 4.0 using the .NET Framework Cleanup tool http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/08/28/8904493.aspx.  And then reinstall the Microsoft .net Framework 4.0 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0a391abd-25c1-4fc0-919f-b21f31ab88b7&displaylang=en and then install the update, you are having problems with.

  If this does not work, try resetting update (including a fixit) components: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058

  If this does not work, try a manual download by putting the KB numbers who fail looking here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx and download them directly and see if it works.

  If this does not work, go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and remove content (but not the folder itself) and then restart.  See if that helps.

  Remove updates failed won't find you any lost speed - although if it could be done, it might be useful save you some space (assuming that all who uploaded was saved even if it has failed).  It also will not help install new updates.  It's a totally different question that hopefully will solve the above.  If a solution works for some but not for all of them, then try the other options to see if they can help as well in terms of everything attaches.

  Windows Update tells me that I need these four updates, and they fail and fail and fail. I've been unable to find anywhere error codes and worry about the consequences of their not updated.   When I tried to run 5.06 TVSU I got an error message at 10% of the scanning process, which TVSU could not complete the process of scanning to see if there were updates available.  After many attempts to find the updates, I uninstalled TVSU 5.06 thinking that he may be damaged.  Then I downloaded TVSU 5.06 and proceeded again to install TVSU.  After crossing the guests received the following message is displayed:
