  • What is the full error message / error code that you get on your screen?

  This problem may be due to updates pending.

  I suggest you to follow the below methods and check.

  Method 1:

  I suggest you to disconnect all external devices (printers, scanner, USB (universal serial bus) drives, etc...) Except the keyboard and mouse and then start.

  If this solves the problem, then add devices one by one after the other until you discover the piece of hardware causing the issue. Then we can update driver for this particular device.

  If the problem persists, try Method 2,

  Method 2:

  I suggest you to check if you are able to connect mode safe mode by using the following commands.

  Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

  Follow these steps to start the computer in safe mode.

  a. boot from the DVD of Windows 8.

  b. click on repair your computer.

  c. click Troubleshooting, and then select Advanced Options.

  d. Select the prompt option.

  e. Once you open the command prompt, enter the following command and press ENTER.

  Bcdedit/set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu Yes

  One time completed, please restart your computer, then press F8 to access screen on startup, then press F4 or 4 to enter Safe Mode.

  Check if the problem persists in safe mode.

  If the problem does not persist in Mode safe mode, then perform a clean boot in order to check if any third-party application is causing the problem, as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting step, read the sections "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

  I suggest you to check if there is no update pending Windows needs to be installed.

  If so, then I suggest you to install the update and check if it helps.

  Nothing worked and I'm pulling my hair out.  I use WMC with an HDHomeRun and a map of Time Warner cable.  This facility worked well for more than a year before installing this update.  The machine is a Dell XPS 8300 running windows 7 SP1.   I'm unable to watch all channels protected by DRM and I lost all my legally registered content.  It is a disaster and cost me 30 hours and counting.  Anyone have any ideas?

  This problem usually occurs due to the installation of Web the contents of the folder in the system. So, now, I you suggest to rename or delete the installation folder to the following location and then try to download Windows 8:

  It's pretty normal. All your images are always on your old computer and you transfer those to your new computer. Just transfer them as well as your catalog file and opens in Lightroom on the new computer. For presets, you need to transfer files, preferences and presets that are hidden in folders hidden on the Mac. Therefore, with the Mac, when I update the machines, I'm usually just restore from a backup on the new computer (very easy with Time Machine backups) or directly from the old machine (a little harder). This will give all files and settings and the software installed on the old machine immediately and you can just continue.
