Updates to configuration - step 3 of 3 (over and over again)

After windows vista update I get this message that I reboot: "updates of configuration - step 3 of 3-0%" (translated from Danish: o). After awhile, it restarts and I get the same message again. " Can someone help me, please?

See if you are able to boot mode safe mode with networking (one of the boot advanced options).  If this isn't the case then start with your Vista support and select the option to repair your computer.  Then do a system restore to a date prior to the update.  Once you are able to start and access the internet, then install this update: KB937287.  Once it is installed, and then run Windows Update. • Updates not configured correctly restore changes (stays on and will not shut down)

When I turn on my computer laptop windows vista, the screen «updates not configured...» "stays on and won't. Seriously, I was sitting there for five hours, trying to make it disappear. I tried to reboot in safe mode, last known good configuration etc. I don't have a Windows Vista disc, but I really need all the files on the computer for school work. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, it's almost time review and I would be devastated to lose all my tickets!

    Any help would be great!

    Hey Joe Smith,

What happened when you try to start in safe mode?

    Method 1
I suggest to disconnect all external devices except the mouse and keyboard and check if you are able to boot to the desktop.

    Method 2
You need Windows vista disk inorder to continue further troubleshooting. If you use a computer Original equipment manufacturer (OEM), I suggest you to contact the manufacturer of your computer for Windows Vista disc. Once you get the Windows Vista installation disc, you can try the steps from the following link.

  • Error Windows Update 80071AA7 - implemented to date has failed time and time again

    Hello

I get the error code when you try to upgrade Windows Vista Home Edition through the ease of windows update.

The update is Cumalative security for Internet Explorer 8 for Windows Vista (KB2530548)

I tried to uninstall Internet Explorer 8 via the uninstall command, also using an article written by microsoft for developers - all fail when the system tries to restart and the system "reverts changes."

I tried to install Internet Explorer 9 through windows and via a download direct but same process!

This affects the new updates that are not as well, when they are applied individually they work and install without problem.

Its a wholemeal bread - of ideas?

    Hello

    ·         Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·         Which antivirus program is installed on the computer?

Step 1: Temporarily disable the antivirus on the computer program.

Note: Check that you activate your anti-virus protection on the computer back after you complete these steps. It is not recommended to disable these settings on the computer. It's just to solve the problem.

Step 2: You can reset Windows Update components, and then install the update.

How to reset the Windows Update components?

  • GC installation fails on the WHO with NodeManager Configuration step

I try to install OEM Grid Control and I'm having some trouble to make it past step in the installation of the Configuration of the WHO. I'm not very familiar with Oracle products. I finished all the configuration steps listed in the documentation, and in order to solve a problem earlier, I deleted the Keynectis and Telesec certificates since the cacerts file java keystore. NodeManager is run as a service, even if I think that the Setup process starts a new instance because it cannot connect to the service. I was also unable to connect to the service through the nmConnect WLST function, if it is possible my settings are incorrect. If the only problem is that GCDomain is not saved in the file nodemanager.domains, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, because I put it in the nodemanager.domains file located at C:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager:

    GCDomain = C\:\\Oracle\\gc_inst\\user_projects\\domains\\GCDomain
    MEDREC=C\:\\Oracle\\Middleware\\wlserver_10.3\\samples\\domains\\medrec
    ---
Note: the file paths are correct and using escaped slashes, as appropriate, but this message board system turns the last double backslash in a line break. I can't find any html solution that works, so just take my word for it

I restarted NodeManager after making the change as well. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

It sometimes means that are all companies except 1, the GC server 64-bit Windows servers.

    Hello

I guess that part of the question could be a driver which is really old or similar should not be loaded.

This exit Windows updates on (after you have access) and stop the updates of the driver to load.

  • Update Apple Configurator 2 App

    Hi all

I have a few questions related to Apple Configurator 2 which I hope you can answer.

In the first Apple Configurator, you can update apps in iTunes, and then add them in the Configurator of Apple, replacing the older version of the app. In Apple Configurator 2, this is not the case. Even if I downloaded the latest version of the app in iTunes (for example iMovie for example), Apple Configurator 2 redownloads always applications that need to be updated on a device. For example, I have 23 iPads all need 7 app updates. When I select all and press update, it recognizes 7 applications that need to put up-to-date and going to download the updates. Why Apple Configurator 2 does not recognize that there are already some updated versions of the applications on the computer, or allow me to 'say' Apple Configurator 2 updated applications exist?

Moreover, I met an error during the "transfer area" some applications so I decided to update a single iPad as a test. It worked. But when I'll update another iPad, you must re-download the updates again, even if she JUST downloaded the exact same app for the iPad last update. Then why Apple Configurator is a temporary storage for applications previously updated? If I update iMovie on iPad #1 and then update iMovie on iPad #2, please redownload the update for each iPad. If, for any reason, you need to update the iPads, one at a time, it will really really take a lot of time to download the same updates over and over again. Does not appear very effective.

    Any ideas?

All iPads have the latest version of iOS 9, and the computer uses El Capitan 10.11.2

(Like a slight upgrade, I think it may be faster to simply add the applications again, replacing older versions.) However, this will give you a prompt to replace the existing application. "She will do it for each application being replaced in this way.)

  • Installation says 'successful', however, same updates needs to install over and over again. (KB2518864, KB2633880 & KB2572073)

    Hi all

original title: install said 'successful', however, same updates needs to install over and over again.

Hope everyone is doing well.  This just happened this morning and try to find solutions but seems I can't find the right one.
So I got the "shield of Microsoft", letting me know that I have some new updates available.
    1. Update for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and 3.5 SP1 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x 86 (KB2518864)
    2. Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x 86 (KB2633880)
3 security update for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 on Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP x 86 (KB2572073)
I installed the following updates and he "succeeded".  A few minutes later, the shield pops up again asking me to install the SAME updates.  I did it again and once more "managed".  A few minutes later, the shield popped up again (same updates).  This time, I installed it, my computer re-setting, however, the same updates need to be installed again.  I'm ignoring the shield right now.
Thoughts on that?  This means - it is NOT installed correctly?  How can I fix it?
I have a netbook, Windows XP laptop.
    Thank you.

Whenever the laptop to install the update. Then when you restart it will read the updates of configuration failure. Restoration of the changes.

This continues until 30 minutes before it finally restarts

    Hi @mayurz91 ,

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked in your question about your problems of HP Pavilion dv6-7040tx laptop and with updates.

Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system.

If you run an antivirus protection, this could be a problem. Disable temporarily to perform the required updates.

Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.

Plug the power supply directly to a wall outlet works. Do not connect it a power strip, surge arrester, or secondary power source as this could cause and issue.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.
